the writer who worked on my cover letter put a lot of effort into it, and delivered it early. but unfortunately, it just didn't work out. the first two drafts looked as though lines from my resume or notes had been copied and pasted into the letter, and they didn't really have a clear structure or flow well. there was also a problem with terminology being used incorrectly. i had to spend more time editing the first two drafts than i would have spent writing my own letter. the final draft was better, but had some of the same problems. i couldn't use it, and had run out of time to write a new cover letter for the application, which was due the next morning. :( read more
