Just wanted to show what a waste of money this manicure was at this salon. She did the white tips as quickly as possible, and then put on two coats of clear in a row really fast without drying in between, and then no topcoat. It didn't last at all, and it was the most unfriendly treatment I've ever had at a salon. She sent me to the nail dryer and went in the back and never said goodbye while I thought I was supposed to be waiting for her to come back out. Terrible service. read more

Hey there folks ! I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.. Prices are from the top of their head rather than being posted and consistent. You feel RUSHED and quite uncomfortable as they sit there teng teng teng teng with each other and do not engage with their paying customer! As I was sitting there hoping to get out as soon as possible, I see one of the employees take off her gloves and place them on one of the nail tech tables, and then the other employee walked up to the exact table, grabbed the gloves and put them on to go assist a customer! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww I am 98% sure that they are re-using the bag liners!!! I don't usually leave reviews but I couldn't not for this. My mom is in town visiting and we decided to find somewhere to go to get our nails done. It was us and my best friend and each of us had a uniquely bad experience. My friend and I got full sets and my mom needed a fill. 1. My mom specifically asked for gel polish. Originally she had dip powder on her acrylics. The nail tech said he was going to just file off her dip. She tried to explain that that wouldn't work. 45 minutes later he decided to take off her entire nail and start with a fresh full set because, as she indicated, filing wasn't going to work. He chose to soak off her original nail and physically pry it from her natural nail causing soreness and pain. Then, when she specifically asked for gel polish when the new set was put on, she realized that they were putting regular instead. Rather than completely cleaning her nail and restarting with the correct polish, they just wiped it off and had someone else paint. We are now 2 days later and the polish has all bubbled off and just slid and the layers underneath never cured and bonded to the acrylic. Her nails took damn near 3 hours all to just be destroyed (pic). 2. My best friend asked for a basic color (gold) on an accent nail and they claimed they didn't have it and chose another color for her at random. She does like her nails 3. My nails came out fine except that my nail tech didn't do anything to manage cuticles or skin around my nails. Because of this, I look like I need a fill already and it's only been 2 days. $180 for all of our nails to not be what we wanted at all or poorly done. Steer clear of this place. read more

Nice salon in a small little shopping center. Quiet area and very nice nail techs. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. It was a little pricey to me, $85 (without tip). Maybe because I got different color on my toes? Not sure, but still a little too much for me. Other than that, everything was very pleasant. I got a pedicure 8/10/24. I loved the spa treatment with hot stone and wax treatment. However, while I was waiting for my polish to dry, I looked down and my red polish had black streaks in it; noticeable black streaks. I showed the man that did them and he said he would throw that bottle away and for me to pick another red. He then polished over the previous coats with 2 more coats. He never used toe separators at any point in the pedicure. I had to wait extra long for all the coats to dry. They never really did. I was there in total 2 1/2 hours. When I got home and took off my sandals, I had red polish all over the sides of my middle toes and of course most nails were smudged. 2 hours later I put on another pair of sandals to go out and the polish just pushed back on my big toe as if I had stubbed my toes because, still, after 5 hours, was not dry enough. If that wasn't bad enough, you could still see the black in some of my nails. Of course I googled it because I use red polish often and have never had this happen. But that can happen with red polish when you don't let the previous coat dry. It was done too fast. I called Sun morning at 11 am when they opened, explained the situation to the lady that answered and said that I needed to come in for a new polish but I had no time that day. I asked what time they opened on Mon and the lady said 9:30am. I said I will be there at 9:30am. I got there at 9:30am for my appt and the door was locked. I waited until 9:45 and called; no answer. I left at 9:50am and the door was still locked with noone there. read more

We all got shellac and they rushed through that too, leaving bubbles, painting over cuticles, and poor job of filing so rough edges were left on our nails. Overpriced and poor service. This nail shop lives up to its name paradise nails. I recently got my nails done by Wendy and she was very wonderful and is professional at her job. She delivered in everything I asked of her. I usually get regular full sets around town and dont really enjoy getting them done so I usually just get a manicure and my nails painted. I looked up the store and found the reviews to be solid so I tried getting a full set again and Wendy did an amazing job! 10/10 will be going back for every nail appointment. read more

