Typically, shopping at Redner's is a good experience. Today, however, was the exception. In the dairy section, I had to sort the milk to find one not expired. The employee in the area came over to inform me I had placed the cartons in backwards and not in a nice way. Then the cashier we went to was very unfriendly, actually miserable. It's probably time to begin shopping at Giant. I've accepted the terrible prices, but to receive terrible service on top of it is something I can't accept. Old rubbery produce. Rotten lemons, rotten avocados. Wrinkled apples. Zombies who work there. Nobody ever thanks me for my purchase in this local store. I buy modern health food which they seem to have more of lately. but their produce is old and disgusting. Cut any onion and it's dried out and 8 months old. They don't dump their produce and replenish. They sell all the old rubbery stuff at top dollar. we Stopped buying a long time ago but today I got a rubbery cucumber so it made me realize ot hasn't changed a bit. read more

I tried their $6 chicken tender and fries combo. It so worth it. I'm absolutely stuffed. Their tenders are massive and juicy. They're light on flavor but I just use ketchup. But for the price and size, it's worth it big time. read more

I shop here daily. best prices on groceries. their produce has gotten better in quality over the past year. I am tired of all the dogs (pets not service dogs) in the store. it is against store policy but the employees don't enforce it. this is a food store not a pet store. I may have to change where I shop. read more

Had my first experience with a Redner's and I was absolutely impressed. I usually go to the big quantity stores but stopped at Northampton's Redner's. I am not from PA and I have heard about ring bologna and really wanted to try it. I did ask at my usual store about it and was directed where I could purchase it but nothing more. Kayla the assistant deli manager at Redner's filled my request without hesitation. I didn't want to put the store or her out but she stopped what she was doing, showed me the various kinds and with the managers approval gave me a taste! Oh and I loved it!!!! Could not ask for more! This location was my first introduction to Redners, as I had friends who got their entire order here. Redners is a local chain, owned by its employees and it shows. I always head to Redners if I'm looking for local produce, or want an excellent selection of A-Treat sodas for cheap. I have been consistently disappointed with their meat, which doesn't seem to move. Their bakery is great though. They're big push is that you don't need a membership card to save and I do find that some items are priced lower than other stores - especially regularly priced items. Good bulk selection as well. read more

This store is fine in a pinch and for dry/canned foods and household items. Their produce on the other hand is not great at all. The store is not organized well and on the older side. Wish they would do some updating as this is the closest grocery store to me. I end up driving over 20 minutes to Wegmans or Giant to get my produce each week instead of shopping here. read more

wow - Hopefully someone reads this soon but if anyone there knows who the girl working the self checkout at 205 pm today, Sunday August 04 is, fire her immediately. If shes being paid to stand there and look depressed, promote her, otherwise can her. No help whatsoever and an I don't care at all attitude. I HATE this store, and that is being more than kind. I went to use Apple Pay which the store states that they accept and the Card Reader wouldn't accept the NFC on not one register, but two. Then I was told that certain ones don't accept the Apple Pay, even though is says to Tap at each one that was tried. She also said that they change their card readers so many times that it's hard to know which ones are able to take the Apple Pay. The store is overpriced and some employees are less than helpful. The store has been in need of a makeover for more than 10 years. read more
