I had lunch today at Red Lobster. It was fairly empty when I got there just before noon but filled up rather quickly. Anna, my server, started me off with their yummy hot cheesy biscuits. I'm not a seafood fan but I remembered how much I liked the Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo I'd had at Red Lobster in Edmonton a couple years ago and that's what I ordered. It was really good! Anna took good care of me.

Had the clam chowder and popcorn shrimp entree. Honestly, the chowder was not very good, and tasted like Campbell's (which I would happily eat at home but expect better at a restaurant). The shrimp was a good option and I enjoyed the crispy little shrimp and dip. Biscuits were excellent as always, although we unfortunately had to wait 20 minutes for them to be ready.

I went there for lunch. I was greeted by the waitress in less than 3 mins. I was a little worried because there was a table of 8 beside me. I had the fried shrimp, French fries, biscuits and a Cesar Salad it came to 15.00 ish. I let the waitress know I was there for lunch and my food came out very soon. I was very impressed with my waitress Danielle. Thanks for a tasty meal

I don't care what the people say, I love you, red lobster. They have a great menu, that's fairly priced, a cosy welcoming atmosphere, and very good service. What could be wrong with that?

Coming from Montreal, the prospect of having a red lobster and a Popeyes within minutes of me is a dream come true. Red lobster did not disappoint. Those biscuits they serve before your meal are like little garlicky clouds of lard that just melt in your mouth. Sounds so gross, but it's soo good. As a group of 3, we ordered a few dishes and shared since we really wanted to try it all. We started with some salads (psh) and a clam chowder. The chowder was yummy and wasn't salty like I expected. The lobster pizza was really good but it was really good in the same way that Dr. Oetker frozen pizzas can be really good. I'd be shocked if it didn't come frozen. We then had deep fried platter of shrimp, scampi?, scallops, potatoes, and white fish. This dish was simply ok. It was a heavy dish to eat but the tartar sauce and shrimp cocktail sauces were too addicting to pass up. Our last dish was the lobster platter: the real star of the night. Lobster was so succulent and juicy that the garlic butter was not even needed. It also had some sausage and a piece of corn on the side as filler. Corn is corn. But the sausage had no place in this dish; I enjoy lardy breakfast sausage in the morning- not for dinner. All in all this quebecer had a great trip down memory lane!

2.5/5 Went here for Saturday night dinner: There is no reservations but seeing that it was easter weekend we called ahead and asked what time would be best for us to come and avoid the rush. We didn't have to wait for a table (bonus!). Then again, we wenr for around 7:30pm. I got cesar salad starter and fisherman's harvest main dish. Cesar salad: -I've had better. The salad was a bit soggy and the cheese was too hard. It seemed to be a full block of processed cheese that was just sliced off and bits and pieces were thrown in. The croutons were really good. Overal, the salad was good if you are really hungry. 6/10 Fisherman's harvest: This dish came with baked shrimp/pieces of scallop/pieces of broccoli/rice with cheese or cream. A side of asparagus (which I chose, and my oh my I had a large portion of it also). The tilapia fish was well cooked but could have used a bit more seasoning. The lobster tail split in two was very appealing and yummy. I could have gone for another tail. I had a hard time trying to finish the baked shrimp/scallop concoction because I founs it under seasoned and too creamy. Overall, the dish was good but I xouls have done without the baked shrimp and scallop. I thought I would be getting big full pieces of scallop. 6/10 The customer service was amazing. Our waiter was very pleasant to talk to and easy going. The other dishes my table got were lobster taco dish and harbor front shrimp and lobster. Both dishes got overall good reviews. The harbor shrimp and lobster dish was said to be under seasoned but overall it was a hit. I dont think I would go back for a dinner meal. I wouldn't mind going for lunch to try out some of their lunch sandwiches.

As we were planning to be in London (Ontario) anyhow we decided to stop in mainly out of curiosity. First and foremost this is a bar....the local 'watering hole'. Interior is a cross between dive bar and diner. In the early afternoon the bar was full of locals enjoying a beer. The menu is full of typical bar food, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, fish and chips, ribs etc. Hot dogs are the main event here with dozens of choices from the standard chili to ones topped with cereal and drizzled with maple syrup. Dogs are about the same size as a Costco dog but we did see a couple of locals order a foot long. They have a daily special and on Tuesday it's $2.00 tacos (choice of classic or pulled pork) or a slight up charge for the other choices (steak or chicken). Tacos come in soft or hard. What was ordered: 1 pulled pork taco and 1 classic taco 1 chili dog BBQ chicken quesadilla 1 poutine There are no combos. When you order a hot dog that is what you get. A hot dog. A side of fries or onion rings is extra. The verdict...it was okay. For food that is not complicated to make, our order took almost 30 minutes to arrive and it wasn't busy with food orders. When we ordered the $2.00 tacos we were told we also needed to order a drink to get the special. This is not printed on the ad. The quesadilla and chili dog were unremarkable. Poutine even more so. Service was good though. There was one server who also manned the bar. She seemed to know most of the locals and was very friendly.

Music was perfect for a nice quiet lunch, a mix of older rock and country played at a volume that didn't drown out conversation. I had a hot dog with coleslaw and it was delicious. Fries were nothing special, likely from frozen. I would likely try a different side next time. Service was a touch slow, but the waitress was apologetic because they were changing over the soda, so that really can't be avoided. All in all I enjoyed it and would definitely eat here again.

Even after sitting on platter as we ate slowly over 30 min... still excellent. If I were choosing one app this would be it. The shrimp were exceptionally good. I'd be glad to eat them all alone as an app... one of the best. Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, mini spring rolls, garlic cheese bread and potato skins were good. Would not be disappointed if I didn't taste everything else. But not great The wings are prepared very crispy with lots of batter, cooked right. But the "medium" sauce is quite mild and very sweet. Two big men left satisfied after sharing the platter as our meal so portions are good. 5 sauces were fun. Staff were very friendly. Just so busy. I think more customers than anticipated came in as usually they are very attentive. It is a typical roadhouse sport bar. We sat at the bar which was fine. Clean and decently lit.

I can understand once, but I tried a few times (I am in the area often with friends) - Just stay away!

My entree should arrive with the side dish the menu claimed it came with. The server should know that it's supposed to come with those mushrooms, and not come up to me with the menu and ask me where it says it comes with mushrooms. I shouldn't have my food taken away to "keep it heated" while waiting for the side dish, and while my dinner companion gets her plate. I shouldn't have to flag down a waiter for water refills. This is fake fine dining. The prices are real fine dining, but the service and experience are sloppy casual. Very embarrassing for a Valentine's Day menu with extremely limited options to cause so many problems. Again: the food was great. No problems with the food. There was a sign to wait to be seated ... so I did ... for a long time. No one made an appearance so I sat myself. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai (without peppers and onions as they upset my stomach). It was delicious! My favourite pie in the whole wide world is lemon meringue and I couldn't resist. It was good. The food was really good and I'd go back for that Pad Thai again. The problem, though, is the service. As I said, I waited to be seated but finally ended up seating myself. Alannah was my server (she was also the bartender). Though she was friendly, I was wondering if perhaps the restaurant was understaffed as she seemed to disappear for a while ... taking care of other tables in the dining room maybe? And it's not like it was crowded ... while I was there, there were four tables of two max in the bar area and maybe three tables of people in the dining room (and Alannah wasn't the only server). I wasn't in any rush so had the time (and patience). I would have rated it higher if the service had been better.
