Redners has done really great products. Their fried chicken is excellent, the doughnuts are fantastic and be many other excellent options. I really like their premade Italian hoagie. They have 3 sizes , 6 inch , 12 inch and a gigantic 24 inch size that is enough for a party. read more

Had a scary moment was racially profiled by 3 Redners white male employees. Omg every isle I walked in they were there never saying anything, making me extremely uncomfortable. It's year 2022 I'm just shocked that this behavior is still going on. I had just got off a 12 hour shift from my Postal job and was wearing my uniform. Redners is not my usual grocery store, but I pass it on the way home from work. When you walk in your hit with a loud blast of constant country music. There were white female employees, none acknowledged me, just gave me crazy stares. It kind of gave me a 1950's Jim Crow vibe. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe in this store. When I got home I told my son about my scary experience, My son preceded to tell me about an incident he experienced when checking out at this Redners in the self checkout register. A female walked over and opened his bags, peeked inside and walked away without saying anything. My son was in shocked that someone would do that. She never provided my son an explanation or apology. My son advised me that incident left him disturbed and he never went back to this store. He didn't want to upset me so he never told me until now. This behavior racially profiling black customers without any explanation is disgusting and disturbing. I advise anyone black or brown especially a female to not shop at Redners. If you do go you may want to make sure you have someone with you. I was really scared shopping alone at night with 3 white males following me. If you are looking for a high end / specialty grocery store like a Wegman's, Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, don't come here. But if you are looking for your food staples for your family meals at a great price, then I would highly recommend this place. For some reason, Redner's has a reputation of being similar to WalMart. I totally disagree with this perception. I find the layout of the store logical and the place is clean. The managers take their job seriously and walk the store consistently to make sure that everything is right. When I compare the prices at Redner's versus the other grocery stores like Giant, Genuardis, SuperFresh ..., Redner"s wins the price war. BTW, it's called a warehouse market, but there are no membership cards needed. They just give you a great selection for a great price. read more

Went to the cashier with package of meat with manager's special stickers, but, no price. Head cashier told me "I don't know Where You Got This, but, we don't have those stickers. I can't sell you this. Not my first bad experience in the North Wales store, but, my last. Ever. I've bought bad food from there, but, That was humiliating. read more

The first time I stopped in Redner's was 3 years ago for a pumpkin for the Fall season. I was impressed by their selection and pricing. There were a few more times I've been in since then, and each time I found something else I liked such as the bakery. Redners does not set out to compete with Wegmans, Whole Foods, or Trader Joes. The ambiance is pretty lacking, I'm pretty sure they imported their decor from my neighborhood Farmer Jack (MI represent!) in 1987. But it's clean. Their customer service is hit or miss; there is a herd of cart retrieval boys that do nothing but drink gallons of Turkey Hill and loiter back in "ethnic food." BUT- They get a whole extra star for the fact that they sell VERNORS (and Diet V) this side of the Pop/Soda line. *Choirs of Angels* It's with the O'Douls, and it is a pricey $4.99/ 6 pack leading me to believe that they don't know what it is. While I prefer to run mine across the state from OH like any self respecting ex-Midwesterner, it's a comfort to know it can be purchased in a pinch. Other fun treats: Crunchies Pretzels (only .99!) and the entire line up of A-Treat soda. In a blind taste test, my husband declared their potato chips to be "The BEST! Probably fried in the fat of baby seals, but I don't care." Blue Bunny Ice cream too. A nice variety of PA produced brands, which is great to see. Snacks and soda are what I specifically go there for. But as they're 24 hours, I've dashed in for the occasional odd item. I've never bought meat, and they seem pretty average on the grocery items. Produce is limited to the standards: iceberg, tomatoes, apples, onions...etc. You're not going to find bok choy or even bulb garlic. But if you need a gallon of milk, or pedalyte at 2am, they've got you covered. read more

What's so special about this place? Nothing other than the fact that it's local. Pros: 1. Local grocery store to buy shit. Cons 1. When you enter the place it smells like vegetable seeds( I mean come on) 2. Ridiculous and fatigued theme of the place based on the fact that employees seem like they don't take a shower and don't get enough nutritious food. 3. Cant say anything bad here. It's your average grocery store with just about anything you'd want. While I don't shop here every week, I come fairly often. Oh ya'. and you don't need a frequent shopper card to get the sale prices but a card will earn you some gas discounts. 4.5 stars for not needing another darn key tag! read more

Their produce is absolute crap. Servers times I have bought it to find it rotten already upon opening. If not rotten selections are hard as a rock or tastless. Employees are anything but friendly and the supervision and loss prevention are incompetent at best as well as rude and cold. I wouldn't take their products if you paid me to. I have shopped at Redners since I was a child when I would go with my parents. I remember Redners reputation for having the best sales on butter and sugar. In my adult years I grew to appreciate redners for their cheap frozen food options, however their produce section would make me break out in cold sweats at the shear over-pricing. I recently visited my local redners because it's the only store I can find fresh crab meat not in a can. I needed it for my mango crab salad recipe. My final missing ingredient was a mango so I caved and went to the treacherous produce section to get a mango. I found one that seemed good by the feel. Fast forward 2 hours, I am making the dish and cut open the mango. It is rancid and smells of rot. I cannot put it in my beutiful salad in knowlege it will taint my salad. All the other over priced ingredients I purchased from this grocer were fine and I will return for the crab meat assuming other markets do not resume carrying it. No more mangos though! read more

So, since my first review I really haven't gone to Redner's. Unfortunately, I had to stop for a few items. The shopping experience wasn't too bad. Everything was in stock. The problem was when I got home I realized that they sold me milk that was expired by 2 days. When I called to speak to the manager about this issue all I got was that the manager was busy and so I had to talk to someone in customer service. She did apologies and said that if I came back with my receipt and the milk that they would either exchange it or refund my money. What about the extra time I have to take out of my schedule in order to get this milk replaced? Is the employee responsible for the dairy section going to be held accountable for not doing their job or is this just a practice that this Redner's does in order to sell items? I will never know because I was unable to talk to the manager of the store. As a Redner's card holder I am done with this store and after returning my milk I will never step foot in it again. I will take the extra 10 minutes to drive to Giant in Hatfield to do all my grocery shopping. read more

I have been shopping at the North Wales/Lansdale Redners for years, I mostly shop there for decent prices, but lately some things have been ify. I bought chicken with a sale date of December 4 and tried to cook it December 5th. It smelled off, so there went $5.00. This week, the price of soy milk went up .50 per half gallon. That's at least a 30% increase. It's getting more difficult for me to continue to shop there. Hope things improve. read more

Ineptitude is the culture of this workplace. I was there on 12/4/2015 to get a handful of items yet the cashier forgot to put 2 candy bars into my cart. She at least came out to the parking lot with them. Two days later I purchased a medium size order and the cashier forgets a bag of 6 fried chicken breasts. When I called the store after arriving home, customer service said someone attempted to locate me in the parking lot. I don't believe this since I didn't instantaneously load 12 bags into my trunk. The staff requires babysitting. read more
