When I ask the person behind the counter to select and cut it for me (since they wear gloves and are selecting the bread from the clean side), they are more or less helpful. Some seem annoyed to be asked. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $5.50+ a loaf, you should be able to cut it up for me. I don't want bread people have touched or to use a machine people have their bare hands all over. Their half loaves of bread are a scam. People put their bare hands into the glass shelves, or maybe, use a sheet of the thin paper, if it's available (sometimes, it's not). That's just gross, and they've doubled the price of these things.
