After their below standard customer service by Sid, who not only could care less about their shoddy service, but proved incapable of understanding that someone had to move most of an apartment to accommodate for their ineptitude to do what they were hired to do in the first place. This story has a happy ending, though thanks to Magic Carpet coming through at the last minute to remedy my situation. Arthur, Drake and Jay were outstanding the way the installed carpet and had my place ready in a couple of hours!! Like true knights in shining armor. (notice one of them is named Arthur!), they showed up at the exact time that they said they would, got right to work, were respectful and did not leave any remnants except for new carpet! Now I don't have to arrange my furniture around the stains on my carpet! Thank you Magic Carpet you turned a really nasty situation into a truly magical one.

I called last minute to get a deep clean since my in-laws are going to be here this week. They were able to squeeze me in. The cleaning is always top notch!! They use thieves which is more of an organic style cleaners. Unfortunately my allergies don't like that. But they have no issue using my nasty chemicals. (Crazy right). I needed an ignition key for my motorcycle. After telling me he was "very familiar" with my model…read morebike he spent half an hour trying to make a key from a blank but didn't even come close. For some reason he used my ignition switch first, forcing it back and forth till I thought it might get damaged. When I expressed concern he said "You have only two choices..I do this or you get a new ignition switch and they're expensive." WTF? He said he usually uses the helmet lock keyhole or the sidepanel one to make an ignition key, yet only tried those after nearly breaking my ignition switch. And he got nowhere with them. Surly attitude too. When I asked a question he either glared at me like I was an idiot or ignored me. When he admitted he was "at a dead end" I told him I'd just get someone else, he warned me there was only one other smith in town. I fired him and got my mechanic to do it. Took him all of 10 minutes. I'd never call these guys again. The rave reviews here amaze me. Maybe since I'm from Austin where there are dozens of locksmiths and they need to be knowledgeable to stay in biz I'm just used to competence?
