The bakery Dept has many types of rolls and cakes. The carrot cake is very good and the store is clean and well maintained

I've been coming to this Aldi since it opened YEARS ago, and I should've written a positive review…read moremuch sooner. Today, I shopped for frozen and meats at my favorite store before going to pick up the kids from nana and pop pops house. Well, I ended up locking my purse (with phone), groceries, and keys in the car with a turned ON ignition. How my car locks with the ignition on is beyond me! George, who was a shift manager I believe, allowed me to use his personal phone and stood with me for 30 minutes in the parking lot as I frantically tried to go through the ropes with AAA and my husband. He was so patient and kind to me, while I was so nervous and disheveled. It was dusk and it was starting to get chilly, so I wasn't prepared for the shift of temperature. The one staff member was leaving for the day and she asked if I was going to be OK, if I needed anything. A fellow shopper came up to me and asked if she could give me a ride anywhere, close by to family or friends so I wasn't stuck for hours outside. I ended up waiting 2 hours for AAA to arrive (which was 2 hours earlier than estimated, so THANK GOD) and then George replaced my kids' frozen ice cream sandwiches. I LOVE THIS ALDI SO MUCH. If I move, I will go out of my way to come here unless it requires a flight. They are the Chick Fil A of grocery stores. Hope this review helps you decide. ..... Hey! What are you still doing here? Get over to Trooper Road Aldi! Don't forget your reusable bags =)

My BFF had mentioned Aldi numerous times over the years, but I never went it. I'm not a brand snob,…read morebut I was certainly skeptical. I finally gave it a shot and I never looked back. For Aldi newbies here's some information for you: 1. Bring your own bags or pay .10 per bag, 2. Bring a quarter to get a cart. You get it back when you return it to the corral. 3. They take cash and debit, so leave the credit card at home. 4. You bag your own stuff 5. Just because it was there last week, doesn't mean it will be there the next. The store is primarily generic, but there is some name brand items sprinkled throughout. The quality of the food is great. The produce section is decent and quality is high. You save some good money. I typically save $10-$20 per visit. Don't expect to get everything on your list, because the selection is limited. But it's worth having to go to two stores and save the money. Aldi is a part of my weekly shopping. I usually go there first and get everything I can and then head to my 2nd store. I highly recommend giving Aldi a shot.

They didn't have a few things that I normally get from my other Trader Joe's, so that was very disappointing, but the store was well stocked. I would go back if I was in the area.

People used to read the Joe cartoons and think it was novel, lol. Soon, alternative-type grocery stores were en vogue, and that trend lives today. Staff is professional, not smartarse like Media TJ's. They work hard, and products are thoughtfully made, with consideration for food politics, and TJ's always comes in at an attractive price. This store is always clean, organized, and promptly being stocked. It's always insanely busy and customers are selfish and pushy. I've seen stock put out and grabbed from the hands of employees, until nothing's left. People are d!cks in line, too. No courtesy to others ahead of you if a new line opens. Acme customers have better manners. But this happens at the Media and Concord TJ's stores too. In decades of TJ's experience, most TJ's customers in the Philly area are pretentious a-holes and for this reason, I go as seldom as possible. Then again, WF customers overlap and pretty much suck too. Something about alternative supermarkets brings out the worst in people (or locals are just the worst people). Gateway is a NIGHTMARE with parking pretty much all the time. The weird exit where you snake through the end of the center and wait in line for 10minutes to make any left, my God! Could they not have figured out any other way to merge with the 202 off ramp? Even a 5 points down there by the exit would make better sense. Off ramp drivers are already dangerous and stupid there, and there is NEVER any shortage of selfish local men in designer cars cutting off EVERYONE. Yes, it's normally men here... it's women on 30. The parking lot is a dumpster fire!

I don't exactly love loading a cart, loading my car and carrying my stuff inside, so getting rid of two of those jobs makes my life easier and my back happier. Now, laziness aside, BJs is great for a few other reasons. The muffins are delicious. The potatoes are priced well and they're huge. Perfect for baking. I prefer the BJs store brand paper towels to the other warehouse store people rave about. The chuck and brisket hamburger patties are the best burger patties I've had in years. Far and away better, and a better value, than any other grocery hamburgers in the area. Their spreadable butter is great and so cheap. Same with the giant tub of sour cream and the single serving hummus cups. The pastry and cookie trays are always crowd pleasers. I've gotten a lot of good deals on seasonal candies, and a markdown deal on a piece of outdoor furniture was so good I was giddy. All this to say, don't sleep on BJs when it comes to warehouse store memberships. There's a lot of good stuff here.
