This venue has an awesome sound system. The staff are pleasant helpful in the parking lot, the entrance and with directions to your seat. I came during Christmas holiday to see the iconic, Debbie Allen's Hot Chocolate NutCracker. Plenty of free parking. Clean bathrooms and comfortable seating.

It's a lovely venue for musicals. I've seen my sister and niece in Beauty and the Beast and my sister in Mary Poppins (twice) here. The theater itself is fairly large, but the stage is wide, and because you enter from the side rather than from the back of the theater, it feels very intimate. The acoustics are great as well. There's a large lobby, but it's set up more as an overflow area than a true lobby, which ideally should be designed to encourage people to move people in and out of the theater while also keeping them from blocking the bathrooms. Unfortunately, the bathrooms can be difficult to get to during intermission, and most people tend to congregate here. There are also restrooms in the theater's tiny patio, but you need to exit the theater in the opposite direction from how you came in (to the right as you're facing the stage), but very few people seem to know about these bathrooms, so there's a pro tip for you. They also tend to sell snacks outside, or at least they did with the company my sister and niece performed with. I don't think snacks are allowed in the theater itself, which is why they sell them outside rather than in the lobby. One of the most charming parts of all three shows I've seen here are when the cast comes out into the lobby after the show in full costume. My sister played three different parts in the three shows I've seen her in, and each required an English accent. It was so adorable seeing all the little kids come up to her in the lobby and have her mildly scold or compliment them in her goofy but accurate (to my American ear) cockney. They were amazed in a magical way because most other cast members, while still in costume, weren't still in character. It was almost as if my sister were a living, breathing teapot/maid/bird woman. The parking lot is pretty large, but if you get here late, you might have to park in the overflow parking, which is technically in a different parking lot even though you can access it without getting back onto the street. My advice is to arrive early so that you don't have to deal with that.

I have been a lifelong Brian Mcknight fan. I vividly remember listening to his music as a young man pretty religiously. I think I may have stolen his CD from my mother and a new fan was not! Fast-forward 30 years, I get a message from my wife asking if I would like go go see Mr. Mcknight live. Knowing how much I hate crowds of people and the hassle of getting into and out of LA triggers my anxiety. When she told me where he'd be playing, I knew it would be a small venue and being in my 40's going to see a 90's, 00's R&B/pop star, I knew the crowd would be +\- 10 years of my age range which was perfect no rowdy crowds of young knuckleheads looking to cause trouble... Just a mature group of fans! Getting inside was fast and easy. Plenty of parking, 2 or 3 ways into the parking lot, no crazy lines to get inside. We arrived 20-30 min before the show was to start and literally got our tickets scanned, took a bathroom break and went in to sit in our seats. The auditorium is large, yet small enough to feel intimate. We sat around 10 or 12 rows back on the isle next to the door so it was great seating. We were close enough to the stage to see every detail which was amazing. The bathrooms were and facility was clean. I have zero complaints and if it wasn't so far away, is gladly attend another event there.

I came to see Jay Leno in the speaker's series. This is my first time coming here. There was a large crowd to see Jay Leno. He did his standup comedy followed by a Q and A interview. I have seen Leno live 3 times before. Most of his act was new material. The last part was familiar. The show was very enjoyable. Lots of laughter in the room. The Redondo Beach Performing Arts is a lovely venue. Seats are comfortable. Lots of free parking in their lots. Come and enjoy a show!!

I have been here several times, mostly for dance competitions. This performing arts center has plenty of seating, a huge stage and average sized lobby. The sound system is good accompanied by excellent lighting. The parking lot is not adequate for the size of the venue. I have always had a difficult time looking for a place to park when I attend. Otherwise, I have enjoyed the times I attended.

This is a great theater, and the shows they put in are just phenomenal! I was blown away when I went to see Matilda here a few months ago. The place is clean, including the bathrooms, and the seats are perfect! We had orchestra seats and had a great view of everything. The concessions are a little expensive, and bought in bulk from Costco, which isn't a big deal, but no food allowed in the theater, so finish yo your snacks before curtain call! Pro tip: there are always discount codes you can use when purchasing your tickets, so keep a lookout! Unfortunately we found out after we bought the tickets, but very useful to know for future purchases.

The Theater: Very decent size theater. Very well maintained. Good sound effect. Big stage. The Service: They sell drinks and snacks. All the staffs are very friendly. The Parking: Big parking lot sharing with the park. Free parking.

A nice venue with great parking and right off the 405 freeway, so is totally convenient. I went to a New Year's Eve party here as well as saw Pat Benatar in concert here. This is the South Bay Beach Cities finest auditorium and events center.

