Animal Tracks is an animal sanctuary for exotic animals and this wildlife rehabilitation center is…read morelocated in Agua Dulce (between Santa Clarita and Palmdale). Each Sunday the center offers guided tours (no walk-ins allowed) and visitors will need to book a session on their website. [Sunday Public Group Experiences & Prices]: It is a 75-minute guided tour that focuses more on education over physical contact. For adult (ages 13+), the price is $49.95 per person + online booking fees. I actually purchased the experience via Groupon with an additional 20% off. [Preparation]: Arrive 10 - 15 minutes early and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, and layers for outdoor conditions. All visitors must complete an online waiver prior to attending. Water, Gatorade, coffee and snacks are available for purchase in the barn. [Parking]: Park as directed upon arrival and I was able to park within the premise of the barn. [Experience]: The tour started at 2 PM and ended at 3:30 PM. Our main guide Stacy was humorous. Each segment of the tour had its own specialist who shared knowledge on specific animals. During the tour, our party was able to see the following animals: horses/donkeys (with an opportunity to feed them lettuce leaves at no extra charge), hybrid wolves (with an opportunity to feed them by throwing food via a small window opening), cockatoos, armadillo, skunk, opossums, pigs, scorpions, porcupines, hedgehog, kangaroos, monkeys (including Tara who was featured in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), sugar gliders (will need to ask the staff to see them), etc. Some animal got some clever pun names like Quillie Eilish (one of porcupines). [Barn]: There is a small gift shop at the barn and visits will also see cats running around the shop. [Conclusion]: The tour was extremely educational and it was quite an eye-opening experience to see these rescued animals. This is a much better visit than The Gentle Barn and the tour from Animal Tracks is the real deal. Highly recommended for any animal lovers. P.S. - Donation box is located within the barn. P.P.S. - Visitors can also take a centerpiece plant on the tables back home for free at the end.

You can tell each staff member has devoted themselves to the care of these animals and it makes my heart so happy. This sanctuary is literally what dreams are made of. I find it really special/important that they don't make any of the animals do tricks, and if an animal does not wish to come out -- they don't have to. I'm so happy with my experience and if you have the means, please check it out.

We planned the entire party around their arrival and had families waiting and excited. What we got was an absolute disaster. There was *zero* real communication about their ETA. When I finally reached the owner, Diana, she told me the animals were already 2 hours behind from another party, which made it obvious they had double booked. The animals didn't show up until **7:15 pm**. By that point, most guests had given up and left, and the kids were heartbroken. The owner refused to speak with us directly even after multiple attempts. I messaged her asking for a phone call, and she simply ignored it. Completely unprofessional. We paid a $150 deposit and ended up with barely 15 minutes of animals. The workers agreed to bring out a pony, an alpaca, a chicken, a rooster, and a goat for 30 minutes, but they rushed through it and didn't stay the full time. My son was exhausted by then and didn't even get to enjoy the experience we had planned months in advance. This company turned what should have been a special day into a stressful, disappointing mess. The lack of professionalism and accountability was shocking. I do not recommend this business to anyone.

It was a colorful mini train with a driver in the engine trailing two train cars with two rows each, just big enough to fit a dozen small children. The kids went nuts for this train. There were too many of them to ride at once, but they took turns for the first few rides until some of them started to get bored and returned to the rest of the party. The remaining die-hards, including my son, kept the train full for the remainder of its contracted time. I think it was there for one hour, and my son was on board for more than 45 minutes. The parking lot was small, and the train had a tight route: two loops followed by a dizzying finale of mini-train donuts. The driver moved fast, swerving and accelerating to delight the children. They were all buckled in, with the driver checking himself before each departure, but it did feel a little bit dicey. I am not shocked that this Yelp page is mostly 5-star reviews, with a smattering of 1-stars due to child endangerment. (There appears to have been an incident in September 2017.) My boy and his friends had a blast, though, and no one was harmed by this hour of Trains on the Move. If you have little thrill seekers and moderate risk tolerance, your kids are guaranteed to love the speedy baby train.

The staff who…read morecome out are on time, friendly, and wonderful with the kids -- everyone always has a great time. My issue isn't with the train or the event day at all, but with the communication and management behind the scenes. After submitting an online inquiry for an upcoming date, I was immediately overwhelmed by the number of follow-ups -- within just a couple of hours, I received at least 7-9 phone calls, six emails, and multiple text messages. I wasn't ignoring anyone; I was simply in a meeting and unable to respond right away. It got so excessive that I eventually texted back asking them to please stop contacting me so much, as I had received all their messages and would respond once I was available. When I did reach out the next day ready to move forward and asked for the payment link, I was met with complete silence. I called twice to follow up and never got a response. This same kind of unbalanced communication happened during my first experience as well -- overly pushy at first, then unresponsive once I was ready to book. Another ongoing issue is their payment policy. They insist on payment in full upfront, which I've told them before I'm not comfortable with. Like most vendors we use, I prefer to pay a deposit to reserve the date and then pay the remaining balance on the day of service. They were not flexible with this, which makes the process unnecessarily stressful. I really wanted to give them another try, assuming my first experience might have been a one-off situation, but unfortunately it seems to be a consistent pattern. Whoever is running their office or handling bookings is highly unprofessional, and it's disappointing because the on-site team and service itself deserve better representation.
