The service is excellent! I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Red Rabbit and the service was amazing every time. Like another review said, I also never saw the bottom of my glass and our food came super fast! While I love the decor and service, I think some of their dishes are hit and miss. The dinner salad that came with my pasta was fresh (which is not always the case in Rexburg), the pesto penne is delicious, the Rexburg omelette did not disappoint, the fries are perfectly crispy, and the homemade salad dressing and fry sauce are a must try. However, the biscuits and gravy my husband ordered that I tried were extremely bland as was the Philly Cheesesteak I had when I ate lunch there. The Philly Cheesesteak was also dry and could benefit from some melty provolone in addition to the cream cheese spread. Ordered the provolone avocado burger and pesto chicken penne. All were very tasty. Nice, soft, fresh ciabatta on the hamburger. Had the lava cake for dessert, not disappointing. The service was rough. Stood at the door where 5 employees never greeted us. Confusion over who was serving drinks and who had put in orders. Confusion with the tablet. Everything is drowned in garlic, not a place to take a date if you trying to get some action. We went here for my husband's birthday and were pleasantly surprised! Neither one of us had heard much about this place, and the previous YELP reviews did not make it seem too appealing. I ordered the honey butter chicken sandwich with a side of fries! It was amazing! My husband got the chicken fried steak with a salad and sweet potato fries. We both agreed that mine was better. Such a cute atmosphere to the place, it's a shame that with COVID -19 we can't dine in, but I will be sure to be back as soon as possible! The wait time was ridiculous snd with how long it was, we figured the food must be good here. Well, it wasn't. I heard that their fries were good so I got the sweet potato fries, my husband got the regular, and the other person we were with got the sidewinder fries. Sweet potato ones were delicious, especially with their fry sauce. Regular ones were below decent. Sidewinder ones were gross. I got the honey crisp chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed at all. My husband got the bacon cheddar burger and he didn't finish it because he said it tasted like a cheap Sam's club frozen patty. Our family got a steak salad and fish n chips and they didn't finish their meals either and one said they wished they would've got Alfredo because it probably would've been better. The lemonade was definitely not real lemonade, it was like that Minute Maid soda kind. My husband got mango at first which was ok?? I guess. And then he got vanilla which almost made me lose the parts of dinner that I did it. Everything on their menu looked sooo good so it was really disappointing that it was very not good. They are not taking Covid restrictions here seriously. There was definitely a server that was sick (coughing, sniffling) when we visited. We found out later that a server (not sure if it's the same one or different) got tested for Covid and the management still made her come to work while she waited for her results. They just told her to "wear her mask". She tested positive a few days later and had worked three shifts while sick, per manager request and against her will. If they are understaffed that's their own problem, not the problem of their SICK employees during a PANDEMIC. What poor management. It's literally so irresponsible and I will also be reporting this to the health department. Not to mention the manager (I think his name was Jacob?) was pretty rude to us while we were there. We could also hear him berating an employee very loudly in the kitchen. How disrespectful and unprofessional. And the food wasn't even that good. Needless to say, we won't be returning. read more

Been there twice now and it's not what I was was expecting. The servers are super nice, however the prices are up there compared to the portions and subpar meals. I was excited to learn they had flat irons stakes, it's by far the best cut off beef in my opinion. The first time it was great. Second time is looked and tasted like beef jerky and I couldn't finish it. The other factor for 2 stars comes from the first time I tried to eat there. I called in on a Friday night at 730 and asked what time they close. The employee said they were full, I repeated myself 2 more times and she kept saying they were full.
