We are so blessed to have Redway Tire in our community. They provide exemplary service and value. They always take the extra step to please customers. Examples: -First visit there to have a flat fixed I notice Vern putting anti-seize on lug studs. This makes it a whole lot easier to remove lug bolts in future. -Having purchased a vehicle locally I eventually took it in to have a leak repaired. No charge since tires were purchased there (even though not by me). I left a good tip! -Noticed a slight front end vibration on a trip in motorhome. Had a very experienced tire shop inspect and found nothing. Had front tires rebalanced at a Big O shop with no change. When back home went to Redway Tire who quickly determined front tires needed replacement. Problem solved! -Redway Tire accepts discarded tires at no charge picked up by volunteer group that collects roadside litter. read more

We got a flat tire on our road trip, and the hotel a couple doors down recommended us to this place. Google says they're open at 9:00, but they were actually open at 8:00. The guy who seemed to be the owner was showing his son the ropes, and they patched up my tire in less than 30 minutes even with other cars they were working on (turned out we had driven over a drill bit!). They were going to charge us $15 but the card system was down, so they just gave us the service free of charge. Great people! read more

They were able to get the necessary tire overnight from their distributor so that we were up and out early the next day. They were kind and offered a very fair price. Okay seriously, this day was already toward being one of the worst days ever. Then I'm on Highway 101 South when I get a low tire pressure warning. Well, as most Humboldt County folks can tell you, good luck getting a tire repaired; auto shops are few and far between. I decided to keep going and see if I could make it to Redway. I did, and pulled into Redway Tire. My back tire was hissing, losing air. Probably shouldn't have chanced it, but what the hell. Never been to this place before. And here I am writing this Yelp review a mere 15 minutes later. Tire is repaired, cost me ten bucks, and the guys that work there couldn't be nicer. I was about 12 miles south of this shop, so I consider myself lucky! Excellent Service + Excellent Price My son had an unrepairable puncture while on a road trip. He called Bill Wells at Redway Tire (RT) on Monday morning and was back on the road Tuesday at lunch time. RT was able to get the the right tire delivered from their supplier in Benicia in just one day; and, they promptly mounted the tire. Great business and customer service. I was on a trip and went in with my tire off my trailer that had blown. He didn't have any more in my size but was putting his last 4 on a trailer in his lot. He said he wouldn't have any more for 3 days but I'll take the best one from this trailer and mount it on your rim. When I returned to get it he didn't charge me anything for the tire or his time. On our way to Eureka, we encountered a flat on an isolated section of the 101 at about midnight. Unbeknownst to us, our new car did not come with a spare (womp-womp-wommmmp). Redway tire is the definition of the classic small town business with big city expertise and prices. They have beat Costco every time on price and they rotate and fix flats for free. Just a few months ago Bill even gave me a new set of beautiful deep lug nuts to replace the sleeved crappy ones that came with my Ram truck.
