When I got up to the counter and got the bill I almost had a heart attack! It was over $900!!! So close to a K that I just handed her that and got maybe $20-30 back in change. I was flabbergasted. Yes it was almost 11 at night. Yes, it was an emergency case but dang!!! I've never had to pay that much when my other dog had a surgery and had to stay for a week at another clinic. Our dog recently had a sore on her nose and Dr. Blaisdell recommended a biopsy to determine what it was. That was fine, but her bedside manner was atrocious. She didn't love on my dog at all, she used a very condescending and blaming tone with me, and left me feeling scared for my pets health without providing much concrete information. She even told me to "get her down" when my dog was looking out the window of the exam room door while she was writing. When the results of the biopsy came in, she said she was "very concerned" about them, but wasn't really sure what she was going to do moving forward, she couldn't provide concrete answers to any of my questions, and she told me I needed another appointment. When I brought my dog back they took her to the exam room without me, and my dog hid her tail between her legs and whined, refusing to go back until they carried her, which really concerned me, because she is typically excited to see her vets, even after a major leg surgery she had.
