Last minute decision to go see the devil wears Prada 2 at 9 pm. Didn't realize they were going to start the showing on a Thursday night since it was supposed to be released on may 1. All the memorabilia was sold out, wish they had gotten enough to even last one full day. I was a little disappointed at the condition of the theater room we were in. It was very dated. The seats definitely need to be updated or replaced. They were peeling and just looked awful. The cup holders were gross and needed to be cleaned bad. But the thing that annoyed me the most was the movie playing next door. It was so loud that you could hear it through the walls. It really disturbed our movie experience. All the bumping coming through the walls was overtaking the sound of our movie making it hard to hear at times. Please do better. read more

Worst Experience Ever!!!!! My husband and I were escorted out by Police! The police were extremely nice! My husband and I go to the movies 3 times a week, we're retired. We always bring cups because we ONLY drink water. We have been told by the different AMC employees that not only is it ok to bring our cups but they give us lids. That particular day my husband grabbed the lids himself while getting the popcorn and I was getting the water. Afterwards my husband later came over to the soda machine. The manager Alisha came over and said in an aggressive manner. I wanna make sure you're NOT stealing soda! After finding out we only had water she did not apologize! Before going to our theater my husband asked her name and she became hostile again and accused us of swearing at her and she called the police. Management Alisha has NO PPL SKILLS AND WE WERE ALSO BANNED FROM THAT THEATRE! Because of her LIES! Not as flashy as the newer theaters, one the lights go out, it's still a nice screen with good sound. The seats are more padded than the old style the seats but they are old. (See uploaded picture) The seats in the theater we were in do not recline. Granted, we were only in one theater so I don't know what the others were like. Anyway, if it is close to you, I wouldn't drive farther for a fancier theater, as the saying goes, all cats are gray in the dark or my favorite, in the dark, a pig is as good as a prince. We have two AMC Theaters nearby. Our favorite location is this Superstition Signal Butte location. For one it is surrounded by some of a favorite restaurants. But the Theater has an IMax show room in addition to all the other nice Theater rooms. Ninety five percent of the time we are in one of the regular theater rooms which are very nice with all the latest sound emersion decoding technology. But one in a while there is that special Movie that is best experienced in an IMax. Like both versions of Top Gun, Jurassic Park(s), 2024 Civil War, The Kingdom etc. We love the convenience of online shopping for seats, prepay popcorn and drinks so they are ready to grab as we enter. read more

I drove to the theater by accident but I'm actually glad I did because I got to interact with Jayme behind the counter and he was such a sweetheart! He helped me decide which movie I wanted to watch before I drove to the right theater where I'm meeting my group. I would definitely come back here, the concessions look great and the lobby area very welcoming and well stocked cool little shop right in the middle and a bar to the left of the ticket counter. We love this location! Ticketing and check in process is easy and you're welcome to arrive early or just in time. The popcorn is always fresh and they give a hefty portion of mozzarella sticks. Plenty of staff and mostly clean restrooms. Love the bar to treat yourself every now and then! Ample parking out front and a surrounded by a few restaurants before or after for a full day experience. This is one of the best movie locations we have been too! It starts off with a JD who's always so funny and makes us laugh. He even did the voice of Stitch so well that my 8 yr old was like wow he is good! Alysha, Alex, Isabella, Raygan are all friends yes we go a lot especially in the 100+ summers! Most of the theaters have the amazing lounge chairs. The IMAX is incredible. It's clean. The popcorn is fresh and obviously all the friendly faces make the whole experience all the better! read more

