I am generally not a yogurt person, But was in the mall and it looked really good. I went up to the counter and the young lady asked if i wanted to try any of the yogurts. I tried the mango and the pomegranate and dark chocolate. I went with a small dark chocolate yogurt with strawberries, pineapple and raspberries on it. I have to say was not sure what to expect as far as the fruit goes, But all the fruit was very fresh and really good. It was totally delicious, Definitely hit the spot. I've been accustomed to making my own froyo, but since this one wasn't self-served, I had to ask about how many ounces were in the small size and which flavors they would recommend. They didn't have any of my usual flavors like taro. :'( I decided to get milk chocolate and green tea froyo with mochi and Reese's peanut butter cups. The chocolate was good, but the green tea was more tart than a creamy green tea flavor. It is their newest flavor so I thought it was worth a try. Who knows? It could have turned out awesome like the soft serve I've had in Chinatown. Other than that, I was happy with my purchase. They were the first frozen yogurt store to be certified by the National Yogurt Association with the Live & Active Cultures seal, indicating the use of real yogurt. Currently, the lineup of frozen yogurt flavors consists of Original, Pomegranate, Madagascar Vanilla, and a rotating variety of specialty flavors. My hubby had coconut flavor I had white peach, and our friends had bunch of mixed flavors. It did not blow me away but it was good and I would have some more if near a Red Mango but I don't need to go out of my way to get it. Overpriced!! The coconut ice cream was overly sweet and artificially tasted like a medicine and coconut combined. To put a little bit of chocolate sauce which they claim is Gihiradelli and I'm sure it's not it didn't taste like it and they charged me $.73 for barely a tablespoon of it. Same thing with a little bit of sprinkles they charged me $.85 I mean seriously what a rip off. See my receipt for a total of $6.03 I could've had the same size ice cream around the corner in the mall at Häagen Dazs and it would've been a much better quality. This location is on the first floor (the more deserted side) of Roosevelt Field Mall. There is always a long line and 2 people working. You select your cup size, flavor, and toppings first and after you pay, you stand off to the side. The male cashier was efficient and polite. The woman who was fulfilling the orders was slow and not very friendly. She would put each order on the counter w/o saying anything, I only heard her say thank you to a guy (who seemed like a regular, maybe mall employee). The cashier eventually got off the register and helped out his co-worker, he was a lot faster. I got the coconut flavor with chocolate chips & strawberries and a milk chocolate flavor with chocolate chips & brownie bites. The coconut flavor was good, I would definitely recommend that one. The chocolate on the other hand tasted sour and bitter. The brownie bites tasted weird as well, and again very bitter. Two cups came out to $12 and change, which is fair. read more

I absolutely love the smoothies at Red Mango. My go to is the Tropical Mango which has mango and pineapples. I've also tried the strawberry banana and it's pretty good, I usually don't indulge in the yogurt itself much, but if I do, this location is usually well stocked with toppings, and they have free wifi so that's great too. read more

This review is not about their yogurt but the service provided. There is almost always a line here at this location inside Roosevelt mall. And though it is not clear to all, you are suppose to pay on the side first and not stand where all the toppings are displayed where people are waiting for their yogurts that have already been paid for. This leads to much confusion as a stupid crowd is now standing there waiting to order when you are suppose to be there waiting for your order. My other gripe, that I did not experience (since I got yogurt with no toppings) but was experienced by my friends with me is that when they fill the yogurt on your cup, they fill it to capacity closer to the rim of the cup which leaves no room for the 2+ toppings you just paid for. So when they lay on the toppings, you are totally getting jipped with how much they can put on. It was only a sprinkle of granola and not a real full size topping. Also, when you do get your yogurt and think that they filled it to capacity, you are at a loss because now as you eat your yogurt you find a giant void in the middle of the swirl that is totally hidden (FAIL!). Any good server knows that you need to make the swirl in the middle of the cup for ample toppings. So when my friend asked for a container of granola since he was very unhappy with the amount of granola on his yogurt, the server asked him to pay for it in which he yelled at the guy, and the server gave it to him for free. Not my fave Red Mango location, would rather go to the self-serve ones than this one at the mall. read more
