If I could give this place a half star, I probably wouldn't. Being as though 1 star is the lowest,…read moreI will just have to give that. This is by far the most, RACIST, OVERPRICED, SCAM AUTOMOTIVE SHOP IN ALL OF DELAWARE. The service center manager is by far the most ignorant employee I've ever encountered. I had an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience here. I brought my vehicle in for an exhaust and sensor installation service. The shop removed my original catalytic converters, but then claimed the replacement parts would not fit and refused to complete the job. Despite the work being left completely unfinished and my car being returned to me disassembled with the exhaust disconnected, they still demanded full payment on top of an additional $175 which bought the total to over $800.00 just to put the old converter back in. Not to mention, this same shop initially quoted me $500.00 for the job. When I dropped the car off, they called me about 25 mins later saying that after they inspected the car, they have to charge another $175 which bought the total to $675, that I AGREED TO PAY. Then about a hour later, they called me again saying that the parts do not fit. Of course I acknowledged and thanked the mechanic for his work and showing me how the converters were incorrect which I acknowledged. This same mechanic told me that they charge $160.50 for labor PER HR, they took my converter off within 90mins, even if they charged for labor, let's say another 2 hrs, how is that even remotely close to $800.00. This same mechanic is the one that told me, he broke off one of my bolts and how it's going to cost more to put the old converter back in, which is NOT MY FAULT AND I SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE AFTER YOU JUST CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $175 ALREADY. When I raised concerns, the management was unprofessional, hostile, and escalated the situation. Then when I asked the shop manager why was he rude and charging me for an incomplete job, he responds, IT DOESN'T MATTER, IM THE SHOP MANAGER. What in the actual F*** is that suppose to mean Mr. Joseph F Frassico, the shop manager. So you can just charge people whatever you feel like because you have their car in your possession and because you are the shop manager. I posted a video of him saying this. Driving a car with a completely disconnected exhaust system is a major safety and fire hazard. I strongly advise getting any repair quotes and agreements in writing and looking elsewhere for reliable service and trustworthy service. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DO NOT GO. The shop should be called, STOP-HELL-NO!!!!!! I posted a couple photos of the D***Heads who claim to be in charge and provided the worse customer service imaginable. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I brought my Ford Escape to Carman Ford because I had a nail in my tire. After looking at it, they…read moretold me the tire was irreparable and needed to be replaced. They also recommended all 4 new tires. cool! I explained to Jevon at the front desk that I have a tire-specific extended warranty through Assurant that covers repair or replacement when a tire cannot be repaired. Instead of contacting Assurant to verify my coverage, Jevon told me they only cover "things with fluids in them, like engines." I told him that was incorrect because I specifically purchased tire coverage. When I asked if anyone had actually called Assurant, I was initially told his admin had called. After I questioned that, the explanation changed and I was told that the mechanic just "knows what they cover and don't cover." At that point, I was frustrated and asked for my vehicle back. While waiting for my car, I CALLED ASSURANT MYSELF. They confirmed that YES, my warranty covers tire replacement when the tire is determined to be irreparable, exactly what Carman Ford had just told me about my tire. When Jevon came outside, I told him I had just spoken with Assurant and confirmed the replacement was covered. His response was, "Oh, well do you want me to go back and tell the mechanic?" Why should the CUSTOMER have to call the warranty company, verify the coverage, and then educate the dealership about it? What made the experience even more concerning was that while speaking with Jevon, I noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. I asked him if he had been drinking that morning. He said no, that he drank the night before, and then asked me, "Why, do I smell?" I told him yes, he smelled like alcohol. He responded that he would go get a mint and apologized. I'm only stating exactly what I personally observed and what was said to me. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. Had I trusted the information I was given and paid for the tire myself, I could have paid out of pocket for something my warranty covers. I brought my Ford Escape to a Ford dealership because I expected professional service and for my warranty coverage to at least be VERIFIED before I was told it wasn't covered. Extremely disappointing experience.
