Pupchella -- great idea, but what a mess and frankly a waste of time it was. We got there around 2 pm and were done in under 5 minutes. Except for the Tesla booth, no one even bothered greeting us... yes, we brought our cute 7-month-old puppy with us. The music booth planted in the middle of everything was so loud it became obnoxious. Then there was the puppy booth with zero signage -- are they selling puppies or are they a rescue? No clue. The only visible sign said "not fully vaccinated," which raises the question: WHY are the puppies there to begin with? They shouldn't be there as a petting zoo, exposed to random dogs. There were maybe around 10 booths total, and at least 3 of them were just photo-op booths. The "doggy care" booth was especially confusing... what exactly are they even selling? Their setup also had real estate advertising mixed in. Overall, it felt poorly organized, underwhelming, and more geared toward Instagram photos than actual pet community engagement. read more

Redmond Town Center is a one stop shop for food, entertainment, and a destination for a leisure afternoon or evening. The center is jam packed with a variety of retailers, fitness studios such as Cyclebar, and places to enjoy a drink and catch up with friends. It's a good mix of moderate and high end for both retail and dining, so you can find something that suits everyone's needs and wants. The service from all their retailers is always spot on. The center itself is filled with plenty of seating where you can grab a bite, a coffee, and sit down to read a book, people watch, or just enjoy a nice day outside. Without having to cross into the city for Uvillage, RTC is a 10/10 spot to visit! read more

REDMOND TOWN CENTER @ REDMOND Parking is available in any of their garages, and it's free and always open. I really love how accessible the parking is, and if you're lucky, you can also find street parking nearby. I've been to Redmond Town Center a couple of times, and I really love the area. It's a beautiful, walkable outdoor town center where most of the restaurants and stores are located outside. You can walk through the center where there's usually a fountain or a Christmas tree, depending on the season. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends, but during the weekdays it's much more open since most people are working. The area has a good selection of shops. I especially like Bath & Body Works, and they also have smaller boutique stores like Francesca that are fun to check out. One of my favorite parts is that there's a CycleBar on the top floor, it's technically part of the garages but still connected to the town center. I also like that there are seating areas with fireplaces where you can relax. Overall, the selection is decent. It's not like Bellevue Square where there are tons of major stores; it's more of a smaller, boutique-style shopping center with a strong focus on restaurants. They have spots like Kizuki Ramen and Kitanda. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

I didn't even realize this is considered a mall. From the map, it looks like it is in a circular shape, with some anchor tenants e.g. Seattle Marriott Redmond, the movie theaters. There are a few more hotels here too, which I am not sure if it is part of it. I find the layout hard to get my bearing, to even know where to start walking to specific stores. It is a 2-storey mall. The shops are a jumble of kids education centers, restaurants, cafes and some clothing and a bath and bodyworks. From the little walk and exploration I did, I didn't get the focal point of this mall. There is a Daiso, but there are no other convenience store like a 7-11. It is quite a mess and not very friendly for first time visitors to this place. I think this probably appeal to the locals who live in this area more than tourists. There are free parking at the parkade and on the street. Just no overnight parking here. read more

We were looking for something to eat... I can't remember the specifics. However, this wasn't the best spot for that. My daughter and our dog got cupcakes at a little cupcake shop, and the whole family enjoyed looking around a little gift store, but since we really weren't in need of anything, this probably wasn't the best place for us to go. I my even remember when I started coming to RTC but I have been living around the area for over 12 tears and since then it had changed so much. Thankfully for the better. It is a very nice street mall to come with friends and kids, especially during summer time. The middle area has water fountain to the kids and they always have a blast. There are just a few restaurants but enough for us to have different choices. One draw back is that there is not enough clothing stores available. Plus Macy's and Victoria's Secret closed their doors a while ago which as a bummer. Hopefully as Redmond n general is growing so much plus new businesses opening everywhere we might see new stores opening here. I can't wait to see it. I definitely recommend this street mall to people who wants to come and hang out with family and friends and maybe do a little bit is shopping. read more

Strolling through, you'll notice the pedestrian-friendly layout, which feels like someone tried to design a European plaza but got distracted by a Nordstrom Rack sale. Moms in Lululemon power-walk past biotech bros clutching cold brew, while teenagers loiter in that way that's somehow both apathetic and expensive. The fountain in the middle? A beacon for unleashed toddlers and over-caffeinated parents pretending they're totally fine. And of course, there's a cycling studio, because this is Redmond, where tech salaries and quads of steel go hand in hand. It's clean, it's weirdly charming, and it's just corporate enough to feel like Jeff Bezos might be watching. read more

Poorly designed mall and outdoor space, doesn't appear to be coherent in planning at all. Walk around any section of the mall and you won't find a single outlet or plug point anywhere, super frustrating since this is supposed to be a hanging out spot. 3 coffee shops with zero outside outlets to me means the mall designers and planners did not care to account for customer convenience. Barely anyone I know come here which isn't surprising - the lack of shaded places with easily accessible plug points and wifi access are missing, there's a lack of general directory in the right places which makes things complicated to find. The fountain in the center of concrete is a joke. Really disappointing overall and I do not recommend. read more

