My partner and I couldn't eat two of the three dishes we ordered at the restaurant this evening. We started with some bread - I smothered a few slices in olive oil. We ordered the Caesar Salad first - you can see from the attached picture, it doesn't look that good - it's mostly 'white' Romaine lettuce - not sure where the green part was!! I tasted the salad and almost had to remove the lettuce from my mouth! It was so bitter - sour - an overwhelming acidic taste - it appeared to be too much lemon juice. We couldn't figure it out - we returned the salad. We ordered a side of meatballs next in a marinara sauce. They tasted fine and were tender - the marinara was good as well. Next up, we shared the seafood special of the night - Linguini Pescatore - pasta with mussels, calamari and shrimp. The dish came - we both tasted the pasta and came to the same conclusion - over salted to a degree which I've never experienced. I took another taste as it was hard to believe there was that much sodium in this dish. It was inedible - I tasted a shrimp - same overwhelming salty taste. I thought it must be the white sauce as everything in that bowl had absorbed it. We left two dishes uneaten - I notice a patron behind me whose partner had pasta with red sauce - completely clean plate - while his partner left her dish full of pasta with white sauce. My guess, the tomato based marinara was fine, but the white sauce wasn't. It's hard to believe the chef cooking those sauces would serve something laden with so much salt - I'm hopeful it was a mistake. However, the Caesar Salad was also horrible - my guess - it's a hit or miss restaurant. One which I'll avoid in the future.

Scampi offered two seatings on the evening we visited (Saturday) and we selected the 8:00 PM. A deposit is required to hold your space. The restaurant is small and intimate, and we enjoyed the group atmosphere and dynamic. Our dinner featured cuisine from Emilia Romagna (Northern Italy). Head Chef and owner Liz dazzled us with extraordinary dishes, bursting with flavor, and all pasta-forward. She addressed the group a few times to explain the dishes we were enjoying. She was funny and humble. Not someone who revels in being in the spotlight. This made us love her even more! Service was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I ordered the pepperoni pizza, the octopus, arancini and doughnuts. The pizza was delicious. I loved the pepperoni and the wood oven crust. Thin and perfect. The octopus was really good with the fingerling potatoes and the fennel salsa it was on. Different but really tasty. The octopus was tender. The arrancini was just ok. I wished I'd ask for the sauce on the side because they became soggy. A nice meal ended with the doughnuts and Nutella. I'll be back to dine in.

The pizza was perfectly cooked with a great balance of flavors, and you can tell it's made with quality ingredients. Everything came out fresh and tasted just as good as it looked. It's the kind of place where every bite leaves you wanting more. The location is also a huge plus. It's right near so many major attractions, which made it super convenient for us to stop in and enjoy a great meal while exploring the city, especially during Easter weekend. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience for me and my family. We'll definitely be coming back to Pizzeria Stella every time we visit Philadelphia from here on out.

They had a mix of indoor and outdoor seating with very vibrant blue and yellow decor throughout the restaurant and in the plating as well. Our server was very helpful and made small talk with us throughout ordering and checking in. Lavender Arnold Palmer and Cucumber Mojito - Started out with two drinks. Both were very refreshing and light which helped cut through the heavier dishes we were eating. Calamari Alla Griglia - I love grilled calamari but this portion wasn't too big. It was soft and had a nice chewy texture. It had a strong peppery, grilled taste and leaned more on the sour side even without the lemon added. Linguine Diavolo - This was spicier than I expected but the tomato sauce had depth and flavor. It was piping hot and the pasta had a great texture. I do wish they had more shrimp in the dish as the ratio was a bit off. My sister ordered the lamb rack which came with creamy mashed potatoes and a nice pesto sauce. A great place for a fancier meal and take a walk to the waterfront with some pretty views.

I love this European feel. Up first, I had a $17 El Noe. I was hoping for a strong burnt mezcal taste, but nope. It seems like only Florida gets this drink right. The drink wasn't bad at all, but I was just looking for that burnt taste. I also had a $18 Dirty Pasta Water Martini, basically a dirty martini. It was fine, but it came in a micro grass which was kind of weird. Clearly this isn't a place you come for cocktails. Now, onto the star of the night, the food. Up first, the $16 Spring Salad. Loved it, hit the spot. Also, had the $17 Arancini. I really liked those little balls and especially the dipping sauce. I had the $26 Rigatoni. It was absolutely phenomenal. I could go eat it every day. My mom had the $24 Tonnarelli and it was also top tier excellent. The flavors, the atmosphere, the staff, everything here is top notch. The Internet did not let me down. I'm so glad I decided to book this restaurant. I had a wonderful night.

The antipasti we chose the crudo was not my style of sashimi pairing. They added a fish with something even more oily/heavy so it just made everything heavy and not light and fresh which I prefer. The rigatoni honestly was way too salty for my taste. With the focaccia that's mid...it was less salty. The rumps seasonal pasta was delicious and fresh tasting! The service however is amazing and the server gave the great rec of the seasonal rumps pasta!
