Visited the store today - loved the happy vibe from the front door which continued throughout my visit. This store really is the happiest place you could ever visit - I love being able to look at the toys and decide which piece of happy I can take home to my grandchildren. Although my purchase was small today, I will make sure to stop by again when Im in Seattle next. It's stores like this who boast excellent customer service and gratitude for those who walk through the front door that make me want to continue to support the in-store experience rather than online. read more

Small cute toy store that can be hard fo find now that everyone buys stuff on line. Son enjoyed being able to walk around and look at stuff. It has the standard sort of science toys, cars, puzzles, stuffed animals, books. read more

cute little toy shop in the heart of madison park. i've been here a few times as we love frequenting the coffee shops and the park and beach as well. I've notice that the customer service lacks a bit as there is never a greeting or a thank you for supporting local and the prices are definitely higher than retail stores but that's understandable for being a small shop so aside from the lack of appreciation for customers especially at a time like this - is my real only gripe. It's not the basic run of the mill toy store - but a lot of smaller off brand type toys, not so much mainstream. There's a cute selection of stuff for boys and girls and babies alike. A corner section for books and legos. Some science experiment kits, board games and an array of dolls and glittery items. It's always a must to stop by as again i love supporting local and we always tryin buying one or two items. Wouldn't hesitate for a 5 star review if i felt appreciated as a customer! read more

A wonderfully local store with great variety. We like to support smaller local businesses and Red Wagon provides friendly service. They also do balloons for parties and events. There are aliso some other small businesses and a great bakery nearby. read more

Once my daughter saw the huge Panda, it was over. We had to go in and check it out. We had time to kill because we had to wait 20 mins for a table at the Cactus so we needed to buy some gifts for a baby shower tomorrow. It had great selection of toys to costumes but do not have much selection for new borns. I'm not sure if Red Wagon were enough staff because the person at the sales counter didn't really care to help us and was too busy reading a magazine. My wife couldn't find what she was looking for so we kept looking else where and the staff woman didn't really care if we left...her loss. I will keep them in mind if I need another present for the future but I have to be in the area first. I even have a picture of the staff still reading her magazine. lol read more

After reading several of the reviews before I visited the Red Wagon store, I wasn't sure what to expect in customer service but to my pleasant surprise I had an outstanding experience! Not only was I warmly greeted by the sales person but they attentively helped me put together some last minute party gifts that were desperately needed for kids who have everything. Because of their unique items I was able to find something new and a perfect fit. We stopped in there over the weekend and we're very pleased with the selection of different and unique toys. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the lady that helped us but she was amazing. I really love the ladies who run this place. They are very sweet, attentive and patient with us after multiple trips in to sit on and check out Skuut and Kettler bikes! Been in so often now that each time we come in they cheerfully take the bikes down and let her do her 2.5 year old thing! Great selection of children's books as well. This toy store is the answer to my prayers! This place saved me this christmas as I realized I'd left out a very important little person off my list of those to shop for. I quickly sauntered into Red Wagon and picked up a few choice items for the little one. I'd been in Red Wagon before and delighted in the many toys both modern and retro which made me feel like a kid again. The shop is complete with costume corner, and younger child focused areas. The sales people are knowledgeable and willing to help you find what your looking for or wrap your gift for you. This store compliments madison parks little retail community idealy. read more

This is now my new local place to pick up gifts for kids. I shop local to support local, and used to go to my neighborhood toy stores (Pinocchios, Two Owls, Precocious, then Izilla in Capitol HIll), before they all closed/consolidated. Yes, you can get this stuff cheaper online, but nothing beats great customer service to help you pick out the perfect presents that will actually get used and played with. But if you're looking for cheap plastic stuff made in China, you won't find it here. Free gift wrapping is also a plus. I'll be back soon! read more

It is very difficult to find a small business toy store now a days, but Red wagon screams NON over stimulating big box store. I could see a kids imaginations soar here, as they pick up learning toys, try on dress up costumes, and see all of the books, and games for sale. I appreciated not hearing loud music or obnoxious video games... and just appreciated being present in a quaint toy store, that gift wraps for free. Now this place is a little difficult to get to if you do not live in the city. But definitely worth checking out, and they have ample street parking. Make a day of it, and experience the spirit of entrepreneurs of small businesses and restaurants along the way! read more

Nice selection of eco friendly wooden toys that other local toy store don't offer. I love they have Kettler trikes available already put together in store so I can test. They are usually only available online. The prices are ok similar to what other toys store will sell. The parking is not easy I mean limited if busy time won't find a parking. Or have to park far away. It is a nice cute toy store to visit. Customer service is nice. At first we were ignored as the one person staff had other customers working the register and stocking toys she didn't notice we were waiting to check out for 5 mins. Finally someone in my family had to say something. She came over wasn't too nice at first. After we paid and I asked about Kettler trike. She was busy but she was very nice to explain to me all about it no rush. She did enjoy her work. At times it is hard to be at more than one place multi task. Thank you for taking your time to help us when you have lots to do and being nice. If anyone is quick to judge as we first did we would have not wanted to buy anything there. But if you give and a little time and understand this is a small yet busy shop. It's better than clover toys. read more

This store caught my eye as I walked past on a Monday afternoon and I must say it is a very cute store, in a great location. However, as I walked in I saw one worker who was on the phone (Aaliyah I believe is the name after hearing her answer the phone). She did not stop her phone conversation to greet me, which did not bother me until after she got off of the phone, I STILL did not get greeted. I walked past the worker TWICE (this is a very small store & I was the ONLY customer). She didn't so much as look my way, as she proceeded to sit at the counter on her phone. For such a small store which probably does not get much business on a Monday afternoon, please work on getting new sales staff. Sincerely, customer who will NOT be recommending your store. read more

This store is so unique. I love their wagon latch door and the beautiful set up (like the cozy dress up section!). I liked that they not only had a really nice toy selection, but also the costumes for girls (tutus and dresses) and even some for boys (like a really cool astronaut outfit I spotted!). I came to browse mostly because I love walking around the Madison Park neighborhood when I'm in the area, but I still managed to find something I needed, which was practical and cute party favors for goody bags I was making. By the way, they have some party supplies stuff which is nice because you can buy presents and party stuff and not have to make two different trips. Oh and the manager that was in when I was there was really attentive and helpful - which is always refreshing even when you're just browsing, right?! Anyways, great kids store. Definitely suggest stopping by here if you're in search of something fun for the kids :) read more
