First-time client here--I've never had a laser facial before and decided to try it since they were running a $50 promotion. I even called the day before to confirm because my confirmation email said it would be a 15-minute laser facial, and I wanted to make sure it was a full treatment. I was reassured at the time. I drove 35 minutes to get there, only for the "full laser facial" to last about 2 minutes. It was honestly shocking and very disappointing. The entire time, both people I interacted with were focused on trying to sell me their monthly package rather than actually providing a quality service or explaining anything. I left feeling confused, like what did I just pay for? It did not feel like a legitimate experience. I did leave a $10 tip, but only because the person who performed the service was pregnant and I felt bad--not because the service itself warranted it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. Save your time and money. Better off buying face cream. read more

I give this location 5 stars for today's visit-- only because the staff from the Scottsdale location were working here today. They are so lovely. However, my overall experience has been highly mixed, so it's 3. I would have rated this location 1-2 stars just 6 months ago. The Scottsdale location's customer service and professionalism really saved my business with them. Just understand this is the same company, different locations, and I've had drastically different experiences at the 2 places. Full disclosure, in the past with the regular front desk staff at this location I've had issues communicating with and I almost cancelled my subscription until I realized I could do my treatments at the Scottsdale Quarter location. I have them rated as 5 stars in Yelp. I go there usually for monthly treatments even though it's farther away from my house. I will rate this location right down the middle due to the mixed experiences here. Today's visit was great. The nurse giving my resurfacing treatment was fantastic and the front desk staff were wonderful. If I have to come back to this location and it's unpleasant or unprofessional with the front desk staff, in any way, I will update my review. ** Just be very aware that you cannot be late at all, they will turn you away. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are, they are strict about this. It creates a level of tension that I think is unnecessary for an expensive spa treatment. Obviously no one wants to be late, and I strive to get to appointments 5-10 minutes ahead of time. But just know if this happens to you, they will not work with you. I was 8 minutes early to my visit today. They tell people to arrive 10 minutes early for their appointments. In order to make sure you find it easily if you're new coming here-- Park next to Cheesecake Factory and walk towards Love Sac or Tempur-pedic. It's right there. ** Update:Have yet to be contacted by the company... VERY DISAPPOINTING** I've been a loyal Skin Laundry client and have always held the company to the highest standard. The staff and nurses have consistently provided outstanding service, which is why today's experience was so shocking. My appointment was moved to an earlier time without my knowledge. I called to have it moved back, and I was told it had been. When I arrived at the time I had confirmed, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled. The new manager, Lily, insisted that she had spoken to me and sent me messages notifying me of the cancellation. Neither of those claims was true, and I have records showing I never received any calls or messages. The interaction became increasingly unprofessional. Lily then suggested she "must have talked to the wrong Heather." She kept insisting she spoke to me. She then played a recording of our earlier phone conversation, but the recording conveniently cut off right before the part where she confirmed my appointment had been moved back and failed to mention that the location had changed. She falsified documentation and communication showing she had contacted me of cancellation. Although I was understandably frustrated, I remained calm and respectful throughout the entire interaction. Despite that, Lily repeatedly accused me of yelling at her, which simply did not happen. If there is surveillance with audio, it would confirm that I maintained my composure while she became defensive and combative. Being treated as though I was lying and having my concerns dismissed felt incredibly disrespectful. Lily's behavior was absolutely disgusting and does not reflect the level of professionalism I have always associated with Skin Laundry. I will never return to the Biltmore location and will be contacting the corporate office to share my experience. If you're considering Skin Laundry, I still highly recommend their services overall, but I would strongly encourage you to visit the Scottsdale location instead. The difference in professionalism and customer service between the two locations is night and day. This treatment is not for all skin types and its definitely not for mine. I have been going for 3 months because I made the horrible mistake of subscribing and I can't get out of it yet. I have not seen any difference in my skin and the price is not worth it. It would be more worthwhile to do microneedling with PDRN and the neck! you will pay less and get better results and you could even get a chemical peel all for less than this subscription. I used to be very excited to go to my monthly facials before I tried this and now I dread going. One red flag I should not have ignored is that I have never actually seen anyone recommend this other than ads. I do the treatments that come with the 4 month plan and includes resurfacing facial. My skin feels so gross after for a week even though I added the PDRN for extra cost each time. I just would not recommend this to anyone. I was shown before and after pictures which confirmed there is no difference or progress. I was told conflicting things to fit their narrative by various employees such as this is not like microneedling but at the beginning they described it as similar to microneedling with slower results. I was also told I don't normally do the resurfacing which is what would get me the results I am looking for but that is exactly what I have been doing 3 of the 5 times I have been. The manager lily offered to throw some stuff in (on the phone) that I had already paid for then offered products but in person made no mention of that and continued to push for the power duo, which I do not believe my skin can handle. Rather than feeling like we were looking for a solution it felt like they were just trying to keep me paying for the subscription. Many times she said we hope to continue seeing you coming which felt incredibly tone deaf. Only after arriving was I told my appointment had been canceled because of an internal policy related to services I received three weeks prior. This issue should have been identified and communicated before my appointment time -- not after I had already taken the time to come in.if I had canceled the same day, I would have been charged a $25 fee. read more

Waste of time & money. I get facials regularly, have had laser resurfacing & take really good care of my skin. In general, my skin is very nice & most of my treatments are just maintenance. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like someone was trying to sell me a car. The suggestions they made on what I needed to have done to my face, you would've thought that I look like a sloth from the goonies. Well... I went to Skin Laundry with too high expectations. My total experience felt like I wen to go look for a car Those people are nothing but salesmen!!! From the point I walked in to the point I was getting the procedure I didnt get no words in cause they do nothing but sale the packages !!!!! All I know is I left after my 15 min facial not impressed at all. 15 min for $250 not to mention the breakouts I got afterwards ... leave to them that's my skin purging .. They tell you to arrive 10 minutes early and the address they provided leads you to the opposite side of them. I get there early and I'm lost I call at 1058am to get help, she gives me the directions to lead me to them. Knowing I will now be there after 11 she made no mention of having to cancel my appointment. I walk in 6 minutes late and she tells me she can't service me. I'm not from here so even arriving early I was still lost since they have no name on the street facing side. I would have rather she told me on the phone instead of acting like I still had time instead of letting me drive over and dismiss me. They have a poor practice in customer service. Then they sent me a notice that they will be charging me $25 knowing I was there but lost. If you knew at that time it would take longer than 2 minutes you should have canceled me then.
