We switched to Fifth Row this year and enrolled in 2 classes: Hip-hop and Jazz. She liked that she was learning dances to fun modern songs such as Taylor Swift and Barbie. With 2 classes, she is part of the dance "Crew" team. The studio hosts Cast/Company/Crew events a few times a year on a Sunday afternoon they have the girls get together at the studio to do bonding activities including learning a dance routine. Each of the get-together's had a theme such as a holiday party where they did a white elephant gift exchange and they brought treats for the girls. My daughter really looks forward to those events and the nice thing is the studio hosts these at no extra charge. Another thing they do at no extra charge is have a few extra rehearsals when it gets closer to the recital date. As a parent, it made me happy to see my daughter get excited about going to her dance studio. My daughter loves her dances so much that she wants to perform them at every family get together. She is so proud to show off her routines! We are really looking forward to her recital show next month! There is a reason I keep coming back for more. I have learned techniques (not just moves) that make me a better follow. I am now learning how to lead.
