I've been to a few eye doctors in my life and this one is exceptional. Dr Wang is excellent in the care that she gives. She's prompt, attentive, and takes the time to explain everything regarding your questions/concerns, and vision health. Jacob is helpful when selecting frames and fitting them when complete. He's also a kick, watch for his humor! :) Evelyn is helpful when I call or email and I appreciate her prompt replies. Truly, this office is so kind. Not kids friendly. Though I had an appointment for all 3 kids, felt uncomfortable. The doctor took my advice to change the prescription for my 15 year old. Opted this place for due to convenient location. Going back to Paris Micky Optical's in cross roads Bellevue. Update: Irene from the Redmond Vision Clinic replied to my review. She did not remember if her office did ever had my kids over. I had to call her and remind her. Still we are not going back here. I found a better place and doctor for kids. Got my lesson no matter how far you have to go from home satisfaction is the priority. read more

That is incorrect. I was never offered to be seen at lunch. I was only offered a 3:45 appt which was 4.5 hours later. I understand you are busy and I was not expecting a full appt at that moment. All I wanted was a quick look from someone to tell me if it was an emergency or if it could wait until later. I even offered to wait until the current appt was over so the doctor could look real quick then I would come back later if needed. The attitude and lack of empathy from the front desk is why I am writing this complaint, not because you were busy and unable to see me right away. Good luck to you. read more

My wife and I needed eye exams. Scheduling was easy, and Dr. Koval spent extra time with us to ensure the vision measured is accurate. They also have cool technology to take photos of the eye, and examine what's happening inside your eyes. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back next year! read more

Wow! I can finally see! I went to an opthometrist before and suffered with a bad contact prescription for a long time before coming here. The staff is great and I have contacts that finally fit my eye comfortably along with some sweet eye glasses that make me look like a cooler rivers cuomo from Weezer. This place has 5 out of 5 stars on google so I went here instead of my old doctor and I am soo glad I did. Oh, and I missed my first appointment and the squeezed me in, NO PROBLEM! I just had a great experience at Redmond Vision Clinic. I was having a really horrible day and I was even considering cancelling my appointment, until I realized that I didn't have a good enough reason and so I went. In other words, I was not very happy when I walked in, and I just wanted to get it over with. Dr. Choi was super nice from the get-go, despite my frowning and unfriendly face. She spoke to me very professionally and warmly and I actually ended up leaving in a better mood. How often does *that* happen after a doctor's appointment? She chatted with me about insurances, given all the recent changes, and how it affected me. We talked about health issues and how they would impact eyesight. She was very knowledgeable and shared her knowledge freely. Instead of the alarming puff of air thing to test for glaucoma, they have this thing that feels like it gently taps on your eyelashes. Pretty awesome, because who would want a thing of air puffed into their eye when they're already having a bad day? In addition, they've got a machine that takes a digital image of your eye, so you don't have to do the dilation thing. Very cool. Dr. Choi showed me pictures of my eye, along with pictures of unhealthy eyes based on the illnesses in my family. I would definitely recommend coming here. I didn't check out their eyeglass selection, as I'm happy with the frames I have, so I can't speak to that. They're totally cool with you taking your prescription elsewhere. Previously, I've had people actually try and fight me on taking my prescription. Overall, just very professional and very friendly. read more

This was my first time at Redmond Vision Clinic. When I find a service that I like I stick to it--for instance, I've been going to the same dentist for 25 years due to the great service I received. I'm confident that the same will hold true for this clinic. My optometrist Jennifer was knowledgeable, friendly, and offered relevant suggestions. When she learned of an issue that I had with another clinic in recently filling an older prescription she offered to help when she could have simply (and appropriately) declined, and she didn't. Annual checkup with state of the art equipment. The Doctor is very personable and professional. Decided to replace my 6 year old frames. Very good selection and the optician most helpful in helping me select a frame that was mostly covered by my insurance plan. I picked them up on Monday and he did a great job with final adjustments. read more

I went in to have my prescription put into my glasses. Jennifer Wang was very condescending. She was very unfriendly and not helpful. Some disabled older guy came from the back was even worse. The receptionist kept rolling her eyes. It was really a bad experience. The eyeglass/frames collections are expensive and very limited. I had visited other stores etc. Costco in the same area which has many more eyeglasses/frames with range of prices. Hence the clinic is probably not meant for the folks who are not looking for expensive-only eye-hardware. Nevertheless, I've found Dr. Jennifer Choi very good during my consultation. So, I will recommend her for the eye-exam. read more

The selection in house isn't fantastic but they are very willing to help you or order if they can. They dont try and sell you stuff that isn't a huge benefit to you either which is a relief. I uses bifocal contacts and have difficulty getting the lenses right for the past few years. I have changed doctors a few times because of that. I have seen Dr. Koval and Dr. Wang-Choi several times over the last 5 months for rechecks after seeing them earlier this year. Even though there is a gap between my initial service, they are very patient and work with me to better my vision under warrantee. And, appointments are always easy to get (usually the same day). They also uses newer equipment. It took a few tries and several communication for them with the lens provider, they got me a better vision. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

We needed our yearly exam, and we were able to get in in a few days. Very friendly staff. The doctor was very personable and did a great job of explaining everything to us. This was our second visit to this office in the last year and the experience has been the same. We were previously at another clinic that had changed staff and the service became degraded, so we're very pleased to have found Redmond Vision Clinic. The one downside is the parking next to the office can be fairly limited at peak times, but you can park on the other side of the building which is usually open. read more

I had a new prescription from another eye doctor. A co-worker referred this office to me for my new glasses. The selection was poor. When I made a choice the sales rep tried to talk me out of it due to her style preference. The glasses I chose have been a nightmare with peeling paint and will not stay adjusted. I went back to the shop 2 times and they were not helpful in resolving my issue. I have never had these issues in 30 years of wearing glasses. Thankfully my vision benefits just started over and I can shop somewhere else. read more

I had a serious eye issue and was in some terrible pain. I found Redmond Eye Clinic's website and is specifically said if you have an urgent issue we will "take care" of you and Dr Wang sure did. I am extremely satisfied and thankful that Dr Wang made time for me, my own eye doctor would not. That really matters to me and Dr Wang is now my eye doctor. The office gal was also very nice and patient with me when I was in pain. Thank you very much. I appreciate Dr. Wang being there when I needed her. I love RVC. They are a neighborhood provider and truly seem to care about their patients. The doctors are great. They work with my entire family (5 of us in glasses and contacts) and we all love them. My favorite part of RVC though is Luiza and Alex. They are SO helpful! I am constantly refilling prescriptions and contact orders and they are incredibly kind, service oriented and friendly. We've been with RVC for three years and can't say enough about the service they provide. read more

Honestly, I do not like going to doctors, including eye docs, but Dr. Wang put me at ease immediately. She has such a nice demeanor, and really cares about your eye and overall health.
