I wanted another estimate so I got the thermostat but not the other work done. They confirmed the "white wire" AZ Perfect Comfort had pointed to wasn't even connected to anything. I am relieved I didn't pay AZ Perfect Comfort $240 to "fix" a non-existent problem. When I requested a refund for their $99.95 diagnostic fee, they refused, so I have disputed the charge with my bank. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Came back to us and let us know the unit was 16 years old! He explained in detail what repairs needed to be made and what that would cost in relation to a new unit. He even personally called the home warranty company to negotiate the buy-out price on our behalf right on site. We discussed financing options (they have a few). We ultimately decided to replace the entire unit. The installation team came out at 6:30 am, just 48 hours after making our decision. Brian and Oscar were so polite and professional. Once the new unit was installed, they came in and even fixed our thermostat mounting that had come loose. Shortly after the new unit was running...it quit. They came in to tell us the bad news, BUT they had a new unit on the way, and they stayed on-site the entire time. The new unit arrived and was installed quickly. Luxury's assessment was essentially the same as P&S: low on refrigerant, don't know where the leak is exactly. P&S's quote was MORE THAN DOUBLE what Luxury charged me.
