Unfortunately this salon was not all it was hyped to be for me. I came in as a walk in, and was a bit disappointed when other walk ins were taken before myself. I got a gel pedicure and a new set of acrylic nails, the woman who did my nails was very kind and the overall application was okay, the sides of my nails are breaking off in such an odd way that has never happened before so I'm not sure what's going on with that. The most prominent issue for me was my pedicure. Not only did she not use sterile tools, she gave me the wrong color and when I got home I noticed a crazy amount of lint in the polish??? I don't have very sensitive feet but she managed to hurt my toes pretty bad however the massage left SO much to be desired. It was almost like she was just tapping my skin. I went in for a basic pedicure, and the service felt rushed from start to finish. For $38, I expected much more than what was provided. The massage was very underwhelming and lasted only about three minutes, with the technician timing it closely. Although she asked if I wanted a callus treatment and I declined, the standard service itself consisted of a very quick scrub with little effort. The technician was very nice and polite, and I don't blame her personally--I assume she was following the salon's standard procedure. However, I arrived at 12:35, and by 12:50 the massage portion was already over. 12:55 painting and the pedicure done in less than 30 minutes. Just wow- i have been to many salons and always lasted 45 minutes to an hour. Such regret for selecting this salon. The overall experience felt like the bare minimum rather than a relaxing pedicure. I honestly didn't feel like tipping but felt obligated to. When she was finished she just walked away no bye, sorry I just tried to file gel polish off your skin.. nothing. Pretty disappointed. The girls at the front are very unwelcoming as well, seemed like they didn't want to be there and were inconvenienced with dirty looks because they had to check me out because I interrupted their conversation. I received the worst manicure that I have ever gotten at this place the other day. It was my first time here, and I don't plan to go back. My gel is uneven, over half of my nails are cured with bits of raised gunk on them, the polish ended up all over my cuticles and skin, and the lady hacked away at my nails with the file so much that my skin went raw. I was cooking with jalapeños the night I got them done, and over half of my fingers were burning due to the open sores. I want to go somewhere to fix it, but my fingers are so sore I don't want anyone touching them. This needs to be fixed if you want repeat customers. The one saving grace is John. That is why I gave this place a 2 instead of one star. Give that man a raise!! I'd come back just to get a pedicure by him. 11/10 on his pedicure. Everyone needs to get a pedicure by John. I asked for a regular pedicure with regular polish and a gel manicure. My nail tech, Anna, kept on pushing me to get a more expensive pedicure. I must've been asked at least 3 times if I was getting a gel pedicure. Had to reiterate that I wanted a regular polish pedicure. At this point I realize that she seemed to be annoyed that I was getting a very basic pedicure. She barely scrubbed my feet, the leg "massage" was almost laughable .. she set a timer and lightly rubbed some lotion up and down my legs (awkward). She also put the nail polish on sooo fast that I was wondering what the difference between this and a nail polish change/ express pedicure would be. I'm all for fast but this was an overpriced nail polish change honestly. She also did my gel manicure. She didn't ask what shape I wanted or how long or short I wanted my nails, she just started filing away with barely any questions. After going home and seeing the work up close. My thumbnail had bubbles, excess acrylic still hanging off the nail, and the tech never even applied a top coat during my first visit, so the paint (all ONE coat) was rubbing off just a few days later. I called and said I wanted a refund because I paid $100 just to walk out with this "quality". I went back in today, hoping to either get them actually fixed or a refund. She sanded two of my nails and added top coat to just two of my nails. Unfortunately I do not recommend this salon. I walked out almost in tears because as much as I hate complaining, this was a waste of money when all I wanted to do was treat myself a little bit. I want my money back.
