Their dining area is perfect for a quick bite, they sell merchandise and home made desserts, in fact most of their food is homemade. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was I thought the pulled pork was dry and unseasoned. They have a variety of sauces at the table to try. Dave's is definitely a solid choice if looking for BBQ close to the beach.

I was pleasantly surprised at how efficient everything was. I was in and out much faster than expected. While putting my order together, the man helping me handed me a sample rib over the counter. I am a very socially awkward person and do not handle unexpected moments very gracefully, so I probably reacted a little awkwardly. That part was on me. The rib was GOOD though. He was very kind about my reaction and even handed me a napkin. The whole staff was friendly, asking how my week was going and checking in to make sure everyone was happy. Even though it was busy, they clearly care about customer service. The food was great. The garlic and green onion sausage had so much flavor, and the bananamisu was the perfect sweet finish. I originally went in hoping to order the BBQ oxtail, but they were sold out within two hours of opening, which honestly says a lot about how good they must be. I had also gone the day before around 7 PM and they had already closed because they were sold out for the day. Just a heads up that they do close early if they run out of food. Overall, great food, friendly staff, and quick service. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will finally catch the oxtail next time.
