Redmond Taxi is who I will call when I'd like to schedule a driver to pick me up and take me to the Redmond Airport. I live in Powell Butte so I absolutely have to call ahead, usually a day in advance. I've never had them tell me nobody was available and I've never had a driver just not show up.... but they're always early. Like annoyingly early sometimes. They'll either come up and knock or I will have to run out there to let them know I still have some things to pack or finish up because I wasn't expecting them for another hour or however long, and that I'll go as quick as I can (they've always been understanding but it makes me feel bad/awkward lol). Better than being late or not showing up but it's still pretty inconvenient. The positives are that I've never had a driver who made me feel unsafe or uncomfortable. I have such few options where I live (no uber, no lyft, only a couple cab companies to call) so I am grateful they're available at all and willing to make the drive. I was driving on 126 going into Redmond And as I was getting closer to 67th St., A light blue van that has their company name and phone number in the back of their car, pulled right out in front of me and couldn't wait five more seconds. Given I have no stop sign and The roads on left and the right do. I had to break so hard that I skid across the road and if I didn't move my car at an angle almost going into the other lane, I would've hit him head on, and I would've almost died. I would give them zero stars. Do not take this taxi service, I really hope there was no one in that taxi when that driver pulled out right in front of me. There were witnesses there that saw what happened. I talked to the owner about this and he did not seem very concerned about it And was almost defending the driver. But if you're a taxi service, you should not be trying to kill people on the road And that you should be a cautious driver, especially when you have the company name and phone number on the back of your vehicle. I hope they do better but I would not be recommending the service to anyone. read more

They've always been on time and courteous and have always done a great job! We have used them several times for airport shuttle service.

I called them on Monday to reserve for a Friday pick up at Redmond municipal Airport. No one showed up and no one answered my phone calls or texts. I called Taxis of Bend and someone came right out to get me. This person was a pleasure to talk with and the Taxi Service was excellent. So if you need a taxi, do not call Redmond Taxi Service! Call Taxis of Bend!! It is now an hour and a half after the original pick up time and I still have not heard anything from Redmond Taxi Service. An apology would be greatly appreciated. read more

Redmond Taxi came to my rescue at 11pm on Wednesday. I usually use Lyft but as I suspected, there were no drivers available in Redmond at that time. I had been taken to the ER by ambulance and needed to get back to my hotel. The van looked and sounded in rough shape and had a distinct cigarette odor, but the driver was pleasant, prompt (waited 10-15 min), and fare was quite reasonable ($15 for a 4-mile trip). Wouldn't be my first choice, but gets the job done in a pinch. read more

I work for an airline that uses this company for our early morning departure when the hotel shuttle isn't running. The Redmond Taxi company appears to get their vans from the local junkyard. The outside of the van looks as if it participated in a crash derby, and lost. It was dented, rusty, and flakes of paint come off on your hand if you use the door handle. The interior is worse. The headliner is falling off and the only likely reason it hasn't separated completely is due to the support it receives from the passengers heads it's riding on. The seats, floor and cup holders have years of dirt, crumbs and spilt coffee built up. To top it off an empty pizza box and a pile of trash was riding shotgun so we had to cram in the back. If the Redmond Taxi company severely neglects the exterior and interior condition of their vans like this, then it's safe to assume the mechanical condition is just as bad read more

Called the day before to reserve pickup from RDM for my small family in the evening. Arrived at the airport and was outside at the reserved time. No sign of the cab. I called. Driver told me she had no record of the reservation. Twenty minutes later, driver showed up. While taking us to our destination, she answered a call from someone at the airport asking when they would be picked up. Driver had no record of the reservation and promised she would come by in about 40 minutes... A few minutes later, she got ANOTHER call from someone waiting to be picked up. Person said they'd made a reservation at a local business. No record of the reservation. Driver romised to be there when possible. We arrived at our destination late but safe and sound. Driver was friendly. But I would not call to reserve with this company again. There is clearly a problem keeping track of reservations. read more

I recently traveled to Redmond for a wedding. Against advice, I decided not to rent a car, thinking that Ubers would be readily available. I was wrong. Thankfully I stumbled upon Redmond taxi and their manager, Christian. Christian was extremely helpful in arranging rides for me to from the various venues I needed to be at. The scum of the earth, if they decide to answer your call consider yourself warned... a minority of the drivers are good and the ownership is troubling I ask their hours, they say they turn off the phones at 11:45... We called for a taxi from a recommendation from the bartender at Timbers. He said he'd pick us up out front wt 7:30 pm. And never showed up.

