Steve came by to assess several hours after we requested and was able to schedule removal for the next day, astonishingly. We did not see indemnification language in his form proposal (agreement), but were able to have him add us as additional insureds -- and he volunteered to add all adjoining neighbors as well. His policy limits are adequate. And he affirmatively reached out to the school across the street from us to notice them about the large trucks and noise associated with tree removal. It was a huge job, but he and his team were able to complete the work in a single day. Other contractors had told us it would take two days. He and his team were clearly experts at rope work and took down branches without causing damage to the pergola or patio below the tree. They did have to take out our beautiful smaller tree adjoining the large, leaning tree, sadly. This kind of work is expensive -- heart-attack-inducing expensive -- but based on the quotes we received, Steve's pricing is not unreasonable. Very professional company and team, very responsive to questions. We would not hesitate to recommend Steve to anyone who finds themselves in the same unfortunate situation we were in!

They have a space across the Bronx from us where we can get all the chips we need and more, and they've been so generous about letting us have at it. Our neighbors also needed wood chips and have a space their trucks can be driven up on, and so they were able to arrange 2 full truck loads of wood chips delivered.
