We took a mini road trip from Ozark to experience Reeds Spring Pizza at the OG location and it was absolutely worth the drive. We started with two mouth-watering appetizers: the meatballs and the killer bread, both were delicious. I created a custom pizza with various veggies, pepperoni, and salami, blending pesto and their tomato sauce as the base. So good! My side salad was a nice addition, though I wasn't a fan of the ranch dressing (not homemade). Thankfully, the house-made lemon vinaigrette with olive oil was a decent alternative. The ambience was also top-notch, with vintage cameras, film, and photography equipment adorning the space. It was a nostalgic journey through time, with music from the kitchen adding a nice touch as we caught glimpses of the football game. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, always on the ball with refills and checking on us. The restaurant offers various dining areas: a TV-equipped dining room, a separate bar with a pool table and other games, etc. Can't wait to return and try something new! Called to see if they had the Missouri Tigers basketball game available. They said you bet come on down. We showed up they had a table ready for us with the game on. The owner waited on us personally. We saw them Hand Tossing Pizza dough very impressed with atmosphere and the customer support. We decided to try one the Grinders the ITALIAN it was amazingly good. The bread was homemade in house. Lots of meats and cheese toasted to perfection. We also tried the stuffed mushrooms and the spicy meatballs. Both were as advertised. I can't wait to go back and try their Chicken Wings and the pizza. And yes, the Beer was very cold, and service was right on time delivery. This is a real hidden gem. Third visit since ownership change and wait time for a pie was 1 hour? All the tables around us were waiting same length and longer but not with happy faces. Waitress said sorry for the wait, they just have a lot of delivery orders recently which must take precedence over customers in person. Pizza was good after the long wait which is funny because there was no one in the kitchen?? Suggestion: Owners need to leave their kiddies at home and manage real employees if they plan to stay in business. read more

I crave this pizza! We get to Reeds Spring Pizza every time we visit the lake house. It's easily my most favorite pizzas in the whole world. Because apparently no one wants to work any longer they are stretched thin for staff so seating/meal times are a little slower than normal. Just be patient and enjoy a beer before your meal. A delicious selection of beers, and the only place nearby for brunch that I know of. They have a great soundtrack playing usually, and you may even catch a band tucked in the corner on a weekend. I have been dining at the Reeds Spring Pizza Company with my family for 10 years and I have always raved about the food and service. The only negative point I have ever had is the water, which is the worst I have ever tasted, but that is not their fault. That all changed yesterday. When my family and I arrived, there was only one other party in the dining area; four adults and four children, so it was in no way crowded. We immediately ordered our food, including an appetizer of "Killer Bread". After a 20 minute wait, I asked our waitress where our appetizer was and she said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, it arrived. Then, 20 minutes later, I asked her where our pizza was at, as we were about to leave, as I felt 50 minutes in a practically empty restaurant was unacceptable. She said it would be right out (again). 15 minutes later, we finally got our pizza. My wife ordered another beer and our server left, came back in the dining area and started bussing the table where the other party had left. After another 10 minutes, I reminded her about the beer and then she went and got it. Our server never once asked us if we needed more drinks. When she brought our check, I told her that I had been coming here for 10 years and I felt that the time it took to get our food was unacceptable. Her response was that they had a lot of call-in orders. If that is the reason for taking over an hour to get one small pizza and a calzone, then I would suggest the owner close down the dining area and focus strictly on carry outs. It should be indicative there is a problem there when on a very nice Saturday at noon time, there are only two families there. In reading through the reviews, I saw FIFTEEN other complaints mentioning this exact same thing in just the last 6 months, so this is obviously a reoccurring problem. We saw a woman at the cash register that I believe is one of the owners who never acknowledged us. I would have thought our server would have mentioned my complaint to her and she would have said something to us but either our server hadn't or, the owner didn't care. If you take a moment to read my previous reviews of other restaurants in both Google Reviews and Yelp, it is obvious I take joy in providing great reviews of good restaurants but when I encounter the poor service we encountered yesterday, I feel compelled to address that as well. What I find sad is, the Reeds Spring Pizza Company has been an institution in Reeds Springs for many years but I'm afraid if they don't change their ways and make immediate improvements on how they treat their dine-in customers, they will not last. As a former owner of two restaurants, I would never have treated my diners this way, nor would I have permitted staff to be so inattentive to the diners. There is just no acceptable excuse for it. We have a lake house about 15 miles SW of Reeds Spring so we hit RSP at least a couple of times a month in a years-long tradition beginning when they first open their doors. We've never had anything but excellent meals & service - until now. I've had to knock my rating down by a star - for now. Normally I would give RSP a glowing review about their great-tasting, creative pizzas, their outstanding prices & service, and generous wine pours. But when I just waited almost 1 hour at a table with a full house of hungry patrons, something was wrong. My waiter, a friendly yet apologetic young man, told me that take-out orders had the kitchen backed up. Why in the wild, wild world of business would a restaurant make an entire dining room full of loyal customers wait while management catered to faceless, pizza "hit & runners"? We finally got our pizzas and they were as hot & tasty as ever! Upon checkout, I gave the young man my "customer orientation sermon" & he was again apologetic, but will anything actually change? I just read a review below from an apparently loyal & just as upset patron who had the same experience, citing "new ownership". New management & apparently a new philosophy! I now understand they also offer "take & bake" as well as hot take-out. It's a crying shame when an old favorite lets you down so completely. I guess I'll have to become a new take & bake customer too until their quality also suffers...then I'll head to Pizza by the Chef in Branson West instead! read more

