We recently tried the meat lasagna from Carlino's and were very disappointed. It was quite expensive but mostly pasta with very little meat and NO flavor. We threw it out. Both my spouse and I felt it was bland and not worth the price. We were considering ordering it for a family event this Sunday, but after trying it we decided to scrap that idea. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the lasagna. Finding parking is a challenge and hassle. The bake at home pizza and the breads are excellent.

Picked up few items for dinner recently and also got cannoli cake, wow it was delicious! Although they are not shy with the price, but I think it's worth it to treat yourself and friends once awhile.

Honestly, what can you say bad about Carlino's? Nothing. If you are looking for an Italian specialty store, look no further. They just keep expanding and improving. I have been coming here for 25 years and everything is great. I have a friend who would visit me from New York York bring a cooler so she could stock up and take it back with her. Their bread and rolls are fresh and fabulous. A huge selection of cheeses, meats, and fresh pasta. There's a whole display of already prepared foods that you can buy by the pound. The tomato pie is great too. The desserts are fantastic. The cannoli and Italian cookies are the best. If you are in the area, stop by. You will not be disappointed.

This place is BYOB! Not Bring your own bottle, Not Bring your own Bag, but rather BRING YOUR OWN BOX. For $47, this is how you get a cake from Carlino's Market in Ardmore. Too bad they can't even afford an appropriately sized box. No good. Next time I won't even accept this. Cannot recommend this place at this point.

I took it with a grain of salt, because 12 year olds are not notorious for their discerning palate. He was kind enough to bring me a menu, and off we went! We ordered (5) wings to start (student loved them). They were good--have had better. I ordered the cheese steak, was piping hot when we picked it up, a respectable amount of meat and extra cheese as ordered--very good. My husband ordered the Curry Goat. It was excellent. Tender pieces of goat (on the bone, think small little riblets) with a flavorful yet not too spicy curry sauce, rice and bean mix and excellent fried cabbage. The ratio of beans to rice was a tad low, but still very good. It is an unassuming storefront among row homes, neighbors hanging out on stoops and such were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

It was amazing! I couldn't stop thinking about it the next day, so I had to come back for lunch! This time I tried the oxtail, and curry goat. My favorite was the Jamaican jerk chicken, but the Oxtail and curry chicken were very good as well! I wasn't a big fan of the goat, but it had nothing to do with the cooking though. Just too many little bones in it. Loved the beans and rice! Probably the best I've ever had! Great find, will definitely return!

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at McCaffrey's Market in Doylestown. This is…read morenow the second time I've raised the same concern, and it's honestly becoming very frustrating. During my visit, I saw a meat department employee wearing his store smock go directly into the restroom. From a hygiene and food safety standpoint, that's very concerning. I brought it to the manager's attention, and while he said he would "say something," there didn't appear to be any follow-through. The employee came back out still wearing the same smock, and nothing seemed to change. What makes this worse is that this isn't the first time I've mentioned it. When customers take the time to raise legitimate concerns--especially involving food handling and cleanliness--it should be taken seriously and addressed immediately. On a personal level, situations like this are stressful, especially for those of us who are mindful of health concerns. You expect a certain standard when shopping for food, and right now, that confidence just isn't there. For a store that promotes itself as high-quality, I expect better hygiene practices, better management response, and better accountability.

This review is specifically about the hot chicken soup. It was very dissatisfying. The meat…read moretasted like it had been frozen and then thrown into hot water/broth. The flavor was dull. The ingredients were overcooked. I called the store to inquire if it was homemade or from a restaurant supply; it is from Cisco. The gentleman I spoke with apologized and suggested that I leave this review, for what it's worth. I did not ask nor was I offered a refund or store credit. This store has pros and cons, like them all, but this was the first disappointing experience I've had there.