My wife and I went to see captain America here on 2/26/2025. We walked in and went to get our tickets and had to wait for the employee finish eating something and then took our order. The bartender was watching videos on his phone and eating something food at the bar. I feel like I was at someone's house not a place of business. The woman manger was extremely rude and unhelpful when asking a simple question about a gift card I had, the young girl at the counter was also horrible. She was extremely slow and kept looking around for help but wouldn't open her mouth to ask so I had to tell her to get a manger if she needed help with the transaction and she became upset with an attitude. This place not only has incompetent and slow moving staff but it is also very dirty and gross, popcorn and trash all over the lobby area and the bathrooms were even worse. Only came here because we were gifted a gift card and trust when I say I will be giving this away to a homeless and continuing my loyalty to harkins. This place sucks. The staff is unfriendly, prices are stupid high for anything, and the theaters are disgustingly dirty. For my daughter and I to go it cost nearly $60 for us to get tickets, popcorn, and two drinks. We also had to clean our seats off prior to even sitting down. The seats were covered in trash and popcorn. There was probably an entire large bag worth of popcorn on the ground as well. The sound quality is atrocious too. How is there not surround sound? It's all direct facing speakers; my home theater system at home sounds better. The seats were comfortable but were also so heavily worn they were falling apart. What a waste of money. Last week for Ballerina, it started over 15 min late, and now for How to Train Your Dragon, it's starting around 30 minutes late. Went to a movie today at this theater. We were early enough to get popcorn. This was a 12. Ordered popcorn and a drink. Before I ordered, o asked of they had popcorn because I did not see any in the machine. The worker said they were making it now. It turns out they didnt't put in wnough corn so they had to start over. Asked me to wait. Then when they thought the popcorn was done they dumped ot andnit was all kernals and oil. My movie was getting ready to start. Someone 3lse wanted a refund and they seemed to not know what to do and saiid that they were figuring it out. Because they were in a crisis i just left and went into the movie with my drink and no popcorn (which I had paid for). Staff did not know what they were doing. I will say the seating was very comforatble with reclining loungers. Also to buy in advance online for 4 tickets there would have been an $8.76 convenince fee. We decided to just take our chances to avoid that fee. Ridiculous. read more

I have been coming to this location since AMC took over and used to love it. Pros: Leather recliners with seat warmers,$5 Tuesday, lots of parking, close to a few eatery's Cons: Staff needs training, soda machines busted , messy and in need of a cleaning, also horrible ticket booth area during the summer for patrons & employees(Get an awning) Also this location has an IMAX theater but the screen size is disappointing for the price of an IMAX ticket. Since Covid came and went, and inflation has taken more of our $ we haven't been to the movies much. This theater, which sports the only IMAX around, is a nice one and, as a major chain, shows all the latest movies. The problem, for us are the prices, especially for food and drinks, but for the movies as well. How anyone can justify and get away with charging $7.50 for a medium drink is beyond me. "PRICE Gouging" comes to mind, and I believe that's illegal, but I guess if people pay it they think it's okay. Thankfully we have zillions of movies to watch on our home theater system and we'll continue to do that instead of getting ripped off at the local movie theater. read more

Went to see Deadpool x Wolverine last night and honestly AMC disappointed me. After $20 for two drinks I go into the theater and the staff didn't even bother to clean the theater from the movie prior to mine. Popcorn all over the floor, popcorn buckets left everywhere. I couldn't even use my own cup holder because someone else's drink was left in it. Even after complaining to staff that they should clean the theater before letting other guests enjoy their film they did nothing!!! Super disappointed in AMC I doubt I'll be back. read more

The seat I was in STUNK like horrible BO. I went out looking for help to get an OK to move seats. But after looking twice. Couldn't find anyone. When movie ended. Went to look for a manger. Could find one. Member of staff said he couldn't help but would tell them, didn't seem to care. I asked to speak to someone and was told "manager was upstairs in office and we don't have radios", so nothing he could do. Manager comes around corner (not upstairs), and talks to us. This place is a disaster and needs attention ASAP by corporate. It is so understaffed to the point that these poor kids are completely overwhelmed. There were only four people working and a concession line nearly out the door. There was nobody taking tickets at the front so anyone could just walk in. I ordered my food the night before when booking tickets and it wasn't ready at the time of the movie. I was told "it will be a while". I thoroughly enjoyed viewing a movie at AMC Superstition East 12. I'm not sure why the 3 star rating. We stopped in for a weekday (a Monday afternoon) matinee, so maybe my experience with the theater is a little different from those that posted previous reviews. The theater was completely cleaned. The seats were clean and comfortable. The sound system is great! No issues with the customer service or anything. The seats were extremely comfortable. Not only did they reclined, but they reclined so much that I felt like I was watching a movie from my couch. Score! We ate before we got there so I have nothing to say about the concession stands but I will I noticed a lightly fully stocked bar with a few beers on tap and an actual bartender ... even during the day time. I do plan to visit AMC Superstition East 12 again in the future. It's close my house and there's LOTS of places to eat and drink in the area. read more

