I've been very hesitant in writing a review because Brian and Kenny were nice but I feel I really have to do this, because I really wish I would've known, I regret having them do my Fish Tank, I could list so many things that they did wrong but the list is very long now and every time something is wrong it's thrown in my face what a mistake I did by having then do my tank thank you God for helping me find someone that can fix it He basically told me that they just did the job took my money and knew that that's all they had to do , they would not have to maintain it Please be careful and educate yourself on all the plumbing and everything that you want because they really just don't know read more

I highly recommend if your just getting into reef tanks or saltwater tanks you take time to go check out Ocean Aquatics! I personally have gone to several other shops before deciding to buy any equipment. I like to talk to the shop owners and really get a feel for how they interact with not only customers but how the livestock in the tanks look. Well I don't want to name any other shops on this review none of them compared to how clean and well maintained their livestock and equipment is. Not only was the shop very clean but Ken immediately introduced himself and told me to look around and if I needed any help just to ask. For it being a Tuesday the shop was actually pretty busy. After I took some time to look at the fish and tanks I decided to buy a setup from Ken. He really cut me a very good deal on a very nice setup. I actually went back today to buy rock and the saltwater for the tank. One of Ken's employees filled all my buckets for me and helped me take them to my car. That was unexpected and very nice of them. All in all I once again highly recommend oceans aquatics! You can rest assured not only will you get good prices but the fish you buy will be healthy. After exiting the hobby 4 years ago, I caught the bug to get back into owning another reef tank. After doing some research I purchased a tank and wanted to stock it with healthy livestock. I found Ocean Aquatics to fit this need. They had plenty of healthy livestock and I was in luck as I wanted a pair of designer clowns. I picked up two of them and they are healthy and happy in their new tank. The owners Ken and Brian are friendly and very knowledgeable about their livestock and the hobby as a whole. I've e purchased numerous coral frags from them at reasonable prices and they also helped me with stocking my new tank. I enjoy visiting them and their business every chance I get! On 11/24/23 I went to the store. Ken sold me a package setup, which I was informed would have everything I needed to get started. I would think everything I needed to get started would be: tank, stand, pump, sump, and lights. Told him I wouldn't need a light so he could remove that from the package. Told him I would also need water and was told they could bring it out when they delivered. I agreed to the price without any hesitation or negotiation. Put down deposit of $800 and left the store thinking I would be getting: tank, stand, pump, sump, and water. On 11/30/23 I had 2 more charges. One for $1513.72 and one for $536.25 (I ended up buying the lights). On 12/14/23 I was asked what return pump I would be using. I was confused because I thought it was included. Didn't make a big deal out of it. I agreed on the Varios 4 for $339.99. Bryant said he would give me a 10% discount. On 12/19/23 I was charged $364.64 for the Varios 4. Doesn't look like I got the 10%, but oh well. Finally took delivery 12/20/23 after numerous delays and poor communication. I noticed there wasn't any water in the back of their trucks so I asked if they brought the water. Bryant told me they didn't and he didn't think any water was included. Bryant did the setup and installation quickly. When he left he told me he had a guy heading in this direction and he would bring me out some water. Ken texted me after Bryant had left and told me the water wasn't included and said sorry buddy. I responded back with my displeasure. I should have got everything in a written breakdown. They were all nice and smiles upon purchase and taking my money. Ken immediately called me after I texted him and basically right off the bat started ranting and asking what I expected. The way he talked and questioned my expectations was in an insulting manner. It almost sounded like he muttered if I was delusional. I told him I paid for everything without any hesitation or question. They provided no receipt of the breakdown of what was bought. He said he would get the receipt and go over it with me and hung up. After he hung up, I texted him and told forget it and this would be the first and last purchase I make with them. Basically, to sum everything up, make sure you get a written breakdown of what you're buying from them. read more

Not happy at all with this business they always change the hours of operation. Plus I had my fish for two years and I sent my husband to get a filter. They recommended one and the next morning my fish were dead they also did not care and keep trying to blame us for it when we did exactly what they told us. Do not shop here! read more

Bad customer service sold me the wrong food they recommended me for my salt water fish and they died the same week and told my it wasn't from their food. Upon doing research and talking to other "experts" I was told they gave me the wrong food my fish cost me about 500$ just to die the following week read more
