Yep, a brewery place. Low-key, appropriate for the area. We enjoyed a few brews and the place is a winner for us. We will be returning.

We also know great service when we see it and always love to give credit where it's deserved! We called ahead with a large team of about 30 people and were told they could get us in. When we arrived, they were very transparent that they were working with a small crew, just two girls out front and one guy in the kitchen. With a group our size, we were a little nervous at first, but we had absolutely nothing to worry about! Zoey was our server and she was amazing. She handled our entire group with so much grace and professionalism. She kept everything organized, made sure the kids' food went in first, stayed on top of drinks and orders, and somehow managed to get all 30 of us taken care of and on our way in great time. The bartender was also incredibly nice and helpful, and together they kept everything running smoothly despite being short-staffed. The food did not disappoint either! The Reuben, burger, and Reuben burger were all fantastic, and of course the boys loved the wings and boneless wings. If you're visiting Cooperstown or heading to the Baseball Hall of Fame, definitely make Cooley's Stone House Tavern one of your stops. Great food, great service, and a hardworking staff that made sure we were taken care of. We'll definitely be back!

Forgot to upgrade chips to fries. Waitress a little harried. The BIG pretzel came out same time as sandwiches. And unstopped it all off with a couple of beers. Just one size glass. We just ordered burgers and fries, but they were fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, and exactly what we needed after a morning of baseball. And Karen was absolutely wonderful! She was the exact opposite of the definition of a "Karen." She was smiling, welcoming, genuinely excited to have us there, and just an absolute joy. Then there was the Long Island Iced Tea. After spending the entire morning at the baseball field and heading into the afternoon, YES, I needed one! Stephan made it, and I have to say, it was probably one of the best Long Island Iced Teas I've ever had. Phenomenal! So, if you're looking for a place in Cooperstown to grab a great meal, have a good drink, and get a little much-needed mental health time after baseball, this is your place! Thank you, Double Day Cafe, for knocking it out of the park! Great food, great drinks, and even better people. We'll definitely be back! If you want a good meal and good drinks in Cooperstown, come here!

We ordered 4 briskets and 2 steaks, all knocked it out of the park. Service was outstanding! Def come for dinner!! Had about a 20 minute wait for a table, not bad at all. Cute restaurant decent service went for breakfast, food was very good. I will say that their coffee is terrible, sorry just terrible cup of coffee. Corn beef cash was delicious ,really good cinnamon bun, nice bloody Mary and mimosa and very good omelette. If they got better coffee, it would be a home run.

If you're visiting the Cooperstown area or anywhere in upstate New York, this is an absolute must-see. We've been coming here for years, and every visit reminds us why it's one of our favorite breweries. The staff is always professional, friendly, and attentive, making the experience enjoyable from the moment you arrive. We live in Texas and were in Cooperstown for a baseball tournament, which gave us another excuse to stop by. I had enjoyed Ommegang's Belgian-style beers for years, but this visit gave me the opportunity to explore more of their lineup. I was impressed by the variety of styles available, and everything I sampled was exceptionally well crafted. The food was excellent as well. The poutine was a standout and tasted every bit as authentic as the poutine I've enjoyed in Canada. It's not always easy to find great food at a brewery, but Ommegang delivers on both fronts. The setting is truly remarkable. Located on a 140-acre former hop farm just outside Cooperstown, the property feels more like a Belgian monastery than a brewery. The beautiful buildings, open spaces, and wooded surroundings create an experience that is worth the trip all by itself. The grounds are impeccably maintained and provide a perfect backdrop for enjoying a pint. Having been open since 1997, it's clear that Brewery Ommegang has had decades to refine both its beer and its operation. Everything feels polished, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Hands down, this is one of the coolest breweries I have ever visited. Great beer, excellent food, fun activities, beautiful scenery, and outstanding service make Brewery Ommegang a place that we look forward to returning to every time we're in the area.

This is a great place to come for friendly conversations and even larger groups. The food is mostly fried and is very flavorful but everything that was cooked was overcooked.
