I still have clear polish left on my skin, my nails are bumpy and streaky, and the white polish looks uneven. I've gotten white nails before many times, and they've never looked like this. The polish has already chipped in multiple places, and some sides of the nails barely even have polish on them. Within a single day my gel manicure was already lifting at the cuticle. Within a week, chipping and lifting on multiple nails. This was a gel manicure so I expected it to last much longer. She really rushed the manicure and massage was just rubbing oil on, this is typically the difference between a full set and mani. I don't have time to constantly run back and forth to the nail salon so this is just irritating. I'm not sure if the product they're using isn't good quality any more or what it is but we had 3 different colors so it isn't just one product lacking. Both of my daughters normally get gel polish. Some times we have one or two come off after two weeks which is expected but my youngest daughter's gel polish fully pealed off of one toe nail the next day. There was also a misunderstanding with the pricing. We normally just do gel polish for $15, no pedicure. This time they asked if we wanted just to go ahead and get a pedicure, we've done this in the past at other places but some charge more than others so I verify prior. One worker said oh just $20, I clarified that we will be doing gel and said yes $20. I reiterated that we would be doing gel so I asked again, the $20 is for gel pedicure and she said yes. So I figured they may be running some sort of promotion this time. Wrong. We get to check out and I'm being charged $35 per child. I explained I asked more than once and reiterated that this was for gel and a pedicure and worker confirmed. After being a little more stern I explained that worker may have misunderstood but I wouldn't be paying an extra cost since I made multiple efforts to clarify. She then said they would offer a discount, it's not a discount when that was the price agreed but okay. I'm just very disappointed with the way their quality has deteriorated.

Unfortunately, over time, the quality of service has significantly declined. On multiple occasions, my acrylic overlay was not fully cured, and once, the overlay started peeling off my nail. The same issue occurred with my toes, where the gel polish wasn't fully cured. Although they tried to fix it, the problems persisted. Most recently, my acrylic overlay began lifting again, and instead of properly fixing it, the technician filed down my natural nail and applied gel on top, claiming it would help. Unfortunately, this only resulted in my nail breaking -- and it was a nail I had been growing out for a long time. My nails take a long time to grow, so I was very upset by this. To make matters worse, they also over-filed my nails to the point where I now experience pain and am unable to get them done. After several calls to inform them of my issues, they did attempt to make repairs, but the solutions didn't resolve the problems, and it became repetitive to keep asking for fixes. I also want to mention that after I raised concerns, the staff didn't seem happy about the feedback, which made me uncomfortable. This negatively impacted my overall experience. I spoke with the owner a couple of times, and while she encouraged me to return and give them another chance, I've reached the point where I feel it's no longer worth it. This last visit was the final straw. I even told the technician that if they needed to take a different approach to ensure my nails would last, they should have communicated that with me. The technician applied layer after layer of polish without allowing proper drying time, which caused it to smear. I followed the instructions and waited the recommended 10 minutes. By the time I got to my car, my first big toe had already smeared. I decided to leave it alone, went home, and sat through an entire movie. After that, when I got up, my second big toe had smeared as well. I had to return to get it fixed, which should not happen after spending that kind of money. Although a different technician corrected it and took her time, that level of care should have been there from the start. I appreciate that it was fixed, but at the same time, I paid for a completed service the first time. I understand this is a business and there's a desire to move quickly and accommodate as many customers as possible, but long term success comes from making each client feel valued. Rushing through services to get to the next person creates a poor experience and impacts quality. I also did not appreciate being pushed to upgrade to gel when I had already decided on what I wanted.
