There was an issue with flushing in restroom and the handy man came same day and took care of it. If you are thinking of renting in Novi, this is one great place to be. Also you will NOT see your security deposit back. Over 2 burnt out bulbs and a couple wall scratches, they said the estimated repairs were going to cost $1430 and took it out of my security deposit. If that's the actual cost of a couple wall scratches and 2 burn bulbs, I'm working in the wrong industry. I'll be submitting my mold test to the city as well as all communication between us about them blatantly ignoring this massive violation. The unfortunate thing is I drove by the house and see a "for rent" sign up already. Not enough time for a mold remediation company to come out and do anything. I just hope the next family doesn't run into the same health issues I had while living there. My son with constant allergies and bloody noses every night. House smells like a hot dumpster and the humidity never dropped below 60% in the house. That's a perfect environment for mold to grow. The crawl space stayed at a nice 90% humidity. Was thinking of starting my own rainforest habitat down there actually. If you see this review and still decide to use them as a property management company for your properties or as the manager of a unit you are looking to rent, what you experience from here on out is on you. They will not do anything about the mold issues or any other problems with the property and will not give you your security deposit back.

They even threatened us to the point that we had to install a camera system and call the police. They got a police warning for constantly banging our door and walls, ringing our door bell and then drive away. But nothing changed. What kind of people harassing a 2 year old and calling him names?! They definitely shouldn't be around kids at all. I expected that the management would do background checks before letting tenants move in. Management ignored everything over a year!! And they were well aware of what was going on. Also they didn't even care about other tenants smoking weed indoors. The plumber did not have a mask but was willing to put one on. The original diagnosis had been defective or clogged cartridges in the leaking faucets. The plumber replaced the parts, but the faucets are still leaking. Now he says the entire faucet must be defective. So they misdiagnosed the problem and still charged for the failed repair. Still charged what seems like a LOT of money $500/hour, for one plumber, and this was an alleged discounted price. The plumber blamed the make of the faucets (Moen, usually considered a good brand, we got them at costco), and offered to expensively, but with an alleged discount, replace them with Delta faucets. overall, a disappointing and expensive mistake. Added a star for masking and showing up. Will look elsewhere in future.

Sometimes even same day. If I email, office team is pretty quick to respond to any questions. Just resigned the lease for another year. The last few months have been promising. Office staff are super nice and the maintenance staff and the contractors they've sent for repairs have been respectful, kind and have gotten the job done properly. I love waving to the front gate folks on the way in, super nice people up there. I don't really know my neighbors but I'm on a pretty quiet street.
