Want good service, go to McDonalds. Want real knives and forks, bring your own. Plastic ware in plastic to eat my salad abd boneless wings, classic. Ordered a quessidilla burger, server did not put that in with the rest of the order. Was asked if he could bring us chips and salsa while we had to wait for the rest of the order, C doesn't eat salsa, told the server this, got plain chips. Almost finished my salad and boneless wings when C's burger finally came out. I found this place looking for new places my mom and step dad haven't been that live in the area. I like to make them try new places when I come to visit. We walked in and immediately the smell of Clorox was strong. Like they just wiped everything down with it. It was a little overpowering. A nice lady greeted us and said we could sit wherever we wanted, so we picked a booth. My mom really liked their t-shirts they wear there and went up to the bar to see if she could buy one. A lady standing there said she wasn't sure if they sell them but regardless they were out. Oh well. Maybe better off anyways. We ordered some drinks and food. the server was super nice. I missed her name, but she was always smiling and had a great attitude. I got a local beer from Missouri and it was really good. It was their dunkel they were advertising on the wall. We all ordered from their lunch day specials. All meals were on the lunch special and under $7. My step dad got the corn dogs with fries. Large portion and he said the corn dogs were really good. My mom got the chicken quesadilla with a cup of their soup of the day which was meat and bean I believe. The quesadilla was okay, except it was falling apart. The soup was beyond salty. I like salty stuff and I tried the soup and I couldn't get past 1 spoon. It was rough. I got the ground beef crunchy tacos. I eat these type of tacos ALOT so a have a ton to compare. They were premade shells, with beef that had no seasoning in them whatsoever served with a ton of cheese and lettuce. The salsa served with both the quesadilla and the tacos tasted sweet like it was made with sugar. It was probably one of the weirdest salsas I have ever had in my life. Overall, not great. I would go back to try their wings since this is what they are known for and their 40 different flavors, but other than that, this place isn't worth a second try. We use to come out here specifically for their wings, and great drink prices. Well this time we left before even eating. A trip to the restroom ensured we wouldn't be eating here anymore until they "clean up their act." The last time we visited lots of tables were dirty and food was everywhere on the floor. I guess I can over look some of that since staffing is short now, and I know they get busy. But this time no excuses; we got there right at 5pm on a Thursday. The place was trashed! Food all over the floors, and they were completely dead! Servers were just standing around, and the nail in the coffin was the restroom that smelled like human feces!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! How you expect anyone to visit your bathroom; see and smell that kind of thing, and then expect them to eat there is ridiculous!!!! What has happened to businesses? It's like people want to do these least amount of work; give you mediocre service and food, and expect top dollar and a tip!!! Well I'm finished with these attitudes at local businesses! read more

