I've been to a few other Harkins Theatres including the one in Ahwatukee and Chandler Fashion Center and this one by far is the most mediocre one. For one, the theatre I was in was one of the smaller ones and the seats were just regular seats. I've been quite spoiled with very luxurious, plush and super comfy recliners at the other Harkins Theatres, so that was a bit of a letdown. What I did like about this Harkins is their bar lounge and it was the first time I had a beer at a Harkins, wow! It wasnt cheap and there were no happy hour specials but I was still pretty excited to watch a movie with an adult beverage vs a soda. It was also dinner time, so I ordered some chicken fingers. Both beer and chicken fingers were solid. Bar is really nice and honestly too bad not many people taking part in it. Bathrooms were clean and theatre was ok, smaller than I would like with more traditional seats. Maybe my fault I chose a less popular film that only had one showing per day. Movie wasn't bad, worth a watch with some good dialogue, all great actors. Ella McCay probably a good Lifetime movie honestly. Im glad I saw it and Jamie Lee Curtis's performance was pretty good! It's not as big which Allowed for a better experience. It just seemed like the screen was larger even though the theater was smaller. The sound was amazing-WAY above what I expected from past IMAX experiences. It was also clean in the lobby, snack bar, and seating area. My biggest take away from this experience was the distance between my seat and the seat in front of me offering me amazing leg room. I take up a lot of real estate and was still able to walk to my seat without hitting other peoples legs, get comfortable and slouch if I wanted to without hitting the seat in front me. Snack Bar attendant Naomi helped us find the best popcorn and drink combo at the most reasonable price. She was friendly and accommodating.

The seats are big, comfortable recliners with attached trays that have cup holders and is big enough to set all your food on. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and wife did the sliders. Everything was fresh, seasoned, and cooked perfectly. I actually loved the chicken sandwich with it's crusty chicken breast that was juicy and delicious. Great experience overall.

We tried this for the first time and what a disappointment. Ordered tickets and concessions about 1/2 before the movie. We showed up 20 minutes before the movie, scanned our tickets and went to our seats. Nothing showed up! Waited til the movie started and still nothing. Went out and found an employee to ask about this. She said she would check on it, so I went back into the theater. Wait 10 minutes and got up to check on this again. Found same employee and she said they were working on it. When it finally arrived they dropped off our order, but no napkins. Love the idea of this service, but the execution is not great. I will just go to concessions in the future.

The service was good, and the location is great with plenty of parking and lots of food options nearby. I highly recommend watching a movie on the IMAX screen. It's massive, the sound system is excellent, and it makes for a great movie experience. Since a full bottle was $50, a friend and I split one for $25 each, which was definitely the better deal. Still, $20 for a small pour is more than what a full bottle costs at the grocery store. But I get it--it's like buying water at Costco vs. a gas station vs. the airport. Prices go up depending on where you are. 05/17/2026 I recently saw Mortal Kombat 2 here on a Sunday…read moreafternoon. The movie time was 3:45pm. Got there around 3:30pm, and the concession stand was so busy! Thank goodness we still got to our theater with a couple of minutes to spare. This was my first time in the Ciné XL theater. It was cool to watch an action-packed movie on the bigger screen. The Ciné XL does cost $3 more per ticket, and for this movie I thought it was worth it. The theater and bathroom were clean. The large parking lot looked full, but there were still some spots further down. My only frustration was at the concession stand. My friend and I ordered a bottled water, a fountain soda, and a bag of candy. Apparently the cashier rang up only the two drinks. So after we paid for that and were about to walk away, they said we still needed to pay for the candy. The numbers checked out, but it was just weird and inconvenient not to ring it all up in one transaction.

Both times we were there it was the same person. He was very knowledgeable of the theater and its offerings. I will say he isn't super friendly. Not unfriendly. Just not super friendly as you would expect of a person in the service industry. He works from behind the ticket counter that doubles as bar. They offer mostly beers on tap like you find in a lot of those tap rooms around the valley. They have some other bottled or canned drinks but nothing mixed. The selection of beers is grand for a theater so that is definitely fun. Especially tasting around the menu. The theaters aren't huge and offer spacious recliners with a table between every two seats. Super comfy and the table is definitely convenient. The best part about this place is how surprisingly good the food is. Last night we ordered the wings with loaded fries, mozzarella sticks, and the bottomless bowl of popcorn. The food is not what I would call restaurant quality, but compared to theater food anywhere else, I would take this 100% of the time. It's actually quite excellent. Since Covid I have fully avoided theaters, because I prefer just watching at home where I know the food will be better. This theater has reignited my passion for going to the theaters. Also, the pricing is extremely reasonable. I suggestion passing on the big brand theaters with there super expensive frozen food options and over sized, over pact theaters.
