The waitress made her recommendations. We split 2 pizzas. Hot honey and the meat pizza, the crust was thin which allowed the flavor of the pizza to shine through. It was very good. While we were able to be seated right away which was a huge plus for our family of 8 people, the actual food was just okay. I appreciated the freshness and quality ingredients of the food itself. Service was slow, it took a long time for water refills or to get the food. My salad was tasty but more so just okay. I didn't love the pizza my parents shared, I thought the crust wasn't fully cooked/crisped on the underside. The sauce, in my opinion, was sweet. Stopped in after dog sledding at the recommendation of Snowy Owl and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed the classic flatbread and stroganoff pasta - both were so flavorful! We dropped by after stumbling on this place when looking for somewhere to have lunch. This was a good variety of flat breads and was definitely filling! They're known for their flat breads but also have soup and salad and offer combos with their flatbreads and salad/soup. I think there's a little something for everyone and it's located center-ish of town so it's easy to walk around and take a look after as well! I felt that service was okay but wasn't anything spectacular, but we got our food pretty efficiently. You do need to pay for parking on the street (it was about $3CAD per hour at the time we went) but didn't have a hard time finding a place to park at all. A nice spot for a quick lunch or dinner! We were in and out in just about 45 minutes, and the servers were very nice and quick. The food was very good; I had the Fig, Bison & Brie pizza and I really enjoyed how all of the elements came together. (Pro tip: the Buffalo hot sauce that is on the table is not overly spicy and added a nice and well needed aspect to this dish!) my boyfriend had the bolognese and said it was one of the best he's ever had! The restaurant itself is small so seating is limited, but the decor and the fact that you can see and smell the pizza oven is very cool. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Canmore. Our party had four wood-fired flatbed pizzas: Apple Chicken, The Meats, BBQ Chicken, and a special, the Fig, Bison and Brie pizza. Absolutely fantastic. Stopped in here a birthday lunch with my partner and son. I am really surprised by the bad reviews. We got there around noon so it wasn't too hot, we did however sit close to the patio doors. The place was fully packed. The staff were also super kind considering our LO made a mess. The combination of fig, bison, and brie may cause uncertainty, but once you try it, you'll always want it! We loved the pizza! Having it paired with the bacon pasta was perfecto! We shared this among two people after an all day hiking day at Banff! Ambience (A): Ever been to Hawaii? It reminded us of our home community restaurants in Kakaako! It had a modern feel to the interior design! Lots of families and couples enjoying meals on a Monday evening. Parking (P) : From 8 AM to 8 PM, you have to pay for parking on the street. Since we came late to the restaurant from Lake Moraine, we only paid $1.00 in CAD for 30 minutes of parking before it reached 8 PM for free parking. This is the definition of mediocre pizza/flatbread. Bland all around. I don't care to bash a nice local business, but I have to call it like I see it. We came in starving after some frisbee golf nearby and it was barely edible. Flatbreads/Pizzas: the dough is bland and barely rises when cooking. It doesn't get very crispy on the bottom. The red sauce has no depth of flavor, no sweetness to balance creaminess of the cheese. The mozzarella itself was fine but didn't have outstanding flavor. We ordered 3 pizzas with varying toppings. The Italian sausage had no flavor, there weren't even fennel seeds in the sausage which is the mark of authentic Italian sausage. The caramelized onions had little flavor or sweetness, they were definitely rushed to be cooked since true caramelized obvious should have a deep dark Carmel color and noticeable flavor. The green peppers were fine, you can't screw up fresh green peppers. Garlic sauce was too thick to dip and it was just garlic mixed in with yogurt, not very tasty. The ranch was terrible dipping ranch as well. There's a difference between dipping ranch and salad ranch, dipping is a bit sweeter and runnier, this was not the correct ranch for dipping purposes. Best thing we ate was the salad. Nobody really loved their meal but we were starving so we ate. On top of the weak pizza, they got one of the orders wrong and flies were everywhere. read more

We were passing through here coming from Banff! This restaurant is situated in Canmore, a beautiful and quaint town. Plenty of parking around. Cute little outdoor patio. I must say, everything was amazing and well executed! The garlic sauce with the pesto Asiago was excellent! The cheese that they use on their pizza taste different, in a very delicious way, from the U.S cheese. I don't know what it is, but it's soooo darn delicious! The food was great and I would have given them 4-5 stars if we had gotten at least reasonable service. The service was terrible. Our waitress took our drink order & came back to get our dinner order but we still needed a minute. She did not come back after that. The hostess who seated us ended up taking our dinner order and then we waited. After 45 minutes of waiting I asked about our food (again the hostess was the one we asked because our waitress never appeared again). The table next to us had been seated at the same time as we were. They had finished their dinner and we were still waiting on ours. Our dinner finally came about 15 minutes before the restaurant closed (we had sat down at our table an hour and a half before closing). They apologized for the wait staying it had been crazy that night. Our waitress did not come to the table to drop off our check. Another waiter did instead. Our table ordered a variety of pizzas, including: Hot honey chorizo (stood out to me) - felt like "most honest," of pizzas in one bite, flavors were very forthcoming, in the sense that it was just the right amount of spice from the chilies but also had some bit of savoriness due to the tomatoes being used, as well as the honey. generally, it was a good balance with the veggies via arugula on top rancher applewood baked chicken the meats all pizzas had great variety and a lovely medley of flavors. I called the restaurant to ask specifically about their gluten-free options and they informed me that they use a separate oven from their regular pizzas. Nevertheless, the member of my party who has a gluten intolerance, did not feel well the next day. While I am not able to say it was the pizza, their symptoms were consistent with a gluten "attack". If the restaurant believes they are truly gluten-free friendly, I suggest they "up" their protocols. Otherwise, service was friendly and attentive but the meal was obviously an issue.
