She did my inspection anyway, but never reported the inspection to the state and refused to do so when I called. She even said she had it right there and I could pick it up from them, but she would not send it through to the state for me (something I paid her shop to do in the first place). Her demeanor led me to believe that she didn't report the inspection on purpose to inconvenience me, as I had apparently inconvenienced her when she did the inspection. Also, she told me to stay in my car during the inspection and she never even drove it, which I now know is illegal. My family will be going elsewhere. I ended up getting another inspection just down the road. Much more positive experience and i was able to register my vehicle online the next morning.

After waiting another 2 hours, I called again and got sent straight to voicemail. I called 9 more times, all spread out about 10-20 minutes apart, with no response. After waiting over 5 and a half hours total, they finally told me they weren't able to do the job. I don't know if this was a one-time issue or not, but I personally wouldn't rely too much on this company for timely or dependable service.

I was having an issue with my car, VW diesel, of no power. Three mechanics had said the issue was…read morethe transmission, it wouldn't go passed 40 mph. I replaced it with a used transmission, still had the same issue so the mechanic then said that the turbo was out and needed replacing. I even took it to a VW dealership for a diagnostic to make sure. They said the same thing. It was extremely expensive so we were trying to decide whether we wanted to spend the money on this 2006 vehicle when I was told to take it to Dan's Auto. They found the real issue, the valve on the EGR cooler was broken which didn't allow any pressure to build up in the turbo to run. It cost me 1/3 the amount it would have cost to replace the turbo. The dealership hadn't said anything about the EGR cooler valve. Dan's Auto has now earn a life long customer! Thank you JR and Kyle!!!!​
