We stopped in to catch a hockey game and they were very accommodating with getting the game on tv for us. They have a full bar, kid friendly and a varied menu. We showed up to Scooter's in Branson at 7:15 p.m. with empty stomachs and high hopes. The parking lot was practically deserted--maybe 5 other cars max--so we figured it'd be a quick, easy dinner. We were very, very wrong. It took 45 minutes just to be seated. Let me repeat: 45 minutes... to sit down... in a nearly empty restaurant. When we were finally seated (around 8 p.m.), there were two other tables occupied. That's it. We weren't waiting behind a bus tour or the cast of Dolly Parton's Stampede--just ghosts, apparently. After we ordered, we waited. And waited. And waited some more. It was past 9 p.m. (closing time) when we finally got our food. We almost left to eat at a gas station--at least they operate with a sense of urgency. The staff looked more confused than busy. No explanation, no apologies, just vibes and painfully slow service. Honestly, I'm not even mad anymore, I'm impressed--impressed that a place can operate this poorly and still be in business. Would've had a better experience cooking my own meal blindfolded in a thunderstorm. Do yourself a favor: scoot right past Scooter's and don't look back. read more

The Buffalo flavor was very mild and they went way overkill on the salt! It did have a nice burnt texture and flavor overall, thought quite pricey for 10 wings at $15.99 on a non-special night. The Scooters Reuben with pepper jack cheese, fresh pastrami and grilled onions w/amazing thousand island sauce on the side was amazing. They also had typical Reubens as well. The wings were great!!
