It's still great. Two updates: Have had the mango flavored froyo and the green tea froyo. Mango is good to go! Really good with fruity pebbles and mochi or any fruit of your choice. Green Tea Froyo, I am not a fan. I've definitely had better. Personally, i still prefer the regular flavor with toppings. It can get expensive though. And since this is really the only good froyo place in the area, I'm going to keep coming back. read more

Love that this place is located in downtown Naperville. Hate that they charge you an arm and a leg for frozen yogurt! I guess they have to since they only offer four flavors of frozen yogurt at any given time. However, they offer other treats such as smoothies, teas, and parfaits. If you come here any time during the week from 11-4 you will get great customer service and likely a very eased environment. I can't say this rings true for summer when all the little drool-bots are out of school, but for the past three months, it has been consistent. Joyce is always there when I go in with one of my fabulous friends and she's really sweet and always makes sure your money goes a long way when it comes to toppings, which is a huge plus. Kind of a bummer when you're a the bottom of your yogurt and your goodies were all gone within the first half. I like a generous mix in, typically because it is a pricey little treat. However, the health factor and the taste make up for that. She is always chatting with us, because we are rather hard to avoid, and makes the whole process enjoyable. Probably the best place to find good frozen yogurt in Naperville. It's nestled right along the riverwalk in the downtown area. If you're ever in California, I'd recommend Yogurtland, especially when lychee yogurt is in season. Still prefer the original flavor with godiva choc chips, strawberry, and mochi. Green Tea is okay. Haven't tried the other flavors yet. If you have a cell phone, there's sometimes a $1 off coupon code to get from a text. I live in Chicago, but my fiancé's parents live near Naperville, so every time we are out to visit, I just have to have Red Mango. Chicago is great and all, but none of the three yogurt places in the city can hold a candle to Red Mango. RM's yogurt is soooo velvety and smooth, unlike those other chains' stuff which is frosty (as in contains crunchy ice crystals) and gross. My favorite Red Mango flavors are Green Tea and their current flavor, Pomegranate. Oh em gee, are they good! I like to get fresh fruit (and I mean, they seriously do have fresh fruit) on my yogurt and usually opt for mango and kiwi or strawberries. Was just in line to get a smoothie when I watched the only guy behind the counter clean up a spilled smoothie off of the floor with his bare hands and then proceeded to turn around to touch the blender and spoons. He was about to start making a smoothie WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS when I asked him about it. He stated he was "just checking the order" and was going to go wash his hands. Gross. With summer officially over it is time for me to put up a review about this wonderful place me and my wife have been visiting almost every weekend for a little treat. We have found out about this from our close friends who have been coming here for a while. We went there the first time just to try it out and we liked it so much that we tried almost everything on the menu (my wife and I combined). We liked everything so much that we cannot say there was something not good or awful. The service was amazing (always on top of everything, always got our orders right). The prices were decent too especially for the quality of the deserts. We always sat outside, ate our treat and talked in the Chicago heat. Now that summer is over we will probably stop visiting it as often but we will still remember to visit once in a while. Better than Cold Stone! Highly recommended !!! read more

I used to love this place...the last several times I've gone, I've been disappointed. At first I thought it was location dependent...now I realize their quality has just overall gone down. The ice cream recipes are not what they used to be; very watery with unpalatable flavors. I didn't even fill my cup up halfway and the total was over $5; unfortunately it tasted like cough syrup so we didn't finish it. Gonna have to knock off a few stars since they changed the format of the store. The redesign now includes a help yourself yogurt and topping bar. I've been there on two occasions - once when the store was very empty: the self serve was simple to use with no one else crowding it and the toppings looked fresh. On the other occasion, it was jam packed - the self-serve area was crowded and waiting to be rung up took unusually long as they've gone from 2 registers to only ONE register. Someone had a problem and therefore slowed the entire line. The topping bar was a disaster - many things were out & spilled all over the place. The old set up, even on a crowded night, seemed to flow much better. Also, the yogurt is NOT the same - seems to be much more runny and weaker flavor than in the past. read more

Okay, I'm going to go against the grain here and say I was a bit disappointed. On the health front, yeah--it's AWESOME. There's no denying that, but the taste...not so much. My first taste of Red Mango, and I was a little disappointed as the taste of their version of the latest tart froyo craze. IMHO, I still favor pinkberry (or crackberry as many have fondly referred). The fruit topping (mango specifically) was just overly ripe and more like mango jam over the top of my pristine plain froyo. It'll do in a pinch, but this place also needed to be cleaned a bit. This place is my new found love! A friend of mine told me about it a couple of months ago and I finally had the chance to go this month (well, I actually went twice) and it was so good. Normally, I don't do any sort of frozen yogurts or ice cream once the weather gets cold, but I can totally see myself eating a parfait in the dead of winter. The place was clean and my son was happy with the non dairy selection for day (caramelized pineapple). The mistake came when I decided to order one of their juices. Mind you all of them seem amazing as I really enjoy fresh JUICE. I immediately became upset when I saw the work staff grab ICE, put it in the collection container not once but three times. After the second round of ice scoop he started putting this juice-water in the bottle. He saw there was still a few ounces needed so he added the third scoop of ice and about 3 slices of apples. I have never in my life seen this. I should not have to pay $8.00 for juice-water. Never will I ever purchase from here again. There are a plethora of frozen yogurt/ice cream places in Naperville. Ice cream's not my favorite thing, I'll say that up front, but my hubby loves to go get some. We tried some other places in town, all of the "pull the lever" variety of frozen yogurt, and Red Mango's original tastes the best. It's tangy and not too sweet (unless you put gummy bears on it - why why why hubby). The price isn't too bad, either. So why only 2 stars? It's just grossly dirty in there, every time I go in. Sticky, spotty floors and tables. The yogurt dispensers look suspicious to me too. The help is always young teens who do not really care at all about customer service or being enthusiastic about their jobs (and I've been dragged to Red Mango since it opened - it never changes). i just don't get this place's popularity. I went to 4 different locations looking for the dairy free dark chocolate sorbet and 3 of them had discontinued it for a very nasty flavor Cucumber. I went to the fourth location only to discover that the machine had just stopped working. I AM VERY UPSET THAT YOU NO LONGER CARRY the dark characters flavor. I LOVE Red Mango! This place is the bomb... There's no other way to put it. I've tried all the flavors of yogurt and they are all good. However, I would walk 10 miles in the driving snow with an elephant on my back for the melon flavored yogurt with yogurt chips and strawberries. Their melon flavor literally tastes like sweet fresh-cut cantaloupe and I can't seem to get enough of it. They switch the "special" flavors (like melon, key lime, and black cherry) up pretty regularly, so if you find a favorite go often while they still have it. But you can always get original, vanilla, and pomegranate. The best part about this place is that you can have a delicious dessert pretty much guilt free. Can't beat that. read more