My plane was 10 minutes late. The taxi driver was there on time. However she informed me that we would have to wait for her next appointment that had landed early. (However they were not around and we waited for 15 more minutes) I informed her I wanted to go home and had no interest in ride sharing. I did not understand how her next appointment meant I had to wait. Shouldn't she deliver me and then come back at the actual pick up time for her next appointment? When I asked if this pick up we were waiting for was going to the same area in Redmond, she had no idea who they were or where they were going. So when I asked what was she going to do if they wanted to go the opposite direction, she said she had no idea. I am a very unhappy customer and would recommend using another taxi service. First time calling Redmond Taxi and the very last time I ever call Redmond Taxi. I called Redmond Taxi at around 10:40am for a 11am local ride to my Dr appt in Redmond from my home in Redmond and the guy says yes and he will pick me up at around 11:15am after he drops off someone at airport at 11am and I said perfect because my appt is at 11:40am, then it's 11:15 no taxi driver, then 11:20 still no driver, then 11:25 and still no taxi. So it's now 11:30am I call Redmond Taxi back (same guy answered who I talked to earlier) and asked if he was running late and still on his way and he says word for word "ummm no" and then he acted like I never called him earlier for a ride and then tells me he's headed to Bend instead of picking me up and then says he can pick me up in 30 - 45 minutes when he's back in Redmond and I say well no because I'm now already late for my Dr appt because of him not showing up. So I hang up and then open lyft app and I had a lyft driver on his way and it only took 30 seconds to get a lyft ride. Plus I could track my lyft driver the whole way which is very nice. I will be using lyft from now on. I suspect the Redmond Taxi guy got a better paying ride job from someone in Bend than my quick local ride to my very important Dr appt but then he decides to lie to me to make it sound like that I never called him for a ride in the first place and yes it was the same Redmond Taxi guy on the phone both times because I asked him what his name was and plus it was the same male voice. Nope will Never call 'Redmond Taxi' ever again. Both of my lyft rides were amazing though and thank goodness my Dr still seen me even though Redmond Taxi made me very late for my appt because Redmond taxi driver decided to ignore my ride request and take another ride request because it probably paid more than mine. The guy who answers the phone is very rude, I am the owner of Mi Cantina in Redmond, our customers are constantly needing a ride so we use Redmond Taxi but the guy has be hanging up on my employees which is disrespectful. Needed to get a money order for rent before the place closed and 20 minutes tuned to 30 turned to 40 eventually an hour goes by then I'm told sorry we picked someone else up ill be there in a little bit ill call you so I wait even longer at this point its almost been 2 hours but I'm like whatever I've waited this long call em again and he goes " yeah we're not going to be able to make it" thanks for wasting 2 hours I could've found a different ride. I missed my flight to Macedonia for my granddaughter's wedding thanks to Redmond Taxi! I called several weeks ago to reserve a ride to and from the airport. I called again yesterday to confirm pick up time and address, clearly stating "PM" as I've traveled many times and know the importance of details. Redmond Taxi did not show. I called the Redmond Taxi number 6 times from the time they were to pick me up until I could find another ride to the airport. Not once did they answer the phone nor did they return any of my calls. I am very angry and frustrated, to say the least. Not only did I not make the flight to my granddaughter's wedding (international flights require early check-in) but I lost over $1500 for the flight as the airlines would not refund or exchange my airfare. To rebook now will cost me 4 times as much. I strongly recommend you do not use Redmond Taxi. Thank goodness we have other options. read more

Seems anytime I call for a taxi in downtown Redmond, I always seem to get the same answer. "there are no other drivers"! Uber's and Lift are also very limited. Seems Redmond only has one cab service and only one driver at a time. I will be letting other cab services aware that Redmond Cab co. Is not in the best choice for a ride. read more

