Lastly , I was not compensated for the final events of work ( I was guaranteed in an email that I would be paid 5 days after I resigned) due to my resignation because of false promises made in my interview. Another situation that made me very uncomfortable is when I was asked to be dishonest with a Director about having a Covid-19 Vaccine. I do not have the vaccine and the school I was assigned to required all staff to have the vaccine, before we were allowed to be around children. I was told, by Thomas and Patrick to be dishonest by so that "we" Amazing Athletes , could "get paid". The end result was I did not receive compensation for times worked plus mileage and I received various unprofessional text messages and emails from both Thomas and Patrick because I did not want to work the last Friday due to the distance and fact that I had already been promised compensation and it was never paid to me. I will say I enjoyed the kids !! They kept me there for as long as I was - as a godparent I don't feel comfortable knowing that these two men are willing to lie , and go against a schools requirement , to make money. I would be upset if my child was at a facility where I thought everyone was vaccinated and I found out that an adult was dishonest and put my child's health at risk, for money. If I had my own school , these men would not be asked to return.

The treadmills are dusty, mirrors are cracked and held together with duct tape, the music system hasn't worked in months, and the water fountains have almost no pressure and are coated in calcium buildup. The restrooms and shower areas are consistently filthy. One hand dryer is broken, and the others are covered in water splatter. With no towels available, members are forced to open doors with wet hands. The bathroom and gym floors are regularly dirty, and one adjustable bench was missing a screw. Rather than repairing it, the bench was removed entirely, reducing equipment availability. The manager appears unmotivated and lingers around women while they work out, creating an uncomfortable environment. If these issues were occasional, I would not be writing this review. However, these conditions have persisted for six months, demonstrating ongoing neglect in both maintenance and management. I only use this location out of convenience and often skip it entirely when possible.

I had signed up years ago for a one-year contract because I knew I would be moving away and just needed a temporary gym membership at the time. When it eventually was time for me to move, I had been told by an ABC Financial representative that I had "renewed my contract for another two years." That was impossible. I knew I would not be living in Ft. Worth for more than a year. Even when I had quoted her from the contract copy I had in my hands, she said she was, "reading from my new contract," and did not send me a copy of said "new contract" after requesting it. Eventually, the only way I could get out of my membership was literally by moving to another state where there was not a location within a 25-mile radius. They also required proof of new residency to get out of the contract. I had to provide my change of address form and a letter explaining why I was discontinuing my membership in order to get out of the fee. The fee is whatever monthly payments are left on your account in total. DO. NOT. SIGN-UP.

I would strongly recommend wiping down any machine before and after using it. I saw the same gum wrapper in the treadmill I use 4 days in a row. And this was recent. Cleanliness of equipment has been an issue since they opened. This was never mentioned anywhere--not on the website, not on the referral sheet, and not verbally when I asked about it beforehand. Before referring my friends, I even called the gym to confirm the details, and no one mentioned this limitation. During my friends' sign-ups, the sales rep took my information (email and phone number) and assured me he would submit everything to management and that I'd hear back within a week. I never received any communication. When I followed up, I was told that only one of my referrals was counted. What happened to the other two? There has been no clear explanation.
