Happy to have tried this place. You fill out the form, pay and they make the bowl for you. This was a great spot compared to the last pokè place I had. I want to return to try different combinations but this was absolutely delicious and filling.

Mix 2- with tuna and salmon, brown rice, radishes, corn, edamame, jalapeño, fish eggs, spring mix, sesame seeds, wasabi.

Great poke a step above many others in the area. The portions are consistently good. Sushi is fresh. Choices of mix-ins are on par with other restaurants (though I'd like to see broccoli, and other healthy greens as options where the seaweed and crab salad are listed). I ordered the choice of two proteins. The flavors are balanced, and the fish is fresh. There's a variety of dressings/sauces available. You get your choice of one, which includes clearly notated gluten-free options. I absolutely enjoyed the tuna and salmon. Looking forward to ordering again!

Thinking back to my recent Philly trip, I really enjoyed the poke from Red Poke Express. Good portion, fresh fish, lots of mix-ins to choose from. My only negative was how long we waited for our takeout (it's takeout only) and had to stand outside with little communication from the biz, but I think that's more of a no-contact decision than anything else. Over all, a solid poke spot I would return to!

Missing Hawaii and was craving poke, so we decided to get some from Red Poke Express, since the reviews look promising. This was our first time ordering from Red Poke Express, and our expectations were adjusted, because mainland poke just isn't going to be as good. When we first saw the takeout container it looked small, but once we started digging in, we realized how big the portions actually were. Overall, Red Poke Express exceeded expectations. The raw fish was fresh and cut up in nice medium chunks. For the price, quality and portions, this was pretty great. This will be our choice spot for poke for now. The sauces were okay, but so is the sauce everywhere else.

Great portion. Love the "make your own" poke option. I opt for the 2 protein, which in my option is plenty with the brown rice base. There are a ton of mix-ins, sauce, toppings and crunch to choose from and they are generous with the amount that you pay for. It was filled to the max and enjoyed it nearby. Def will come back if In the area.

Had the Rainbow Bowl and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the fish tasted. At first, I underestimated the size of the bowl, but I was full afterwards. The pineapple though, gave it an interesting taste. Seemed out of place so next time, would order that on the side, if possible. Used Doordash as the delivery method, and it was an disorganized experience that caused an hour and a half of a delay.

So happy to find a great poke place within walking distance! This is one of the better poke I've had. We built our own bowl with Scottish Salmon, white rice, edamame, seaweed salad, masago, mangoes (amazingly sweet), pickled ginger, radish, cucumber, red onions, and spicy mayo. Delicious, fresh and really filling. Also, the owner and her 10 year old daughter were super sweet. I'm going to be getting a lot of poke delivered home:)

Really good poke for the price! Everything is always fresh and big portion imo. The staff is always super kind as well!

If you love Poke come here!!! I got the build your own bowl and it was delicious. Everything was fresh, especially the tomatoes. The service was great, the restroom was clean and the location is nice as well! 10/10 recommend, I'll definitely be coming here sooner than later.

Very fresh poke. I had build my own bowl with greens but don't expect much of it. I asked my miso dressing to be put on the side for my to go. I couldn't find it after I left the store. Either they forgot or it's mixed in. When you build your own, you check mark the ingredients that you want. You can double or triple it to meet your limits. The staff is really helpful in explaining the ingredient that you aren't familiar. Don't skip the seaweed. It's fresh and really good. Perfect complement to my poke. There are some seats available for dine in

We chose the build your own bowl option. Big eye tune and tofu for proteins. Mango, seaweed, edamame, red onion, cucumber in their classic sauce. Flavors of ginger, garlic and cilantro made the ingredients sing. What a great find. And all for the price of a Hamilton.