This is the only taxi company I've ever ridden with that does not do ride share. I got a ride with a couple from the Redmond airport to Bend. Instead of splitting the fare, which every other taxi service I've ever used has done, he charged both parties the flat rate to Bend. I said I'd get out at their hotel and take a separate taxi over from the hotel and he said that it doesn't work that way. As my experience goes people often share cabs farther distances to save money, which he wouldn't allow. Even Uber is doing a pool these days. Poor business management. No dispatcher either so the driver was literally picking up calls every two minutes. Very unprofessional. If I would have known I would have tried a different service. I've been around this town my whole entire life I've built many businesses and help many people build businesses I have used this service but I'm giving you a review right now this is the worst service I have ever seen he steals money from the disabled the state pays him so much for each disabled person's State account to transport them and if they use all their money for that month he keeps charging to them and then steals their money the following month this is the worst business practice I have ever seen in my life I have recently stopped using his service because of this issue it's gone so far as to about 3 to 4 years ago I watched one of Redmond taxi drivers so marijuana out of his van I seen it with my own eyes he delivers alcohol to clients when he is the only one that has a OLCC license none of his drivers have the license to do this I can promise you one thing I will never use this service again he can beg me please me do all he wants to but I promise you this this is a business I will not promote read more

Very disappointed! Called in advance to schedule a pick up to go to the airport at 4:20 in the morning. The guy who answered was very nice and told me it wouldn't be a problem, but come 4:20 that day, no one showed up. I called and the guy who was driving that morning didn't know anything about a pick up. He was very nice and felt bad, but that didn't get me and my family to the airport. I called Redmond Taxi at 1:45 am to schedule a ride for 1 hour later. The driver said he thought he could mzke it by then, as he was headed to Bend. An hour later, no taxi, no call. I called him and said i just wanted to see how close he was to picking me up. He said "yeah, im not gonna make it. My guy is wandering Walmart." No stars for Redmond Taxi. I called the night before my flight and made a 4:40am reservation for my 6:00am flight. The next morning, I called 3 times to find out where the taxi was, until finally the taxi arrived 30 minutes late. Instead of getting to the airport 1 hour prior to departure, I arrived within 28 minutes of departure and the ticket agent would not check my bag because I was considered a Late Check In. My son, with his sick baby had to drive to the airport to pick up my bag that I had to leave in the waiting area, unsupervised. He then had to overnight my medications that were in the suitcase at a cost of $56.25. He then shipped my suitcase at a cost of $130.39. So no, I cannot recommend a taxi service that arrives late causing me loads of stress and loads of money. I had to give 1 star to post this review. read more

I felt very unsafe during the whole ride. Christopher picked me up at the Redmond airport and I needed a ride into Bend. He was on the shoulder most of the time, aggressive towards other cars, referred to his friends as "vaginas" for not wanting to drive in the snow and complained about having to drive a taxi because of multiple circumstances in his personal life. About halfway there he asked if I wanted to stop for a beer since it was Christmas eve (almost 1 am) and said he wouldn't charge me extra. At that point I felt even less safe because I didn't trust him to actually take me straight home. When he skidded to a stop at one point, he told me another passenger had complained when he did that, so he blasted A Team through her neighborhood and she freaked out. HANDICAPPED STAY AWAY on 1 -10-19 I called for a taxi and was told he was out front at the airport and with some effort I made it to the taxi.. The young driver just sat there and watched me fighting with my luggage attempting to load it. I use a cane and it is obvious by my walk that I am handicapped.but the driver just sat there and watching me struggle . I asked him if he could get off his ass and help me and he told me to find another cab. I called to complain but I got no answer. I received a call later from some one from there dispatch and they told me not to use them again. Another taxi driver from executive cab saw my plight and the driver came to my rescue and loaded my luggage up ,drove me home and unloaded the luggage like a person would assume any person would do for a handicapped person,especially a cab driver.Redmond cab does not care for your business if your handicapped so stay clear and use someone like Executive cab who will assist you if you need it. read more

I want to brag on James at Redmond Taxi. My flight arrived a midnight, but after awhile, I discovered that my luggage didn't arrive. It took 30 minutes for me to get the report filed with the airline, but James waited patiently. I figured I would need to pay extra for James' wait time, but he told me that I had already been inconvenienced enough with the airline losing my luggage and that it wasn't my fault. WOW!