    It's gonna be a total 90s night ;)

Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, "you're all that and a bag of chips!" Haha, did I just say that? That's is what happens when you go to a concert at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and it's a total blast from the past from the 90s. My friends and I attended the All-4-One and Color Me Badd concert last night here and had a blast! Parking was nice and easy and we got in pretty quickly. The venue was spacious and clean. Both the lighting and sound system were great. We had excellent seats (front orchestra, row C1) so we had a total clear view of the stage and the performers. I now have the songs Heaven, All for Love and I Swear on repeat...lol, thanks for taking me back to the memories of school dances ,Redondo Beach Performing Arts! So "heaven oh heaven" "I do it all for love" and "I swear" I'll be be back here cuz "word up" this place is "da bomb." ;).

Does the center sale alcoholic drinks and/or food during concerts?

During the past few years that I have been coming here, I have not seen the selling or purchase of food of beverages though it is allowed to be brought into the lobby but not the inside auditorium

Haven't been here in over 20 years. It went into a halt during Covid and started running again…read more This is my first time back since a long time ago. I still have the plumeria plant/tree I bought from here, as well as some souvenirs. It's a free event. There were tons of vendors. It almost looked too commercialized and touristy with so many vendors selling souvenirs; clothes, accessories, art, handicrafts, etc. They also have food vendors on the other side. The middle had an activity center where you can learn to make a lei or some sort of handmade item. The vendors imo were too scrunched up against one side of the park and the two isles of tents, people had to squeeze in between which was too hot to navigate around people. Vendor items were too pricey. Items that are made in the Philippines are sold at very high prices. The vendors say it's imported prices, however I think they probably bring these in themselves yearly from a supplier for cheap and resell for really high, because they're there every year. The only thing memorable were the performers and hula dancers on stage which we only saw for a few minutes before leaving due to the heat. The weather was EXTREMELY HOT. It is mid July, but it was SO HOT that I didn't even stay long. It was unbearable. Not much shade except those that have already been taken along the sides. I was in and out of there. People do bring canopies and tents as well as chairs, but there was no wind whatsoever. Got lucky with parking because of someone I knew was a staff next door at the college. They do have street parking if you get there early but it was already very crowded by the time it was 10:30-11a.m. It was packed. Getting in also has a long line if you want to pay for parking to borrow the part of the schools parking lot. Got there within an hour of the event starting, and already a lot of people coming and going. By 11a.m. a lot of people were already leaving and got what they wanted. I think people left due to the heatwave. Overall, too hot of an outdoor event with minimal cover from the sun. No wind, just sweaty and hot weather. Only tents were the vendors, so gotta walk around in hot air. It's a free event (just pay parking if needed). It landed during the 2026 FIFA Finals weekend so not sure how that Sunday turned out.

It brought back so many fond memories of attending with my family and friends every year. As time passes it's hard to get everyone together. Hubby and I went for a peaceful day at the park. We attended the second day of the festival. Lots of merch vendors plenty to see, touch, feel. The hard part was deciding on which color lol. A smaller stage with covered seating area located in the back. Food vendors lined along the pathway. Malasadas! Chocolate filled?! Yes please! We tried all the flavors and chocolate was the favorite. Hot and fresh so good. I did have to dust a little sugar off like a beignet because I wanted that oozing chocolate.. divine! Manapua was aight.. I know they could do better. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. No attitudes at these festivals only kind and caring. You can bring your own water which is so nice especially during the summer. Get there early for a shady spot to set up your chairs, blankets or og bamboo mats. Parking was $10 in the parking structure. Lots of handicap parking spots reserved in the front. It was nice to see these accommodations. The structure is the length of the park so there's lots of space. If you get there early enough you can also park on the sidewalk or at the other end of the park with a little further walk to avoid fees. Mobile bathrooms with outdoor wash station. All of the performances were so beautiful. Listening to the island music and watching the performers brought the ohana vibes with the island spirit of aloha. Live musicians and MC were the cherry on top. Keeping that peaceful harmony flowing throughout the whole day.

My very first visit was as a small child, for the Saturday afternoon children's matinee in the 2054 seat Marsee Auditorium. For just 10 cents(!!) we were able to watch a great movie (often Disney) and have a really fun afternoon! I have returned for numerous performances since, including to see entertainment legends: Victor Borge and Bob Hope, but I digress. I had seen it before, but it's been years and as my mom isn't getting any younger, spending more time with her is always a good thing. As we lined up to enter the theater, the ushers in their nicely pressed black slacks and white long sleeve shirts, were very helpful and almost insistent about showing each person to their seat. The theatre looks as if it's been "refreshed" recently, as the paint and upholstery on the seats, along with the carpet on the floor looked new. The seats were comfortable too. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/el-camino-college-campus-theatre-torrance?select=gmhXevW-0WCsX6Cln1Thaw OVERALL: Everything about the performance was quite good and very professional, especially when you consider this is a community college. From the live orchestra, to the lighting, the set and props, to the sound, but especially the performers, just awesome! 5 stars!
