Will you pick your seat when you pay for your ticket at the front counter. I've never been to a theater that doesn't have aisles on both sides of the seat. When I walked into the theater, I literally could not see. It was so dark. I heard other people saying the same thing. The theater experience was nice the chairs recline. The price was right a senior ticket only cost six dollars for the first show of the day with $.50 tax. I will return. read more

New reclining seating only allows feet elevated while back reclining- cannot independently adjust feet and recliner. The theater smells awful like an old musty motel room. Smells very old and dirty despite the upgraded facilities. There were no trailers or commercials prior to show time, and the lighting was so dim that nobody could find their seats with the use of a camera light. read more

We bought two tickets for one movie. We always will see another movie while we're waiting to see the movie that we paid for. In fact, this is exactly what we did on Monday, September 4, Labor Day. The girl who took our tickets was a blonde girl, may be a manager, she was dressed, very unprofessional, and very frumpy. Her name is Nikki. She was VERY kind to us, and very professional, and she knew that we were watching a movie that we did not get a ticket for and we were never harassed and we were never asked to leave. in fact, she did what they normally do just turn a blind eye, because they don't care if you see more than one movie as long as you pay. Subsequently that did NOT happen for an interracial couple, and which they were harassed because this manager, blond girl, Nikki, Went into every movie auditorium to look for the interracial couple so she could rudely interrupt the peace and vehemently disrespect them by singling them out because of them being a black and White couple blatantly ask them why are they there so early and then they were asked to leave and get out of the movie auditorium because they did not pay to see the Barbie movie. This is racist. And this continues to happen at this movie, venue, picture, show superstition, ranch, Mesa, Arizona. I am speaking up now, because I have witnessed Black people coming in here and being harassed and being treated unfairly. Nikki has been the main culprit in the main races in this equation as she is in the pursuit of happiness, and wielding her power to harass Black people who only want to just see a movie that they paid for. It is not fair to enforce the so called rules on Black people, and then do not enforce the rules on we as white folks. We always see more than one movie and only pay for one ticket and no one bothers us and we've been coming to this movie theater for years. We had been going here for over 2 years and the price was right ! 4.50 anytime of day or weekend..we noticed about a year ago prices on concessions went up, but we didn't mind as much because of the ticket price, but now in the last 6 months tickets went up to 4.75 which was fine then next times we went went it was 5 I thought it was a misprint because it was 5 and some change ..then the next time I look its $7 i thought maybe they decided to charge more after noon..but thats not the case Its a rapid hike for nothing different..ow..We likely won't be coming back or as often because we drive further just to come here even though not the most comfortable reclining seats no frills..we just thought its fine because of the prices, but now I think well go elsewhere closer ..save the gas read more

The seats are falling apart and don't fully recline. The auditoriums are designed to have traditional rocker seats and don't have enough of an incline to see the screen once reclined. The whole place seems cramped and poorly designed. The concessions stand and box office are both too small for the theater. The whole place has either sticky tile/linoleum, or popcorn enriched carpet. I overall just don't feel safe or comfortable when I'm there. read more

Tried to see Avengers: End Game on opening night. Only available was 3D. The screen was so blurry it wasn't watchable. Had leave very disappointed. Numerous other guests did the same. Other than that, this is still a substandard facility. The new seats are really comfortable and the recline is nice. But the screen was very small and offset to the side to make way for a tall exit door and ducting near the ceiling. Smallest theater screen I've seen in years. This place was worth the $2 admission for old movies. Not worth full price. This is my last time coming to this theater. read more

My wife and I went to this theater a couple times prior to Covid and had an excellent experience both times. Cheap ticket prices, comfortable recliner seating and good popcorn with a self serve butter machine. It's smaller than Harkins and has more of a small town less crowded feel which is bonus and makes this place unique. I stopped in today, first time since Covid, to pick up some popcorn to go. We felt like staying in and watching movies at home after a busy work week. The kid at the counter was super polite and upsold us the tub of popcorn instead of the large. He let us know that you can get one refill with the tub. Since we were taking it to go, he grabbed a couple small boxes, unprompted, and gave us a "to go" refill. This literally made our whole night. Worst theater seats. Loud AC that doesn't keep the theater cool enough. They say luxury recliner seats but they don't fully recline, leaving both my legs and back very uncomfortable for the duration of the show. Add to that the loud and ineffectual AC and I had the worst theater experience in memory. Too bad really, because the movie itself was good... I'd done better to wait for the video. I grew up coming to this "Dollar theater". Shout out to the people who miss the Gila monster slide! I am so happy for them that they have not only survived, but were able to upgrade to reclining theater seats instead of the old sticky seats they used to have. Definitely an old-school movie theater. I would give it three stars but the price is so darn good, they deserve a fourth star. Literally $2 for a movie! Place could use some TLC but overall they were making it as clean as they could. They totally remodeled the entire theater! I Love the reclining seats and the deep leg room. If you do not plan to buy snacks, there is a kiosk to buy tickets with your cc and it prints a ticket rght there. No fee! Now you can pick your seats from a screen. So if you are seeing a very popular movie, you will be sure where you will be seated. Very cool. It is new and fresh and clean! I much rather come here than the other big theaters and fight the crowd. And movies before noon is only $4.50. read more

Price hike! Was a great run down, low-cost option to take the kids out for a quick movie night and not break the bank. Screen quality is not worth more than the $2 bucks they used to charge. Decent pricing but definitely a disappointment that they raised the prices of the theater. I use to go here as a kid and took my daughter here for a night out because it was inexpensive. Now the tickets are over 5$ and it's only because the seats they have now. The seats aren't even that great considering they look like AMC seats but without the full lay back and comfortability. Definitely an upgrade to the last seats they have though. My only hope is one day they change the seats to be more like stadium seating so each level is higher or lower than the next so we don't have to struggle to see the screen. It's $2 movies most of the time which should give a clue that most likely you are not going to a new upscale theater. For the money, the sound is fine and while not the best screens, that doesn't usually diminish the movie watching. Popcorn is good and employees are friendly. read more

I went here on 12/20/2018 to see an 8:05 showing of Aquaman. This is my first time coming here and I was a little disappointed... Let's start with the pros, which there is only three, and that is it was very affordable with prices only being $8.50. Secondly you get to chose your seats, which is always amazing. Last pro is that the seats reclines. There were several cons. First the staff didn't acknowledge that we had came in, the were talking to each other the whole time. With it being my first time, I wasn't sure where I could get my tickets. When I finally into the theater, the screen was dirty and the seats were uncomfortable and didn't go all the way back. Also the popcorn was very dry and Bland. The movie was amazing, however for me, the cons outweigh the pros! So I won't be coming anymore. read more

I've been here before when the prices were $2 a person. Now the prices are $4.50 a person. Here is my latest experience. They now have assigned seating where you can choose your seat and they are leather recliners which is still a good deal for $4.50! However the assigned system doesn't work! Both myself and another person had the same seat on our receipts so my daughter and I had to sit apart! Overall not a bad deal for the experience. Still cheaper than seeing a brand new movie in theatre. Food prices are good as well. read more

The theatre was ok and the seating comfortable but the popcorn was terrible! It was very tough with allot of unpopped kernels in it. They offer no iced tea for us that do not want surgary or carbonated drinks. The restrooms were adequate. We will probably go there again sometime but not often. read more

Upgrades are appreciated but we just bought our tickets after getting here 45 Mom early to get a good seat and after everything was purchased we were told our assigned seat numbers. Turns out they assign seats from the farthest back corner in. Our seats are super shitty for being the second people here. Completely unacceptable. read more
