Nice selection, fresh and saltwater fish. I will return to see what is in stock when they resupply. They have bettas all around the store for those looking for cool betta colors. When we were making our selection, the woman helping us recommended we get a different one because the one we chose was acting lethargic when she went to bag him. We appreciated the extra consideration as we had a long drive and I would have been upset if they did not survive the drive. She even put the one we chose in a quarantine tank to monitor him. I felt the consideration for customers was superior than other fish stores I've been to. Clean store for all your aquarium needs. They have the most beautiful fish & other aquarium inhabitants, so much selection & variety. Nothing dead or sickly looking like lots of other fish stores have been to. All looked healthy & well cared for, active & swimning around-the selection of aquarium life was off the hook phenominal! Only thing I didn't see was sea horses or frogs but I could've possibly missed them there was just SO much to look at. We came to look for some fish to possibly replace a few of ours, but ended up not buying anything because we wanted to make sure our tank was more stable, before we added more. The lady who helped us was very sweet. Most of their saltwater tanks only had a few fish, but the freshwater ones had tons. They had some really pretty guppies and even babies! They had some cool fish like black ghost and a black arowana! Their prices for the common fish were comparable to most of the other places we've been to. So I don't own any fish, I have a 20g tank that I been setting up, I can tell they were busy feeding the fish while another employee was helping customers, the whole time offering help when we'd cross paths, it's a beautiful store with a huge selection of fresh water and salt water fish, decor, aquariums and stands. I asked a gentlemen a few questions and he politely answered me while recommending me Dr Tim's One & Only and letting me know I can add fish after that, I added it earlier, and only kept a sponge in my filter so while it cycles hopefully the bacteria grows and tomorrow ima go in and try some guppies to start. I'll say their selection of guppies were beautiful! The reds, blues, orange separated at 5$ for a beautiful male, 5.99 for the orange, and 3.99 for beautiful females. I recommend this place 5 for customer service, selection, expertise and advice. I'll take the ladies advice at the counter when I purchased the natural bacteria and only add a few at a time, so maybe 4-6 guppies tomorrow. And if all goes well, I know where to go back as I do wanna add a few Corydoras and a honey guarami, and I know where to go! Stop by people and you know be disappointed! I found this place when I started my fresh water fish tank hobby. They have salt water and fresh tank water for sale. If coming for water they do have gallons for sale but SOMETIMES they can run out, not really their fault. *COME PREPARED TO BUY WATER* They are knowledgeable and help you with making sure you find the product or know what product to get. I've gone in a few times now and I have often found them feeding or changing water. They care and provide for the fish. read more

If you're serious about the hobby and around the area I'd highly recommend checking this place out. For starts they keep their aquariums well maintained and have separate aquariums with separate filtration for each species they sell. All the fish are super happy and healthy from what I've seen other than maybe on the day they get their shipment and a few days after which is to be expected. Their prices might be a little higher and if you are buying fish to fully stock your aquarium you should expect to drop a pretty penny on your way out but the price is seriously worth it. I've had a 100% success rate with the fish I buy from here living through the dreaded first few weeks, given that I quarantine all my fish and treat them, which can be very stressful but that speaks more about what you pay for when you buy fish from here. I live around 30-40 minutes away from here and there are many fish stores closer to me than this place but my experiences every time I shop here keep me coming back, but Don't take my word for it, next time you're thinking about buying some new aquatic pets, take a drive down to this place and give it a shot. Such a gem of a place! Wish I'd found this place much sooner before the pandemic hit- but gotta love a store that has SELECTION. Granted, nothing compared to the internet but the prices here are incredible! Sorry, PetSmart but you are SO overcharging for your fish! Tell me if you can't beat these prices below- Goldfish 8 for $1. (great quality feeder goldfish too, the ones with koi-like marks on their forehead were just as energetic as the pure gold and yellow or orange-colored options). Ghost shrimp 10 for $1. (And we got about 3 pregnant ones in the batch too! If you see your female pregnant shrimp bucking up its curved spine, looking like it's trying to do the MJ pelvic thrust, you best make sure it has some space and quiet so she can give birth in peace! Beautiful selection of large, healthy ghost shrimp). Beautiful beta fish selection (highly recommend as your kid's first pet, if they're responsible and won't overfeed)- $3 each! These were GORGEOUS fish that were anywhere from 3 to 20 dollars at PetSmart. The aquatic freshwater plant selection was also impressive- including multiple little pots for the extra plants you may have in your home tank! The crab selection was wonderful too- we got 2 panther crabs and a vampire crab. The prices ranged up to $15 for our large panther crab- which was totally worth it, given how beautiful this crab is! Don't forget to check out the large 100 gallon tanks that come with its own stand- so that you may dream over the large tank you may come to have one day. That's what we did :) Do try to support this wonderful, clearly family-run business! The store employees were all very kind and simply nice folks! I wish I could come here much more often but try to stay home as much as you can people- COVID-19 is real! read more

