My son is now in 3rd grade and he is thriving, he has learned so much because of the dedicated staff in this school. Yes, at home we do our part as parents (always), however having teachers who care and allow your child to be who they are and encourage them to be their best individual self is AMAZING. This school offers many programs for kids, such as music, theatre, sports, council kids club, debate team and more. The staff is phenomenal and I am excited about the growth of all. Mrs. Ford thank you for the last 3 Amazing years. You are just so talented and we are lucky to have had three years with you!!! Mrs. Brandt, we have the pleasure to have such an incredible focused teacher, yet, so kind and understanding that each student has a special gift from God, Mrs. Brandt helps each student bring up that talent and Gift on surface. I want to mention all the teachers and it wont be enough words and space to say how thankful I am for you all. Shout out to Mrs. Reiter for always being incredible and helpful with any questions or concerns. Mr. Voyce you have been so kind and amazing, implementing many changes and we are excited for our school to grow. I recommend all parents to take a look and have a tour. You will be amazed!!!

Coming from the public school system to Stetson has been so amazing and my kids have excelled in all aspects! The staff is caring, professional, and genuinely invested in each student's success. You can absolutely see how much they all care about the kids! They create a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow. There was not a morning that my girls said they did not want to go to school, which says so much! Communication with families is excellent, and it's clear that everyone works hard to help students reach their full potential. We look forward to and are excited to be part of the Stetson family! I highly recommend Stetson Academy to anyone looking for a school that truly cares about its students.

There seems to be concerning…read moreissues and signs of neglect: - Leaving young children behind on campus during a trip off-campus - Taking elementary children to visit potentially unsafe locations (e.g. nursing homes that seems to house convicted sex offenders for crimes against minors) - Aggressively pushing NDAs on parents for wanting to pull their kids, preventing them from sharing specific events and experiences - Asking for full-year tuition when parents express reasons for wanting to withdraw their children (e.g. kids are struggling to adjust or if parents simply have concerns that were not addressed) - Terminating families and kicking kids out of school abruptly without providing a reason, citing "termination for convenience" in retaliation, if parents express questions or concerns about the academic setting or safety. - Giving a peanut product to a kids with allergies/intolerances - Sending utterly unprofessional emails to parents belittling their former teachers and the families who left, seemingly in an attempt to justify their actions and convince families to stay. Making strange remarks about funding challenges in such emails and claiming "they don't have an associated church to help them like other schools". - Excluding children from "rewards" or "special activities" if they didn't contribute to fundraising or if they didn't contribute enough, by setting a "goal/price tag" to certain rewards, creating division and emotional stress among children all ages. - Punishing children by not allowing them play during recess when they think they are misbehaving or not performing enough academically. - Giving children a hard time if they need to use the bathroom during class. In my personal experience, there sure is an effort for marketing, like many photos of smiling children posted on social media. But I would advise everyone to pause for a moment before signing anything. These are based on my personal experiences and the experiences that I was informed of by other parents. My opinion is that everybody should have an education attorney review the the contracts/papers provided by this place before signing anything and conduct a thorough research on these issues and talk to other parents who pulled their children.

Our daughter started 5th grade at VCS last year, and has transitioned into VCS middle school. We have seen her grow in ways that go far beyond the classroom. The families here genuinely support one another and are deeply invested in the personal, social, academic, emotional, and spiritual growth of our kids. It truly is a VCS community. VCS has also given our daughter the courage and confidence to try new things and put herself out there in ways she never had before. Last year, she was introduced to musical theater for the very first time. She was nervous and hesitant to try it, but she quickly fell in love with her instructors and made new friends. She has even chosen to take it as one of her extracurricular courses this year. She also joined the cross-country team for the first time and is planning to try out for the soccer team. Watching her become willing to try new things and discover what she loves has been incredibly meaningful to us as parents. We have also been so impressed by the teachers and staff. They are unbelievably supportive. Our daughter knows she can ask seek help and be herself without fear of judgment. Teachers take the time to make sure their students feel seen and supported. We appreciate that VCS is helping our daughter grow not only as a student, but as a young person who is learning to live out her faith, develop confidence, build meaningful relationships, and discover the gifts God has given her. We are incredibly proud to be supporters and advocates of VCS. We have found a place where our daughter and son are growing and thriving, and people who genuinely care about our family. We quite literally can't imagine our lives without VCS now, and we are so grateful for everything this school has given our daughter and our entire family.

Ms Virginia does an exceptional job at cultivating a well rounded learning experience. The children learn effortlessly as the learning is done organically through changing monthly themes, pracical life activities, class pets, gardening, crafts, parties, play, music, cooking and so much more. The children are always treated with such great respect, respect for their needs, their differing personalities, their learning styles, and their health. Ms Virginia is a true leader and the children all reciprocate respect back to her. I wholeheartedly believe this was the best possible place for my son, and I only wish I found it sooner so I could have started him there earlier. He was already an amazing person but this school really fed his desire to learn; he is more creative, even more curious, and he has an incredible foundation to be a lifelong learner.