This is our first time visiting family in Colorado Springs, my wife was in desperate need of some rest and relaxation while here. We stumbled upon Paradise Nails while walking by Safeway, my wife decided to see if she can walk-in and get service right away. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by wonderful Michelle, she was so nice and adorable! Usually nail techs aren't very entertaining and quiet, but Michelle was attentive and kept great conversation between the three of us. It was quite nice getting to know her plus, she also recommended some good places to check out while we are still in town! My wife received a mani and pedi and loved it. It was just the relaxation she needed as she was starting to go insane with the built up stress! Even though I didn't receive any services, I enjoyed talking to Michelle! I've been going to paradise nails for 6 years for pedicures . Since the last change in ownership I have seen a big change in the staff. The technician that I've had past 2 times was rude, acting as though I was putting her out with my questions. Other than having to remind her to put on top coat the pedicure was ok. Customer service is on the top of my list in using local business. I'm going to try another salon next time to see if I can locate a place where I feel welcome. STAY AWAY!! Awful experience. I had tried to stop by Paradise Nails before but passed because they were busy. I finally stopped on a Monday afternoon for a pedicure. The guy started ripping at my toe nails and I kept squirming and I kept telling him to stop because it was extremely painful. Now one of my toes is swollen. I usually go to LV Nails in Briargate but figured I would try this place. Never again and I did not see that they were using clean tools!!!! Also an elderly lady came in and had just received the day before a mani-pedi and told them her finger nail polish was peeling and bubbled they told her it was because she did it use the lacquer which lasts longer. She said she never had that problem before but they were insistent. She also said her feet were still rough from her pedicure- it was obvious her heels were still rough. Same with mine. Horrible place! They have new techs all the time! Don't know what they're doing! My pedicure massage was short. The polish is on my skin.

I got my nails done there last week and they first of all were having a hard time taking off the gel that was already in my hands (20mins). Then I pick out this deep red with just a little bit of sparkle in it and when they got done my finger nails had orange sparkles all over them. The lady told me that's just how the polish is. My friends and I both agreed it was a few shades lighter than showed on the gel board. She continued to argue with me and tell me that they themselves don't make the board and she doesn't know what to tell me. She made me pay the full amount and I left. Didn't even offer to make it right because the customer is always right. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THOSE IGNORANT PEOPLE. La Rue is 1000x times better!!! Polish last longer too. read more

I have been going to Paradise Nails and Spa for over 2 years now. The service used to be great, with friendly staff and ready for me at my appointment time. Unfortunately the salon has gone down hill. Services are rushed, staff is way behind, making me wait for over 25 minutes. The nail polish seems to be of poor quality now as it began to chip on day 2 after my pedi. The last time I went, there were 3 of us, with an appointment. We had to wait over 20 minutes and our Spa Pedis lasted only 25 minutes. I am sad to say that after my last 3 experiences being negative, I will have to find a new nail salon. read more

I have only have gotten pedicures at Paradise nail salon but I highly recommend them. Make sure you have plenty of time when you go because this is a lengthy, amazing pedicure. I went in for a mani/pedi. The man that did my pedi did not do a good job at all. There were 2 other pdeicures being done at the same time as mine. One started before mine and one a few minutes after mine. Mine was done before the either of the others had even started their polish. But what was even more upsetting was that the man doing mine would stop, hold a toe and tell a story. I was hoping to get someone else for the nails, but he put me in his chair, went and told another story while I sat and waited. I got up and said I didn't want the manicure any more, paid the $30. and left. I just got home and bent over to take the toe separators off and I can see dark lines on the sides of my big toes! I pulled the skin away and there's dirt in the fold between my toenail and the skin. Then I checked my toenails and they were never scraped underneath as several of them are not clean either! The females seemed to do a good job... at least it looked like they were working hard and using clippers to get dead skin, etc.... but WOW! If you go there, I hope you do not get the older of the 2 males! read more