It's a casual place, easy going and serve at a casual pace. They serve burgers, wings and steak if you choose. The people are friendly. There are times I go to eat really good, unique food items. Other times I go out to talk, spend time with friends and eat a meal. This is a place to go with friends, eat and chat. I gave this place 2 stars mostly because the wings were quite good. The service was lacking. We are not from here. My family and I just relocated and this place seems more like a locals place where the customers are generally regulars. Our waitress spent a lot of time with other customers even bringing them extra orders of wings to take home. Our first order took about 19 mins, which isn't a big deal. We asked for an order of fries and that took a good 15+ minutes. Our second order of wings came out fairly quick. My daughter wanted a refill on her drink, and for some reason that kept getting forgotten My wife opted out and I ordered one more order of wings. We waited for 20 minutes and the waitress finally came over, with the bill. The bill showed that I had ordered the wings but we never received them. I looked at the waitress and she said "did you want anything else?" I said nope, paid the bill and left. This was my 3rd time there since moving here from Las Vegas Nevada. The first two times was great. This time however, my wife daughter and I just felt like we were intruding in a party we weren't invited too. Placed a to go order of wimpy wings with a side of Arizona Gunslinger sauce and Thai peanut wings. Send husband to pick up wings. He comes home with the wimpy wings with the side of Gunslinger we ordered and Thai wings, NOT the Thai peanut wings I'd ordered originally. Called and spoke with a lady who told me they'd remake them, but they couldn't deliver them to the southwest side of Springfield. I should not have to drive all the way back to Nixa to get an order of wings that THEY messed up. Last time this happened, they DID deliver the wings because it was their mistake. They said they'd "just go ahead and refund your money" and didn't offer any other resolution! And my husband left them a generous tip before he realized they messed up the order! Great place to grab a beer and some wings. It was my first time to try it out. The wings selection list was a mile long so I will definitely need to come back to be able to try them all out. I went with the Rooster and Aztec wings today. I wasn't disappointed... it was a delicious, perfectly cooked, good sized wing. The cherry on top is the house-made ranch and blue cheese dressings. When we started going to Coyote's a year ago we were impressed with the neighborhood feel, wings and service. Three out of the last four times the wings seemed precooked and the fries were barely warm. They did offer to give us new fries but it took so long we were pretty well done with our entre so we told them no need. Yesterday the Miller Lite pitcher was semi flat and had an off taste. Probably pressure problem and dirty hoses. Fries do not take long to deep fry. They should come out piping hot. Chris, the server is amazing. It's a shame the bar itself has gone downhill. The server didn't seem all there, kept asking us to repeat our orders. Neither of our orders were right, but got the check credited to what it should have been. The food is just okay, even going in expecting bar food. I've eaten there 3 times and every time I've left there feeling "meh". It's not so bad I won't go back, but it's definitely not my first choice. Last night I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Pasta which, again, was just okay. My most favorite part of the meal wasn't actually the meal. It was the fact the menu said the pasta was served with French bread, while I was very clearly served a hot dog bun. I even asked my waitress about it and she tried to say it wasn't a hot dog bun, but rather a "special kind of bread" that just looked like a hot dog bun. Uhhhh, no lady, this is a hot dog bun. So Saturday 4-24-21 will be my last visit to Coyotes. After I was served a still feathered chicken wing and was handed the bill, I have to say I have no interest in going back. I got to eat 5 of my 16 wings, before finding this. At which point I was so grossed out I couldn't finish the rest of my wings nor did I have interest in taking them home. When I showed my waitress her exact response was "OMG that's the grossest thing I've ever seen", then took off. I assumed to get a manager, nope to get my check so I could pay them. I was blown away. So I paid my bill, I even tipped. But I won't be back to spend anymore money. And given I've been going once or twice a week for YEARS, that's very disappointing. read more

So my boyfriend, daughter and I have lived in Nixa for a year now and decided to try Coyote's tonight. For starters our waitress wasn't paying attention, being attentive, etc. We ordered jalapeno poppers for an appetizer, my boyfriend ordered wings & fries, & I asked for a BLT with onion rings. She told me she couldn't do a BLT but had a philly cheese steak or prime rib sandwhich.... yet they have a club sandwich with bacon so I explained to her what a BLT was and she said okay. She brings our food out and my onion rings had hair on them, and my BLT had 2 slices of bacon, one tomato and one piece of lettuce. I asked for new onion rings and when she brought them out about 10 mins later she put them down (piping hot) directly in front of my 8 MONTH old daughter who instantly grabbed them and burnt her hand. The waitress laughed at the situation and walked away. I kept my composure and made sure my daughter was okay. She never asked for refills, never brought silverware. When she brought our check she said she took off the poppers due to the hair. Cool. But then when I looked at our check it was $45 and I was thinking dang, that's pricey. She charged us $13.25 for a bacon burger. (my blt) which consisted of 2 small slices of bacon. No burger patty. I didnt wanna make a scene or wait for a manager because my daughter was getting tired so I called when we left. Whoever answered the phone was rude and said there was no manager there. Then magically a manager got on the phone... Very dissatisfied with this and will not be back. read more

We very happily learned this week that they now deliver! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered and the delicious wings and rings arrived promptly. My only complaint, and admittedly it's a big one, is that we ordered three different kinds of wings and they put them all in one box. In transit, they co-mingled, mixing my normal level of heat options with his Road Runners (habenero). So, he dutifully took a bite of each one trying to determine which were which. Sort of worked but the sauces that dripped off mingled too so they all tasted relatively the same. Went here hoping to watch the Packers vs Vikings game with the wife. Was greeted at the door by a Packers fan owner, instantly knew we were in for a good time. Big and good appetizer, plenty of delicious wings, and endless cold beer later... We had a great time. Multiple TV's with the Packers game on, as well as other football games, we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Oh and great service from two different servers. Nice atmosphere, it's a sports bar that's usually crowed. I had chicken fajitas. The chicken was tender but, it was baked chicken in bite sizes stir fried with peppers and onions. So, it took the flavor out of the chicken to be baked first. It had a baked taste, not fajita taste. My son had prime rib sandwich and loved it. My husband had chicken sandwich and said it was good. The salsa was awesome! For those of you who love salsa like myself, it was great salsa!!!! I have a 4 stars bc of baked chicken for fajita meat. Great service too! read more
