Went there on a Monday Late Lunch. The service staff directed us where to seat and we were served by a Wonderful happy server. Her name was Natasha. She was always smiles and happy to recommend items. My friend had her lobster and fixings. They were delish. Their drinks and cocktails were good. We tired their chocolate cake and that was oh so good. Overall everything was good. The biscuits were also yummy pairs well with the food. I'm not a seafood fan but I remembered how much I liked the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo I'd had at Red Lobster in Edmonton a couple years ago and that's what I ordered. It was really good! Had the clam chowder and popcorn shrimp entree. Honestly, the chowder was not very good, and tasted like Campbell's (which I would happily eat at home but expect better at a restaurant). I was there yesterday jan.02/24. Food was hot and good, but it was the service, or should I say the rudeness of the maître dee who seated us and the racism by the server. The person who seated me and my adult son decided to put us in the family section of the restaurant. We sat forever waiting for a server. The East Indian male server finally came over. Oddly he took our drinks and appetizer order as well as the main course. Our appetizer, drinks, and buns arrived and tasted good. Within 3-4 minutes our main courses arrived. We hadn't even finished our appetizers. I felt they were trying to rush us out. Again the food was hot and good. But then after we were done our server ignored us. He never came over to ask how the food was. He never asked if we needed new drinks. We waited, waited, and waited. He the server had no interest in clearing the table or asking if we wanted desert. I went to the bathroom thinking the bill would be there. Nope I had to ask the bartender to get us the bill. She did so promptly. The experience has left a bad taste. Coming from Montreal, the prospect of having a red lobster and a Popeyes within minutes of me is a dream come true. Red lobster did not disappoint. Those biscuits they serve before your meal are like little garlicky clouds of lard that just melt in your mouth. Sounds so gross, but it's soo good. As a group of 3, we ordered a few dishes and shared since we really wanted to try it all. We started with some salads (psh) and a clam chowder. The chowder was yummy and wasn't salty like I expected. The lobster pizza was really good but it was really good in the same way that Dr. Oetker frozen pizzas can be really good. I'd be shocked if it didn't come frozen. We then had deep fried platter of shrimp, scampi?, scallops, potatoes, and white fish. This dish was simply ok. It was a heavy dish to eat but the tartar sauce and shrimp cocktail sauces were too addicting to pass up. Our last dish was the lobster platter: the real star of the night. Lobster was so succulent and juicy that the garlic butter was not even needed. It also had some sausage and a piece of corn on the side as filler. Corn is corn. But the sausage had no place in this dish; I enjoy lardy breakfast sausage in the morning- not for dinner. All in all this quebecer had a great trip down memory lane! read more

We didn't have to wait for a table (bonus!). Then again, we wenr for around 7:30pm. I got cesar salad starter and fisherman's harvest main dish. Cesar salad: -I've had better. The salad was a bit soggy and the cheese was too hard. It seemed to be a full block of processed cheese that was just sliced off and bits and pieces were thrown in. The croutons were really good. Overal, the salad was good if you are really hungry. 6/10 Fisherman's harvest: This dish came with baked shrimp/pieces of scallop/pieces of broccoli/rice with cheese or cream. A side of asparagus (which I chose, and my oh my I had a large portion of it also). The tilapia fish was well cooked but could have used a bit more seasoning. The lobster tail split in two was very appealing and yummy. I could have gone for another tail. I had a hard time trying to finish the baked shrimp/scallop concoction because I founs it under seasoned and too creamy. Overall, the dish was good but I xouls have done without the baked shrimp and scallop. I thought I would be getting big full pieces of scallop. 6/10 The customer service was amazing. Our waiter was very pleasant to talk to and easy going. The other dishes my table got were lobster taco dish and harbor front shrimp and lobster. Both dishes got overall good reviews. The harbor shrimp and lobster dish was said to be under seasoned but overall it was a hit. I dont think I would go back for a dinner meal. My wife and I went there for dinner. The initial service was good and the order was taken in a reasonable time. Tuesday evening in second week of January and the restaurant was maybe 20-25% full at most. The wait for the food seemed a little longer than I would have expected and I joked that the either the fishing boat, scallop dragger or shrimp boat was delayed. My wife said it was probably all 3. My meal was ok. Fish portion was a bit small but I wasn't that hungry anyway. I prefer shoe string style fries but the regular fries were at least well cooked. Best part was the coleslaw strangely enough. My wife absolutely hated her meal. The shrimp, scallops and rice were all extremely bland and tasteless. The fries were the best part of hers despite they were supposed to be salted but weren't. I guess we know why the salt grinder on the table was practically empty. But to top it off we waited a half hour after finishing our meal for the server to come over to clear our table and settle our bill. read more

