I want to add more love and gratitude for St. Francis (Dr. Cheeks, Dr. Garner, Dr. Landes, Mary, Kylee, Ashley, and everyone else) for never ever suggesting Matilda pass earlier, for always believing in her and greeting her with optimism and genuine happiness to see her, for bringing her relief and medical care that sustained her quality of life, for Dr. Cheeks' reassurance on the most painful day and for remembering that Matilda's ears were cute and soft, and for all of the love and support for her on her last day. My heart is broken to pieces, but I would have been broken sooner had it not been for the love and care of SFAH. Thank you, always. It would take way too long to write how much I love this place. I know everyone here, they all know my pets and me by name, and I feel like I'm a part of their family. I have made friends here, found my pet sitter here, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for when she comes in, and they have even helped me make flexible payments when I was struggling to pay from another country. Dr. Landes is another important part of the team, and she and her staff do chiropractic adjustments and red light laser therapy on my dog for her arthritis. I so appreciate her intelligence and resourceful ways in tackling all available healing methods. Dr. Garner is especially brilliant, invaluable, and a core part of the foundation of this business. Anytime I bring my dog in, he comes out and sits down with me and explains everything to me for quite some time so that I can make an informed decision based on my financial ability and the fact that I love my dog and want to keep her as happy as possible for as long as possible. I am so grateful for him and for the whole team. This is my forever primary vet for as long as I live in the CSRA.

After ***passing*** his 30 minute temperament test (a requirement before they will board your baby), I left him for that weekend while I was home, our first time apart. I was neurotic, he was having a blast. The team sent me videos of him playing the next morning and my heart was warm again. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Most importantly, I trust these people. You can't put a price on that. All the staff there are exceptional and care about every one of their pups. Their facility is well laid out, organized and clean. The play yard is also conducive to safety and playtime for my pup. I'll be doing a day care package so he gets socialized. They do it all. Dr Tribby and his staff are knowledgeable, professional, and took great care of our babies. They went above and beyond to do micro testing for my kitty whose ears have been bothering her, got us the results and antibiotic drops before we left. Check ups and full vaccination boosters as well as the test and additional treatment for one of our cats under $450 is very reasonable. We will be gladly returning and I recommend this facility to pet owners in the area. My only complaint is that they had 2 large peace lily plants in the treatment room, which are pretty well known to be toxic to cats. Not sure why they would choose to have that in a vet office. Other than that it was a great experience!

We had been to blue pearl in 2023 where they saved my dogs life with a quick diagnosis. So, when he became ill again, they were the only place I thought of. I had full intentions of the process being a simple hydrate and leave, but he was relapsing from his 2023 diagnosis. Now 10, and lots of money to treat with no guarantee of surviving, we had a decision to make. I wish I had gotten everyone's name, but from the techs to the vet, everyone was so patient and kind. They assisted me through the process, they offered me perspective and support. While they cannot make a decision for me, they definitely made me feel supported either way. Ultimately, we made the decision to allow our pet to pass with dignity and without risking him going through the treatment again. They were so patient as we spent time with him before and after. They are an emergency vet, but you would have thought we were the only family there. While i left devastated because my boy was gone, their support was more than I ever would have expected. While it is expensive, it was well worth the money to know he passed with his family and all his new friends around him.​

You'll also be given an estimate for any potential expenses such as X-rays. You would be called for authorization should the X-rays or any other expenses arise. No surprises. Constant communication is their specialty. It's what I expect but have rarely ever seen at a Vets office. I'm so glad I found this place. The office is clean and the staff very friendly. It's gloomy, the people who work there obviously hate their jobs. I paid for two office visits and the vet hardly gave my dogs a glance. When I brought up my dog's anxiety, she instead told me about her friend who had anxiety. It was appalling to say the least. When they were getting my meds together, I noticed how dirty the exam room was. I have never seen anything like this and couldn't wait to leave. My dog needs a dental but won't be getting it there. First and foremost, the young lady at the front desk (who was not Peggy) was kind, smiling, welcoming, and friendly with both her words and demeanor. She asked us to wait one moment while she checked out another customer, which was quick and easy, and immediately checked us in. We discussed the reason for our visit, and she happily took our pet to the back for her immunization. She returned a few minutes later with my pet and led us to an exam room so that Dr. Henderson could speak with us. There was no lengthy wait this time; Dr. Henderson was in the room within two minutes. She went over my pet's health, reason for our pet's visit, and asked if we had any other questions regarding our pet's health or the visit in general, of which I didn't have any. Dr. Henderson then apologized for the events of our last visit. She reassured me that the new office manager had been informed of the events, and instituted changes that should prevent any further issues in the future. To be fair, it appeared to me that these changes were effective considering the night-day difference between our last visit only two weeks ago and now. Dr. Henderson offered me an opportunity to speak with the manager myself, to which I declined, and commented that our visit today was a completely different experience from our previous visit. I thanked her for the opportunity, and that was the end of our interaction. Checkout was super quick and easy, and the bill was much MUCH better this time, and on par with previous billing for the same type of visit. I hope that this experience is the new standard at Paradise: A friendly, professional, and welcoming front desk; adherence to appointment times with little or no waiting (things do happen, it's understandable. But minimize the impact on other appointments); a quick, no-nonsense appointment with an awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and personable veterinarian; comparable and competitive pricing for services.
