Have been going there close to a year now. I love both gentlemen as they always do a good job! Today I received a woman, that I have received before, that does not do such a good job and actually charged me $5 to shorten my nails which has never been done before. Last time she said $5 also to something that I have had done before with no extra $5 charge. Today I asked her why am I being charged as I was just here 2 weeks ago and not charged. She said it just started... Now I don't want to return and get nickel and dimed... Nail shortening is a normal occurrence with a fill/rebase.. Not happy! read more

I just had the WORSE experience EVER! I had an appointment set with the owner & experienced a 30 minute wait, this being the 2nd time. My first time coming here. I did have to wait awhile in my pedicure chair but once they started on me the service was really good. The lady taking care of me took her time and was very careful with my feet. I also got an eye brow wax and was happy, they listened to what I wanted and did not go over board. This is the first time I've been to Red Nails. I wanted to try something close to home after work. Went in and they were ready for me right away. I got a gel mani, basic pedi, and a brow wax. The gel manicure looks and feels amazing. The lady (didn't get her name) kept checking on me asking if the size and shape were correct. I was getting my nails and toes done at the same time and both were patient and laughed with me as my feet tickled and I kicked and pulled hoping not to mess up the job! Once they were done my brow wax was good too. I thought she had over plucked but my brows had just been too bushy! LOL! I feel the gel mani was a bit pricey hence the 4 stars. I moved to this state earlier this week and was in need for a gel mani and pedi. I called prior but the phone went to voicemail service. I realized then per there hours on Sunday, they weren't open until 10 am, which I was about 10 minutes ahead of. Therefore I decide to just drive over since I would make it once they opened. I walked in and noticed over 20 customers being taken care of at 10:01. I was then asked what I needed and once I explained, I was told it would be a 30 minute wait at least. Stunned, I agreed and sat near the front door. Another patron came in after me and asked for 2 pedicures and the same employee who said it would be 30 mins told them to sit in chairs that were numbered. The patron looked at me and asked "wait, are you before us? Aren't you waiting?" I states I was told to wait about 30 mins and out of nowhere the same female employee yelled, "I ALREADY TOLD YOU SIT IN SEAT 6! You didn't listen to me. I already told you!" I replied stating I didn't hear her say that and proceeded to sit in seat 6, knowing I'd have to wait 30 mins sitting. As I sat I thought to myself I should just see if there are places elsewhere that would work best and hopefully have nicer people. Quick google search brought me to another place that I called, made an appointment and was taken care of right as I walked in. Overall, unhappy with the way I was treated when I walked in.l, especially since I just moved here and this was literally the first experience I had with a nail salon in the state. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else but just a fair warning. read more

I have been coming to Red Nails for years, but today was my LAST DAY! I had already given them a second chance after one of their nail techs had talked to me very rudely, so this was definitely their last straw. I got the pedicure that included the hot stones and as I was getting my nails done, I realized he didn't do the hot stones with my pedicure. So as I was about to pay I asked if they could take $5 off since I didn't get the hot stones. They then told me that I needed to pay the full price because they couldn't pull up the camera to see if he didn't do it because he said he did. I am a customer and for them to not believe my word was ridiculous!! Since they did not want to leave me as a happy customer I advised them that he would not get his tip and I will never spend money with them again. I believe the reason why the man lied was because the owner was getting on him about forgetting to do the hot stones. Poor customer service is a no for me and one thing about nail techs, there are many more who can do what you do, if not better! Red Nails has lost me as a customer and I will be telling everyone about my poor experience! read more

Was told my new set would cost 45. I herd later should have been 40. Then when I asked about matte nails price went up to 55 (for matte really?!) No thanks! When I was there owner was getting upset with a customer who wanted a refund on some gift cards. Talk about unprofessional made me super uncomfortable and left with air bubbles in my nail color. Kevin did an absolutely amazing job on my manicure. He was very attentive and took time to ensure my French tips looked just like I wanted. His attention to detail was exactly what I've been missing from other salons. This might be less desirable for others but my mom and I were in a hurry so the fact that they did our manicures while we got our pedicures was perfect. The gentleman who did my pedicure did the best, most detailed job I've ever gotten for a "basic" pedicure. My cuticles on both my toes and fingers look sublime. My mom is an amputee and therefore only has one foot. Without even asking they offered her a discount on her pedicure, this is something we usually have to beg for at other salons. The salon itself is clean and well organized. It's moderately busy but all of the guests seem happy and the employees give individual attention to each person. We will be making this our regular salon. read more