Have yet to disappoint, we hold cabin association meetings here and bring out-of-town friends when passing through. Highly recommend. We went for the first time under new ownership and we will not be back. Our bread appetizer was cold, water not refilled, pizza took 1.5 hours. The excuses were varied and contradictory. Our server said they have plenty of staff, they just had a large party arrive right before us (party of 4). When we checked out the gal asked how everything was and we told her about the wait. She said, "I'm so sorry, we are short staffed right now." Might want to make sure your excuses match. Maybe next time you have a big party arrive tell the small party, "just wanted to give you a heads up, we had a large party arrive and order several 16 inch pizzas. It make take an hour or so before your pizza will be here." That way, you give the customer the option of whether or not they want to wait for pizza. All in all it was a literal nightmare of an experience. It was so much better under previous ownership. read more

They do curbside pickup which is what we did during our Branson vacation a few days ago. It was really good pizza!! Got a large 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese and also a small Galaxy pizza. The crust is great--not floppy or too crisp- but nice and thin so you can really taste the toppings. My husband got the Show Poney calzone. I'm not gonna lie- the competing combo of flavors were just too chaotic and jumbled to appreciate it. That thing had pepperoni, Bleu cheese, black olives, cashews, red onions, mozzarella, and ricotta. Not my style, but my IPA loving husband enjoyed it. My pizza was over cooked and when I sent it back with one piece missing, they refused to make the order correct and forced me to pay for the pizza. It took 30 minutes to get a waitress to take our beer order at the bar and the employees attitude was just uncalled for. If you like dining while staring at hippy drum circle signs and advertisements for medical marijuana cards the 3rd Thursday of every month, then this place might be for you. But if you're looking for a business that treats you with respect, then I would suggest doing business with a company that appreciates you and not just one that wants to become your care giver. read more

Made a trip to this place for the first time in a few years. Knew something was off when we arrived and the parking lot was EMPTY. Before we even got out of the car a lady came out and asked if we had masks. Then I noticed the 17 signs taped over the door and windows about masks and rules. I told her we'd been vaccinated but didn't think to bring masks (since literally nowhere else in SW Missouri is still requiring them). She said it didn't matter, masks were a strict rule to enter the dining room (even though it was empty). It was such an unwelcoming environment we left, not that we had a choice. No wonder the parking lot was empty, they are running off all their would-be customers! Of all the things normalized during the pandemic, requiring a cloth mask to be worn for the brief process of walking between tables in a restaurant is surely one of the most pointless. We really enjoy the nutty blue pig pizzas unique delicious flavors. However service that is non existent. As a customer we felt invisible to the staff. When we got our Pizza, They started vacuuming Right next to us!! We were just served our meal people. Skip the side of dust plz. HELLO Health Dept and common curtesy!! I get it's time to clean up but be kind to your Paying customers and wait till they're done eating. Very sorry we were a disruption to the staff. Today, there's a hostile sign posted right on the door before you enter that reads, "Wear your mask or get the fork outta here". Seriously?! This is even after most places have dropped the mask rules. Also, the attitude of "mask paranoia over customers needs" makes for a very uninviting scenario before you've even ordered your pizza.