I'm not a *huge* raw fish / seafood person but my fiance is so I agreed to try their Phoenix ( chicken) poke bowl, and am so glad I did! It tasted SO fresh. All of the ingredients complimented one another so well - (chicken,Cucumber,Red Onion,Edamame, mushroom, cilantro, classic shoyu sauce, green onion, sesame seeds on top of rice) Plus it was less than $10 and enough for 2 meals! I did ask for the spicy sauce and think I received the regular sauce, but am not positive on that since this was my first poke experience. My fiance built his own bowl with salmon, tuna, and various veggies and was equally impressed with his meal. We ordered delivery and it came on time with no issues! Can't wait to try more bowls from here!

The salad was okay. A heaping serving of crab, with half an avocado on top and served on a bed of lettuce. So not the most complex of flavors, but it was fine. The margarita was a tad on the sweet side for me. The service was excellent. My server was friendly and attentive. He gave me a few recommendations for how to spend my time in Philly and was prompt with taking my order as well as bringing out the food (but given my description of my salad above, I would expect it to be easy prep and quick to come out). The ambiance was very nice. The hostess sat me at a window seat right next to the water. The view was gorgeous and a perfect solo lunch where I got to read my book and await for the wedding festivities. If I didn't stay at the hotel, I probably would not have gone out of my way to eat here, but it's a good option to have for vibes and drinks.

Great phone voice, by the way. We walked to the restaurant during the purported "heat dome" weekend. Fortunately, the air conditioning is pristine. We sat at the oyster bar and recommend you do so too. Our waiter was great. We should have caught his name but didn't. Either way, he was a real one. P spotted some absolute babe across the bar and asked our waiter what she was drinking. Important side note: attractive people dine here, but not in an intimidating way if you're a normie. Turns out it was a mocktail from the Zero Proof menu. We don't judge. Our waiter then turned us on to an OG move: order a mocktail and add booze. P got the Pink Drink and added vodka. J ordered a Bee's Knees and a Firing Squad. All above average. Anyway, we created an oyster flight and got two of each, working our way across the Eastern Seaboard. The house sauce was fantastic and incorporated some sort of onion and horseradish combination. We don't pretend to understand what that sorcery was, but keep doing it. Create your own GD oyster flight. You won't regret it. We also ordered some shrimp cocktail and shared the lobster roll sandwich. We forgot to take pics, but the generic photo attached is actually how it looks. Not a bad bite. This was the perfect amount of food for two hungover people who took IR Adderall before the walk. We lingered for a while and they don't push you out. Ended up ordering a couple IPAs. They started shucking oysters to prepare for the dinner crowd, which is neat to watch when you're on the spectrum like us. Also, the walls are covered in different oyster plates. We spent about 20 minutes discussing which one was our favorite. We landed on a green one. It's a real vibe lifter of a joint. Brought us back to life. 10/10.

Unfortunately, the service is what really brought the rating down. For a restaurant where you're spending around $50 per person, I expected much better service. My glass stayed empty for long periods of time, and it took forever just to get our waitress to come back to the table. I was dressed in sports gear since I'm visiting from out of town, and I couldn't help but feel like maybe we were judged based on how we were dressed instead of being given the same level of service as everyone else. I can't say for sure that was the case, but that's how the experience made me feel. The oysters were great, but when you're paying these prices, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, it didn't during my visit.

We chose the $45 A Taste of Positano menu. I went with the Meatballs & Ricotta, which were tender, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of sauce. My cousin ordered the Spicy Fried Calamari and apparently has a much higher spice tolerance than I do because she ate it like it wasn't spicy at all! We both ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, and this was the standout dish for me. The short rib and steak ragù was rich, meaty, flavorful, and topped with just enough Parmigiano. It was also HEAVY -- I couldn't finish it, which says a lot because the portion was from the tasting menu. I'm honestly curious what the full-size entrée looks like! We finished with the Tiramisu, which was wonderfully classic. The cocktails were another adventure. Millions of Peaches was STRONG, The Process tasted like sparkling fruit punch and ended up being my favorite, and Hot Girl Summer had a sneaky habanero kick on the backend. Our waiter was great and even told us to ask for him when we return because he'd take care of our first round of drinks. That's the kind of personal touch that makes you want to come back.