We saw 3 great movies the last 2 weekends, however, our experience would have earned AMC a 5-star rating if the auditoriums weren't so very warm. It felt like the thermostat was set to 84 degrees, and my wife and i were literally perspiring. We asked management to turn the air colder, after all, it's the hottest summer on record. They said they'd been getting a lot of complaints. It felt like the air went cooler, but only for about 10 minutes. We think management was trying so save money. But again, it's the hottest summer on record ie 110+ temperatures the entire month of July. We think it should be about customer safety and comfort. These auditoriums have been sold out. Movie-going is back, revenues are higher, turn on the air! read more

I guess we must have gone on a great day? Because the experience was not at all what some of the less than positive comments or photos represent- so I was almost not looking forward to visiting this location, but now quite glad we did! I'm almost shocked to see what others have experienced. And I admit, I don't go to the theatre often. But when I do, I really pay attention to WHAT the experience is because it is SO insanely expensive these days! You really do expect the establishment & facility to be the 5-star TOP notch experience you feel like your forking over an entire DAY's worth of pay for... one person is steeeeeep in cost (even the early shows), for the whole shabang- I can't imagine taking the entire family on a regular basis. Not for 2 hours of crowded entertainment. I grew up when going to the theatre cost $20 or less. Forgive my old school nature on this one. ;) We opted to see iMax 3D. It did not disappoint, nor did any of the experience. Granted we went early, 2pm on a Sunday, but there was still a decent crowd. We had pre-purchased tickets so waiting for the 1 person at the 3 window ticket booth wasn't an issue. Nor was getting through the ticket-check. I was lucky enough to be w/ someone who had the "fast pass" for concessions. Otherwise, we may have had to wait a whopping 5 minutes in line, because there was 5 attendants diligently working the counter. So that is where I will note how impressed I was with the cleanliness of this theatre! The beverage/soda station was fully stocked, wiped down, nearly spotless. Same with the butter/condiment station. Clean & stocked. The floors were all swept, finding our seats was not a problem- the stairs/sections were a little confusing, but the lighting was perfect, prior to movie. Light enough to see clearly but dim enough to adjust. While the seats in this iMax don't recline, they are still rather comfortable. Spacious to a certain level, but the arm rests are not comfortable & it does feel very compact. We saw 3D, and the quality was great. The glasses worked well & weren't too heavy or uncomfortable. The split-level seating is a plus!! Especially when you have someone directly in front of you who WON'T sit down or STAY seated! Ugh. Concessions were easy, as I mentioned the "fast pass". (I guess you can order online now, too?!) But lets be real: shove a water bottle or soda can in your purse/pocket & eat BEFORE the show! It's more than robbery, what concessions cost. Really- bring an empty water bottle or ask for a simple water cup & fill it up at the fountain, because $7 for a concessions bottle is INSANE! I paid $6 for a fountain drink- why?!? You can buy an entire month's supply of popcorn for what a small costs. Seriously. Make it at home, toss in ziplock, shove in purse/coat pocket & go. MilkDuds are better half-melted from your pocket, anyway. You just saved $20 on food/beverage- you're welcome! Otherwise, we were shocked to see it was a FULL theatre by the time we were exiting! (That's HOW good the split-level seating is! I didn't notice beyond the row directly below me! And as far as the trash can complaint goes- the cans conveniently placed outside EVERY theatre door, next to concessions, restrooms, etc... ALL were totally empty/clean when we entered & worked our way to our seats. It wasn't until the RUSH at the END of the show that things became full & less than perfect. Don't ding them on that when it's a rush to/from a popular & heavy traffic movie. The facility & everything was very nice & clean & fully stocked until the inevitable rush occurs. All of those in my party had a great time & will definitely come back for the next show... when we can afford an entire day's pay. read more

I took my wife and daughter to watch Operation Finale. When we showed up at the theater AMC employees greeted us with "We do not allow Harkin's cup refills.", No Welcome to AMC. Not once but three separate times by employees. No big deal, they have a job to do right. We get to our seats and the movie start and we notice walking along the railing in front of us a Scorpion!. I kill the Scorpion and the rest of the time I am paying more attention to what is around me than the movie. Totally ruined the movie for me. Notified AMC of the Scorpion problem and my concerns.
