First-time client here--I've never had a laser facial before and decided to try it since they were running a $50 promotion. I even called the day before to confirm because my confirmation email said it would be a 15-minute laser facial, and I wanted to make sure it was a full treatment. I was reassured at the time. I drove 35 minutes to get there, only for the "full laser facial" to last about 2 minutes. It was honestly shocking and very disappointing. The entire time, both people I interacted with were focused on trying to sell me their monthly package rather than actually providing a quality service or explaining anything. I left feeling confused, like what did I just pay for? It did not feel like a legitimate experience. I did leave a $10 tip, but only because the person who performed the service was pregnant and I felt bad--not because the service itself warranted it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Only after arriving was I told my appointment had been canceled because of an internal policy related to services I received three weeks prior. This issue should have been identified and communicated before my appointment time -- not after I had already taken the time to come in.if I had canceled the same day, I would have been charged a $25 fee. read more

I give this location 5 stars for today's visit-- only because the staff from the Scottsdale location were working here today. They are so lovely. However, my overall experience has been highly mixed, so it's 3. I would have rated this location 1-2 stars just 6 months ago. The Scottsdale location's customer service and professionalism really saved my business with them. Just understand this is the same company, different locations, and I've had drastically different experiences at the 2 places. Full disclosure, in the past with the regular front desk staff at this location I've had issues communicating with and I almost cancelled my subscription until I realized I could do my treatments at the Scottsdale Quarter location. I have them rated as 5 stars in Yelp. I go there usually for monthly treatments even though it's farther away from my house. I will rate this location right down the middle due to the mixed experiences here. Today's visit was great. The nurse giving my resurfacing treatment was fantastic and the front desk staff were wonderful. If I have to come back to this location and it's unpleasant or unprofessional with the front desk staff, in any way, I will update my review. ** Just be very aware that you cannot be late at all, they will turn you away. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are, they are strict about this. It creates a level of tension that I think is unnecessary for an expensive spa treatment. Obviously no one wants to be late, and I strive to get to appointments 5-10 minutes ahead of time. But just know if this happens to you, they will not work with you. I was 8 minutes early to my visit today. They tell people to arrive 10 minutes early for their appointments. In order to make sure you find it easily if you're new coming here-- Park next to Cheesecake Factory and walk towards Love Sac or Tempur-pedic. It's right there. My appointment was for a laser facial was scheduled for 4 PM. I arrived 4:06 I was lost in mall center trying to find the location as it was my first time. I called skin laundry to make them aware that I was here at the center, but I was lost. I was standing in front of the MAC store which way do I go. I was made aware by the receptionist that I was 10 minutes late and it was exactly 10 minutes while we were on the call that I was unable to be seen . Waste of time & money. I get facials regularly, have had laser resurfacing & take really good care of my skin. In general, my skin is very nice & most of my treatments are just maintenance. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like someone was trying to sell me a car. The suggestions they made on what I needed to have done to my face, you would've thought that I look like a sloth from the goonies. They tell you to arrive 10 minutes early and the address they provided leads you to the opposite side of them. I get there early and I'm lost I call at 1058am to get help, she gives me the directions to lead me to them. Knowing I will now be there after 11 she made no mention of having to cancel my appointment. I walk in 6 minutes late and she tells me she can't service me. I'm not from here so even arriving early I was still lost since they have no name on the street facing side. I would have rather she told me on the phone instead of acting like I still had time instead of letting me drive over and dismiss me. They have a poor practice in customer service. Then they sent me a notice that they will be charging me $25 knowing I was there but lost. If you knew at that time it would take longer than 2 minutes you should have canceled me then. Well... I went to Skin Laundry with too high expectations. My total experience felt like I wen to go look for a car Those people are nothing but salesmen!!! From the point I walked in to the point I was getting the procedure I didnt get no words in cause they do nothing but sale the packages !!!!! All I know is I left after my 15 min facial not impressed at all. 15 min for $250 not to mention the breakouts I got afterwards ... leave to them that's my skin purging .. If they just spent 3 min building report this would have changed my mind ..... And most importantly it could just be the location . . It was nothing like how Tik Tok made it seem . Lol read more
