This was a great pizza! It was an unusual style, normal, medium crust with excellent flavor, but cooked in a well oiled rimmed pan. The result was a crunchy crust that seemed fried but was delicious. Somewhat like the crust of a Chicago style pizza. Two of us spit a small "True North" signature pizza (double pepperoni, Maple soaked bacon, Mozzarella, Pizza sauce) and also split a sizable Caesar salad. The flavors were fresh and the Caesar dressing excellent. With wine and/or beer, this was plenty. The beer selection was limited and only bottled and only a house red and white wine. Found this place about a mile from our hotel in Canmore kind of by accident. We were going to hit up another local pizza place, but they close at 9:00, and Red Rock was open until 10:00. Turned out to be a great choice, wish we'd found it earlier in our trip, I would have made multiple trips. Wasn't clear that we had to seat ourselves for dine in, but the small space inside was full, so we went outside to sit and someone came by shortly with menus and to take our drink order. They have a "date night"(?) deal, two small pizzas and a large salad for $30, so we went with that. It was easily the best value we had during our whole week visiting Canada. The large salad was indeed large, and the two "small" pizzas were about 12" in diameter. I got the Wicked Chicken, kind of a buffalo chicken and ranch pizza with pineapple and bacon, my wife got the Margherita pizza, which was a little different thanks to adding balsamic vinaigrette. The Wicked Chicken was a great blend of flavors, creamy, spicy, and sweet, and the Margherita with the balsamic worked well. In short, it's a great value, and great taste, do yourself a favor and get some pizza from this place! read more

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had - really well balanced, light crust (not heavy or greasy), perfect amount of toppings, delicious sauce base. Packed location, so have a back up plan if you were hoping to sit. Fun to sit at the bar and watch all the action - the kitchen team is a well-oiled machine. Too much dough, toppings, and cheese. If soft heavy crust with as much cheese and toppings that can be piled on without falling off, then Red Rock will do it for you. But if you want the authentic Italian number, like you get in Napoli, North Side Boston, or Little Italy in Toronto, you are in for a huge disappointment. Although in Italy they do not use pepperoni, that is what I had here. It was too salty and had no zing and was piled so thick that the salt over powered everything. The cheese is run of the mill factory mozza, not di Bufala nor Fiore di Latte, too chewy. The crust was too heavy and kind of soft in the middle. I do not see Western Canada's fascination for this type of pizza. A good pizza is not judged by how much one can throw on it. It is judged by the quality of the ingredients and construction this did not quite do it for me. However, they did get one thing right. The cheese ALWAYS goes underneath the topping on real pizza. I will try a different establishment each time I go to Canmore until I find something resembling real Italian style pizza. At least I have found this in Calgary. Two stars is generous! read more

I love their pizza. Pizza D-lux is my favourite for me it's the best pizzeria in Canmore for sure.

Ordered online to be delivered, we phoned after an hour to see where our food was as it says you get your food in 35-45 min, finally after an hour and a half our food showed up. Pizza was good, Mac and cheese was really good, ribs weren't great and the caeser salad was good. If you don't mind waiting forever for your food then order from here but if your hungry order from somewhere else, food was good but not that good. read more

This pizza is amazing! I could have eaten it all day! My husband and I were in canmore for our first anniversary this year and decided to enjoy some pizza in our hotel room. We ordered a medium 4 meat pizza online. It took 40 minutes before it was ready for pick-up but totally worth it. Only reason I can't give 5 stars this time is that when my husband went to get the pizza they gave him a small. Our email invoice said medium so I don't know where it went wrong and he didn't want to wait another 40 minutes for another pizza to be made. In the end a small was just enough for the two of us to share, but I would recommend ordering by phone or in person just to be sure there isn't a mix up. read more

This place is 60% food and 40% hype. Staffs are super friendly and they have creative pizza options. But this is not a 5 star pizza place. They are slightly better pizza chains like pizza hot, but nothing really special. I guess it's ok considering it's located in a small ski town... read more