Great customer service! The meals was not hot and was not hot but it was good. The waiter came by and asked how everything was and we told him. He scooped up our plages and within a few minutes he had returned with new meals that were fresh and hot. The manager even popped by to explain what had happened. We really appreciated this As we were out celebrating our anniversary and looking forward to this treat. He even bagged up the food that was not hot so we could have it for lunch tomorrow. All you can eat shrimp promotion is a scam. You have to wait to order shrimp refills, which results sitting at the table twiddling your thumbs for about 15 minutes until the next 4-5 shrimp arrive. Then you can place another refill order. Wait another 15 minutes. Well, 14.25 minutes as it takes about a few seconds to polish off the 4 or 5 they just brought you. As for the food, it was actually quite good, the waiter friendly, restaurant clean. But not impressed by the scam. read more

First of all, I have had calamari at many many restaurants as it is my fav app. This was the worst I've had. No flavour on breading, half the order was red peppers, the dipping sauce was flavourless and was one of the most expensive ones I've had. I order a dish that had lobster, mussels, shrimp and scallops. The scallops where the size of a kernel of corn. The lobster was so small and not much of it. The shrimp was ok as were the mussels but not enough of them. The bulk of the dish was watery spaghetti with little flavour. For the cost of this dish ($33) it was not worth it. They provide crappy service. I have visited this restaurant many times over the last few years, because my family loves seafood. When we want to take our guests out for dinner, we would pick this restaurant for its convenient location and "standard" service. For most of my visits, I find it's difficult to get the server's attention and I'm not sure what they're doing. They don't come ask you how you're doing when the restaurant is not even busy. On our last visit, because they ran out of potatoes or something, without asking in advance, they brought a dish of steamed broccoli as a side. When we told them we didn't order broccoli, they told us that they'd bring out the ordered baked potatoes soon. They never did. I had to ask the waitress again for it after at least half an hour had passed. The waitress at my last visit didn't give us more napkins when asked, either. I'd definitely be picking a different $100+ restaurant next time my family eats out. read more

The biscuits are to die for but so over priced for average food. Lobster is currently$4/lb wholesale but they are charging $35 for a 1.25 lb one. SERIOUSLY???? Everything was drowning in parsley and cilantro - it gives me major heartburn so I asked for it to be left off. THREE of four items came out with parsley on them and had to be sent back. I went there on my way to Niagara Fall. Being afraid of no place to eat at Niagara Falls because of expensive price and crowded space (it was a long weekend), my family and I decided to visit this big chain restaurant. Very wonderful experience! Highly recommend plank grilled seafood! Friendly staff and high quality food! I think this place is better than the one in my town (I live in MI). Been to this location twice and each time had a good experience. Staff are friendly and prompt. There is a great four course meal deal for $23. The biscuits are incredible! I don't know about other Red Lobsters but the one in London sucks. My last meal I ordered lobster. Took forever to finally get it and it sure wasn't worth the long wait. I had the crab cake for appetizer, and it was very disappointed. We found a lot of crab shell in it, and it really affect the taste. (The crab cake I had at Moxie's is way better - i like crispy on the outside) Other than the crab cake, I ordered the shrimp trio combo - garlic shrimp, shrimp Alfredo pasta, deep-fried shrimp. It's taste not bad, but not impressively good since I can probably make the same thing on my own. The service was good - friendly and fast. Our waiter was nice, and he took the steak off my friend's bill because he thought it was too old. (that's why we feel bad to complain about the crab shell in the crab cakes) Also, their lady washroom was really clean, the toilet seat was spotless. When I was waiting at the entrance, I saw this little girl patting a live lobster, and asking "what's his name?" my heart just melted, she made my day :) read more

I've always had a soft spot for Red Lobster. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but Red Lobster just gives me a warm feeling inside from the second I enter the building. So if you want an unbiased review, you won't find it here. I came here with my family, and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. We told her how we had just moved to Canada from New York and she was very interested in hearing all about it. The food was very good. When we went (during autumn) there was this pumpkin pie in a jar dessert which was really phenomenal. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone. Oh, and the endless biscuits. DAMN. My wife really likes seafood and we don't find to many places in London to go, we end up eating a red lobster for lack of better choice. It usually is not bad, generally if you get lobster or crab it's cooker properly and you can enjoy. They are currently running their "Lobster Fest" promotion. I had a lobster tail that came with three lobster tacos. I was a bit skeptical but I figured it may taste like a poor mans lobster roll. Unfortunately when I tried to eat them I discovered there was only a single tiny piece of lobster in them. There was lots of shrimp and lettuce and far to much sauce, but the lobster in all three of them would have totaled a single bite.
