I thought I needed a new transmission, based on the symptoms my car was exhibiting. When I want to pick up the car, I was expecting to pay for a new transmission; instead, I paid less than $10 for a fuse (!). I would venture to say that many other auto repair shops would've replaced that same fuse, but charged me for a new transmission.