They've done quite a bit of work to spruce up this outdoor shopping center. I'm a little disappointed to see the maple trees gone, but it does make sense as it's usually too cold to sit in the shade. We like coming to RTC because it's close to our home and convenient to get there. The shops aren't too bad. But the anchor stores aren't around anymore; REI closed and Macy's left several years ago. Redmond Town Center is a neighborhood mall. Unless you live near there or unless they are hosting an event, you are unlikely to go there. Over the years since it first opened, I have watched it decline more than raise. Anchor retailers of Eddie Bauer, Macy's, REI, and Border's have either left or gone bankrupt. Ditto with other chain stores such as Victoria Secret, See's Candy, and Gymboree. Somehow, people come to eat restaurants but not to buy anything, which I really don't understand. The service and inventory at any of the chain stores have always been better than the same retailers in, say, Bellevue Square. When I am looking for something, I prefer RTC if the store is here. In the recent couple of years, they remodeled and closed the center street. Best decision ever! Kids play by the fountain all the time. Commonly on the weekend, there's some kind of activity here. On summer Saturdays, the farmers market is nearby. As a neighborhood mall, it really is a winner. I wish people would spend more here, especially shopping, to keep the retailers in business. read more

Truly a beautiful two-story shopping center with a relaxing ambience, but sadly has taken a toll with the e-commerce shift especially fueled by the pandemic. Over the years many of the businesses have been repeating the cycle of closing and being replaced; and even Bed Bath & Beyond is currently shutting down. It's a shame that the local stores struggle; a number of retail spaces are just empty now with others replaced by corporations like Fidelity. Most of the people come to dine and chill outdoors. There are plenty of chairs and tables, and the middle has a splash pad where children are often seen playing during summertime. The place is frequently cleaned. Public Wi-Fi, restrooms, and free parking in the adjacent garages are available. A nice center for the community, but honestly not one people would go out of their way to visit unless there's an event like the Pacific NW Chalk Fest or Redmond Lights. read more

I'm surprised to see RTC doesn't have 4+ stars overall! I've been here a couple times in the last couple weeks and I think it's a great little shopping center. I feel like if it was a tad bit bigger I could justify driving out here more often. They've got a movie theater, a few different eateries to choose from, one-of-a-kind local shops, and your big name stores (Bath + Body Works, PINK, etc.). I think it's a really cute shopping center, probably one of the nicest around. I especially right now, during the holiday season, because it's all decorated and they've got the giant Christmas tree right in the middle of everything. If you're in the area, I think it's definitely worth checking out. Whether you're killing time or just feel like doing some shopping, RTC is a great place to stop and check out! read more

Redmond Town Center is a nice little community, but is not a place I would come to do major shopping. There are only a few large stores, including Macy's, REI and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Many of the other shops are smaller boutiques. I usually come here if I know exactly what I need to pick-up as opposed to browsing through stores on a casual day of shopping. RTC has a few restaurants to choose from (I recommend Thai Ginger!) and is within walking distance from Cleveland Street which offers additional eateries. Parking is abundant as there is a large garage as well as a huge lot on the side facing Bear Creek Parkway. This past year, the main street that used to go through RTC is now a large walkway with seating areas and some lawn games (like shuffleboard) which is perfect for the warmer months. On a nice day, it's a great place to relax outside and catch up with a friend over lunch or coffee. read more

The architecture of this shopping center is actually wonderful, it's outdoor and is beautifully designed. Problem is that there's not a single store that is interesting enough for me to visit. I mainly just go here if I need somewhere to stroll my dog and this is a really safe neighborhood being located in Redmond where it's out of the way for crazies to wonder around. There's an exotic car show every Saturday in the summer with a farmer's market near by. Nice excuse to go see nice cars. Plenty of parking as this place never gets too crowded. Redmond Town Center perfectly reflects Redmond. It is not as huge as Bellevue Square mall but it does have some well known stores such as GAP, Macy's, Bath & Body Works. A lot of the other shops are smaller. Redmond is a city where Microsoft is head quartered. There is a lot of money here but also a lot of hard working families. Most of the building in the city have height restrictions. That is why you don't see the skyscrapers that are being built in Bellevue. Redmond has a lot of character and a small town feel. I get the same feeling when I go to this mall. I love the restaurant Golden Chopsticks on the 2nd floor. It is a family owned Chinese restaurant that has one large table for a big group and smaller tables for a date night. The iPic Movie theater is also fantastic. Great service and food delivered to you while you watch the movie! The fact that it is an open air mall is fantastic during the summer time. It also has enough covered areas and a parking garage so that when it rains you don't get wet...not like it ever rains here. Lol Highly recommend walking around here on a sunny day :) read more