Have a return policy on fish like how petsmart has a 14 day return policy if a fish passes away on its own (not accepting eaten ones) especially on sick fish ------- They got better and improved the store from the way it was when I visited the last time a couple years ago. I decided to revisit. Spotted this betta in a v dirty jar and saw that he was blind. I asked if I can get a diff price since he's blind. They told me he wasn't and assumed I didn't know bettas and told me that's just how they are. Bought him at full price($20). I got him cuz I'm positive he's blind and guess what, he is! Can't even see the food in front of him. I have him in a container within a tank and doesn't flare at other fish. Doesn't flare in the mirror. Cause he can't see!! I think he sees shadows/light but not clearly. Then after a quick search, I was right. It's well known in samurai bettas to develop this genetic condition, in which they're blind but can sense light I also got some Otto's from them only for all of them to be sick w columnaris, so they're quarantined atm. Hopefully all is well UPDATE Never buying here again! So after 4 days, of the Otos being sick w Columnaris; one of them passed away. I decided to call when is the return date for their fish, they don't have one. All sales are final even if they give you sickly infected fish. I still have receipts and the otos but yeah Do not recommend buying any fish from here Then they said none of the otos in their tank look like they have anything and it's like??? The ones I received have it??? They're sick??? Like how are you going to insinuate that I shouldn't have "sick otos" when I HAVE SICK OTOS! read more

They have a beautiful selection of fish, but unfortunately we purchased a small koi fish for $55 and only a couple hours later we noticed it swimming on its side and appearing sickly. We already have an existing large tank with koi fish we've had for a couple years that are perfectly healthy. We acclimated the koi and everything. We called to see if they made exchanges or returns and they don't, which is such a bummer because we haven't even had the koi fish for a full day and it was sick.. they said there was nothing they could do. Although the fish are beautiful, they are a bit expensive and they do NOT refund you if the fish gets sick/dies soon after purchasing. Sad. read more

went here the other day to look for some fish for my saltwater tank and get my water tested. first thing no one even came up to us asking if we needed help then I finally went up to somebody and asked. Can I get my water tested please. He then proceeded to ask me. What is the reason for your water test. I said just wanted to check had a couple things die what could I do? He (the owner or i don't know) then said to buy my own water test kit and that I just need to do water changes. he then Tested my water and told me that nothing was wrong even when my fish all died. They have selections of live coral, shrimp, and there was a beautiful white ray that I had never seen before. The tropical fish are all in good condition, and are very reasonable prices. The live coral is pricey but also very beautiful. They also have a large assortment of freshwater fish, and lots of different betta fish. I was very impressed. There are cute tanks that are for sale as well. The employees are very helpful. I can't wait to come back and get my kuhli loach! They didn't have them in stock (again) so I'm guessing they are in high demand. They also have live bloodworms here in the fridge! Scary!!! Elephant nose fish are cool! read more
