Nice store. They were light on fish when we went (shipping issues apparently). Staff is helpful but also doesn't hover. Good selection of corals. They have a smaller store in Anaheim as well. I recommend that you visit if you're looking for any new fish or corals (maybe call first to see if they have what you might be looking for as well). Stopped by to check out this store on our drive back home. They've got lots of selections both fresh and salt water fish. They kept the place clean and neat. No fishy smell like other fish stores. Was looking to get koi fish but unfortunately they do not sell them just yet. Will definitely try to get other things the next time we stop by. Owner is nice and friendly, staffs are courteous. The owner has one side dedicated to salt water and the other side for freshwater. His freshwater section is still slowly being developed but his saltwater side is up and thriving. I can't wait to see what freshwater species are to come as I am patiently waiting for some freshwater shrimp. They sell both RO and Salt water. read more

Talk about long term disappointment. The first year or so we used this store we were so Impressed with the selection and the pricing. We even had them come out to do our regular service. Over time though, things gradually went downhill. Of the stock we purchased, both fish and coral, about 50% were dead within a week or so of being put in the tank. In the 2+ years we used them, we spent thousands on livestock and more than half only lasted a few weeks. When I asked about this, the owner told me "everything has an expiration date". The last time I texted him to express my frustration was 2.5 months ago, and he never responded. He hasn't tried to get in touch since. I'm a small business owner and if a customer who regularly dropped that kind of money on me just disappeared, I'd be wanting to know why. But that's just me. The last straw. We found a new tank servicing company who is fantastic. Since they took over, they installed a refugium and the amount of algae in the tank has plummeted, so less cleaning for us to do. He has his own little network of clients and does livestock exchanges among them and since he's servicing all the tanks he knows the stock is clean and healthy. So if we have fish we no longer want, he finds a new home for them with another client. We tell him what kinds of fish and coral we like and he's been very successful finding them for us at a fraction of the cost of Reef Lounge. Of everything they've put in our tank in the last two months, nothing has died and everything is doing great! He found problems with the RO system Reef Lounge installed and corrected that. We went from wanting to just get rid of the whole setup to being very happy with our tank. And Reef Lounge lost a loyal customer who had sunk a boatload of money into their tank. Maybe he tried to expand too fast and couldn't keep up anymore, I don't know. But I'm pleased I don't have to drive all the way to Reef Lounge anymore. read more

I went in to look around as I love fish! I checked out saltwater first and when I was checking out the freshwater fish I noticed a tank of them had ick. I wasn't sure if the owner had noticed so I went ahead and told him the tank had ick and that I wasn't trying to step on any toes. He then asked "what do you want me to do about it?" And I said you gotta treat them with the blue stuff (can't remember the name). And he like laughed and said he did that already and asked me if I wanted to throw them away so I don't see them. Finally, a saltwater reef shop in the Corona/Norco area! The owner is very friendly and helpful. He also owns the famous Reef lounge in Anaheim, so this store will get a lot more tanks running soon. Great selection of amazing corals at good prices. A lot of hardware is available. I picked up over 8 corals in the past two weeks, and they are doing amazing! This seems to be an up and coming great LFS, great variety of selections still a bit of a disarray as they seem to still be setting up the other half of the store, noticed there's a lot of mislabeled tanks with wrong fish names, tanks seem clean since they're new, prices might be slightly higher than Petco/ Petsmart but that's to be expected with higher quality fish (anywhere is an upgrade to Petco sick fishes) place is super spacious, if you're in to Corals snd Marine fishes this is a great place to be shopping, I'll drop by another time to check it out again maybe I can update to 5 star if Freshwater side gets better stocked read more

A lot of fish stores will sell you whatever you want and don't care about what happens to the animals after they leave the store. The owner here will give you advice and let you know when you are going to run into trouble...Even if that makes him lose a sale. He always has new shipments and his prices can't be beat. I have a 10 gallon fresh water tank. I stop in Reef Lounge every so often, but their fresh water stock for plants, equipment, fish and shrimp etc isn't really bolstered enough yet. Jimmy (the owner) is awesome. He's extremely friendly, helpful, especially to noobs, and unlike SO many LFS's in Riverside/Orange County, his tanks actually look well maintained. After having purchased and dipped many coral from Jimmy's stores, I can confirm the number of pests that drop off the corals in the dips is always minimal to none, which goes to show how much knowledge he has about how to properly take care of his tanks and livestock.
