I work…read morein hospitality and understand that dealing with customers can be extremely difficult, but the girls there were flat out rude and unhelpful no matter how polite my friends and I tried to be. While trying to pick an outfit, we were told multiple times that the store was closing and to get in line, up to 25 minutes before the store actually closed. When I asked if I could buy the last of a dress in the store which was on a mannequin, I was told they couldn't do it while just 2 people were working and to come back in 2 hours when there were more employees on the floor. When I did come back, it was still just the 2 of them, and it only took a minute for one girl to get the dress down. The store wasn't busy either time, and it felt like they didn't want to do their jobs. Also, there's a ridiculous policy that certain "special occasion" items are non-returnable (they're marked with tags), which in normal times might make sense, but the dressing rooms are currently closed due to COVID (which also doesn't make sense scientifically, considering it's an airborne disease). The idea that anyone is supposed to drop $40-$80 on something they can't try on in the store, and then can't return if it doesn't look good on them (which is especially important if it is for a "special occasion") is absolutely absurd. This does not make any sense, and the employees not only lack understanding to how ridiculous it is, but are rude about it too. The girl at the register also told me that jewelry is non returnable, which it doesn't say anywhere in the store, and also does not make sense. I love the clothes here but these were 2 of the most stressful shopping experiences I've ever had. Fix the attitudes and ridiculous rules.

    I went to Natick, Massachusetts store to make an online return and had a horrible experience. I…read moremade an online purchase and wanted to return at the store, which should be simple. The store associate of Philippine/Asian ethnicity asked for my receipt. I told her that my package didn't come with a receipt so I pulled out my email receipt on my phone and showed her. She said my package did come with a receipt and she basically accused me of lying. I let it go and showed her the barcode on my phone. She said "if you had the receipt, I wouldn't need to see your phone." Then she had trouble making the return because the tag on the coat didn't have a size code. She said "mango always makes things so difficult and asked if I can ship/return to warehouse." I said no because I physically made the trip to your store to make the return so I would like it to be processed. Then another sales associate of Caucasian decent came and assisted. I suggested to both of them to call their customer service to get that size code. They asked me to do it; I said absolutely not because it's not my responsibility. Your return policy clearly indicated that I can return online purchases at the store. So I told them it is their responsibility to obtain the info needed to process my return. She finally made the call and got the size code to process the return. I don't know why the sales associates are so incompetent that I needed to advise them to call customer service to get the size code. And instead of apologizing to me for making me wait; they told me call their customer service. Throughout the process, my tone was very polite yet the Asian associate was incredibly rude. I asked the other associate for her name and she wouldn't disclose her name. And to make matters even worse, my return didn't get processed! Thank goodness I kept the return receipt she gave me. I contacted customer service and emailed a picture of my receipt to get my return processed.