I was getting their 'deluxe' pedicure and gel polish. Thought would have at least some relaxing time; get a massage and have freshly painted nails for $60 plus tip. NO!!! the girl next to me who started at the same time as me was just getting basic pedicure and regular polish and we were done almost at the same time. 30 minutes top! The gel polish on my toes looks terrible and got on the skin, they charged $15 for that! My 1y.o could do a better job on painting! Been a customer for 5 years and I hope to never go back. Shaun was my all time tech. I would always schedule appointments and he wouldn't take me in at the time I was scheduled but I still managed to wait for him as he is the only good one there but today I've had it I don't appreciate the fact that I came In two hours before closing and he asked me to come back another day and that all the techs were busy. If I could give this place zero I would. I've never had an experience like this. My technician was in a hurry to go home and fudged up my manicure when I spoke up and asked that it be done correctly she again botched the fix. When I pointed this out she proceeded to remove the nail polish from all my fingers without asking. I asked her what she was doing and then the other lady barked at me that I am too picky so they would give me my money back but I can't have nail polish. They then barked that someone else would fix it but that I was too picky and I made my technician cry. By the way she wasn't crying. At that point I decided to leave with some dignity and then they made no effort to refund my money. I've come before and seen Tammie and she was great but I will never come again as the rest of the girls don't seem to have customer service in mind. My 11 and 13 year olds had basic manis for $17 that were rushed through when they couldn't upsell them (one was starting to peel later that day). After being told by me, their mom, what the kids were getting, their pushy manicurist were still trying to upsell them. Been here a couple times liked it at first went there yesterday with my brother and sister to get a full set and pedicure. The whole time the lady was rushing from the moment we started receiving service. This was the worst experience she kept cutting me with the machine , I asked for coffin nails with a marble design (doesn't even look like marble) I also asked for lettering she told me that she couldn't do it I asked for other designs and same response that she couldn't . Now tell me why my nails shape are one not even the same . I didn't get there when they were about to close i knew what I was going to get done so I went in at 5 . And not only that I think it was very rude on demanding money . I told the lady that did my sister nail three times that I was paying for my brother and sister . She was dead ass asking me to pay while I was still being service. After this experience I'm never going back to this place . They ripped my nails off... Ripped my gel right off there was no soak or wrap. This was done with the supervision of someone who wasn't brand new. The girl next to me was having her overgrown acrylics chopped off and they say her right next to me and they repeatedly flicked me in the face. It wasn't a horrible paint job at the end but I couldn't get over the trauma or my nails being ruined. Also $30 for gel instead of the usual $25. Won't return. read more

I came here back in May and loved it! I got a gel full set and the deluxe pedicure along with waxing. Everyone super nice and thorough and I my nails turned out perfect, in fact I received compliments on them 10x a day. fast forward to Saturday July 23.... A complete opposite experience. It was busy but the wait wasn't long about 10 minutes and they did my nails first. The techs name was Jane and literally 2 fingers in I knew it was trouble. She nicked my cuticle but made no attempt to apologize or acknowledge it (I get it mistakes happen but apologize) then while doing my nails with the drill she is destroying my cuticles and then asks them if I want them cut (now that there all managed) I say yes isn't that part of a manicure cuticle care? No it's $5 more... Well ok I see where this is going. Fast forward 5 mins she nicks another finger and then cuts the first finger again. I am trying to stay polite but finally asked her to stop so I can examine the damage. She tells me sorry I have thin skin. I get my nails done often and have never had this much trouble. We get to the end and now she keeps saying sorry while laughing and says I counted your bleeding on 4 fingers I correct her and say 5..... Who says that!?!? I skipped the waxing and got out of there I am so unhappy all Sunday morning my cuticles were inflamed I had to soak in peroxide and my cuticles are Destroyed I am attaching pictures of 2 of the 5 bloody fingers Needless to say I will not be returning read more

Since this place has open, I have been coming every 2 weeks. This nail salon has great staff, the environment is clean and relaxing. They have a variety of gel colors for the nail buff not to get bored! The only area of opportunity is they are short staff so sometimes you have to wait on the weekends. However there are those times where you can just walk right in and get your service. I recommend either calling and placing appointment or just go in and ask how long the wait and make the choice to stay or leave and come back. read more

This is my favorite nail salon on the SS. If there is a wait, it's never really long. Tammy, the owner, is always in a good mood and very polite. I love that I can get a gel mani and a pedi at the same time (most of the time), that is so convenient. Another gal walked in and complained about the odor and to be honest, it rarely ever has a chemical smell inside. Everyone does good work and is very quick. I give 4 starts because you might not see the same person regularly, there's always someone new when I come. And sometimes I feel they rush through the gel nails so they don't always last longer than 1 week. read more

Went in today for a brow wax. Was expecting to wait as they were pretty busy. Like most good salons are. I was told to wait back in the waxing room. Wasn't sure where it was as it was the first time I had been there. Waited about 10 mins. Then when the lady came in she said no you're on the wrong table come to this one. I moved. She said nothing else to me aside from trying to get me to get a pedicure or a manicure. She was rough in moving my head around and the wax was extremely hot. She didn't even ask if it was too hot. This was 4 hours ago and I am still very red from it being too hot. I am giving three stars because even tho she was rude and rough she did a good job on cleaning my brows up. Today was my 3rd visit and each time I came to visit I tested a new nail tech. Risky I know but they are all great at what they do. I have to say that Jimmy is my favorite and that the he is my preference as far as having an assigned nail tech he took his time making sure that there were no imperfections on my nails as far as shaping and painting. Spent an afternoon in Phoenix waiting on a friend to arrive on a later flight, so I found this place a couple miles from the airport and I'm so glad I did. The girls there did a fantastic job on my gel mani, deluxe pedi and brow wax. I didn't realize I was so disheveled until I saw the after product....so so good. I would definitely recommend!