A true three-star A-OK retail establishment. Lots of nice stores, lots of decent lunch spots if you live/work in the area. Cool theater--very well-appointed. There's also a regular multiplex, if memory serves. Parking isn't too bad, at least outside of peak lunch and dinner hours. There's a flow to the streets between parking lots, and the overlooking walkways from the second floor, that aims to give it a bit of architectural character. It's really just an extra-nice mall, but at least they're trying. Everything here is a bit overpriced, and the general attitude of the place varies from friendly and professional to flaky and occasionally snooty, depending on which business you're in. But it's clean and well-run, and some of these stores come in pretty handy sometimes. read more

This is a nice outdoor shopping area in downtown Redmond. I especially like visiting the Redmond Town Center for specific events, as the shopping center provides tons of free parking which is easy to find, including garage parking. It's not so much the selection of stores that has me visiting RTC, but more so the general layout of it. The plaza of the entire shopping center has fountains where kids are usually playing in and oftentimes on weekends, there's live music playing. It's a very inviting shopping centre that's serves as a town square. In the summer time, I especially like that they have outdoor beanbag toss games and hopscotch in the designated area that is used for ice skating in the winter! It's a very community-feel kind of atmosphere, which makes you a fan of Redmond. The shopping centre is two stories, with restaurants and an iPic here. Since Redmond is more so a family community, the RTC serves just that demographic with the selection of businesses here. There are tutoring center businesses, play areas for kids and kid-friendly restaurants. It's also walking distance to old Redmond and Marymoor Park, with a designated Lake Sammamish Trail, leading you along the way. Overall, this is a nice community-focused shopping center, perfect for Eastside families. read more

I recently moved to Redmond for the summer. I was super excited when I found out I live walking distance from a shopping/mall center. I was very disappointed. The Town Center is very empty and the stores located there are not very popular ones, except for the Macys, Bath & Body Works, and Gap. I wish the Town Center had more community activities and had better stores. I go there mostly just to get my Starbucks and walk back home. I like this shopping mall. I appreciate the fact that all of the stores and other businesses have an outward facing storefront, making it easier to find a place I'm looking for vs. a regular indoor mall. The movie theatre is nice and better than most in the area, although more expensive. Parking can get crammed easily here just on a weekday. The parking garage is far from the main shopping area. It's easy to get in and out with many entrances leading in to the mall. There are two levels and they have escalators and elevators for easy access. Macy's is the only department store. There's a hodge podge of restaurants. Many of the stores are locally owned, mixed in with things like Ann Taylor, Chico's and Gap. Claim Jumper's is gone, sigh. Use to have a really great Barnes & Noble here. Now I am here just for business lunches. I've seen a lot of businesses come and go through the last decade. The mall doesn't get the business that other malls do and I think part of it is the management hasn't figured out what kind of place it wants to be. read more

Usually, when I come here, it's alright. There's very limited options on what to actually do here, but they still have a decent variety. Almost everything closes pretty early, and the town center itself is actually really nice. But, today, I came and it smelled absolutely disgusting. I had a difficult time walking around the town center without just feeling completely nauseous. As I was walking around, and waiting in stores, I saw people walking around outside with their noses plugged, sometimes even running. Redmond Town Center is going through puberty. The place hasn't really figured out what kind of name it wants to have for itself. It's in a good place for consumers, but the stores don't really do it for me or anyone else at that. Compared to Bellevue Square, I usually see like 5% of the people there in Redmond Town Center. I do like how Redmond is going through it's changes though, to see what will work for them and to create an image for them. For December it seems like they have some cute events. They brought in a plastic ice rink, a merry go round and even brought Santa for the kids to take pictures with. Once Redmond figures out what kind of stores it wants to bring in, I think it'll be a great place to go to for shopping. If you're around the area, check out Redmond Town Center. This is a small outdoor shopping center in Redmond. I don't particularly like the stores very much here. The selection is small, and you can find a lot of these stores in other better shopping complexes. There are random food establishments but not really a food court here per se. The REI store and the Uncle's Games store are pretty nice. I am not fond of the rather small Macy's here though. read more

Summer time is great to visit, as its open space and during winters can get very cold to keep walking. Adds a level of fatigue! They host a lot of seasonal events, much of them are open to public without registration. So be sure to keep checking. Parking can get chaotic during such events and peak times! So be sure to factor in that in your visit, you could be going in circles for a spot! On a warm week day, this place is definitely recommended. read more

I love visiting here with my little one. It's not the best place to shop but it's good enough. We are mostly there to let our child play. Summer season the fountains are a fun place to hang around - the water is freezing cold but kids don't mind. Be sure to bring some cups or buckets if you plan to visit especially to splash. Very nice restaurant choices. My family loves The Original Pancake House and Thai Ginger. We are currently waiting for the Japanese steak place and Hong Noodles to open. Christmas Seasons they have Winter Wonderland where you they organize a lot of kid friendly activities like free carousel ride, ice skating, train ride, princess story time, Santa story time, etc. read more
